monday CRM is the sales-focused product in the monday.com family, used to manage leads, deals and customer pipelines. This guide walks through what you need, how to sign up and check out, and what to do if a card payment is declined. You can fund the subscription with a Coinepay virtual card, which gives you a card number, expiry date and CVV you can enter at the monday.com checkout.

Before you start

A few things make the process smoother:

  • A verified Coinepay account. Register at Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC) before you try to pay. Card and fund services are provided through Coinepay's licensed partner financial institutions, so verification is required first.
  • A Coinepay virtual card with available balance. Create a card in the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app (iOS / Google Play) and note the number, expiry and CVV.
  • Your real billing details. monday.com, like most payment processors, checks the billing address and name you enter. Use your genuine details that match your Coinepay account.
  • Admin access on monday.com. Only account admins can open the Billing section and buy or change a plan, and billing must be managed in a web browser.

One important restriction to know up front: the monday CRM pricing FAQ states that debit cards are excluded, and the billing guide lists accepted cards as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and Carte Bleue (PayPal is also offered, but availability varies by location). UnionPay appears in the CRM FAQ but not in the billing guide, so its availability at any given checkout is uncertain. Because the card type an issuer assigns can affect whether a charge is accepted, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets this requirement before you buy. You can reach the team through support or Telegram.

Choose a monday CRM plan

monday CRM's paid tiers are Basic, Standard, Pro and Ultimate. Ultimate is the new name for the former Enterprise tier and is priced by sales quote. There is no continuing free CRM plan, though sign-up starts a 14-day Pro trial that does not require a card; you need a paid plan to keep full CRM features after it ends.

At the time of writing (October 2026), the US-dollar prices shown on the monday CRM pricing page were, per seat per month: Basic $12 annual / $18 monthly, Standard $17 / $25, and Pro $28 / $41, excluding tax. Prices depend on your billing country, so figures for the UK, euro area, Australia, Canada and other markets differ and should not be converted from the US dollar numbers. Always check the final amount on monday.com's official pricing page and at checkout, since that total is what you actually pay.

Two billing details to plan for:

  • Seats come in groups. CRM plans start at three seats and bill in seat groups, so a four-person team selects five seats and a six-person team selects ten.
  • Annual is paid upfront. Annual subscriptions are charged in full at purchase, so make sure your Coinepay card balance covers the whole yearly total, not one month.

Step-by-step: subscribe and pay

  1. Create or open your monday.com account. Sign up for the CRM product to begin the 14-day Pro trial, or log in to your existing account.
  2. Create a Coinepay virtual card. In the Coinepay app or dashboard, issue a card and confirm it has enough balance for your chosen plan and billing cycle. Keep the card number, expiry and CVV handy.
  3. Open the upgrade screen. In monday.com, click your profile picture → Upgrade. Review the plan, the number of seats and the monthly or yearly choice.
  4. Enter payment details. Type your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV, then enter your billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account.
  5. Confirm the total. Check the amount shown before you submit — this reflects your billing country and currency and is the figure that will be charged.
  6. Submit the purchase. monday.com processes the payment and emails a purchase confirmation. If a 3-D Secure prompt appears, approve it through your Coinepay app.

Find billing and receipts later

As an admin, you can review and manage everything from the browser:

  • Plan cost and renewal date: profile picture → Administration → Billing → Overview.
  • Card on file: Billing → Payment method — update this if you issue a new Coinepay card.
  • Billing details: Billing → Settings.
  • Receipts and invoices: Billing → Invoices.

Note that your account currency (from the supported set of USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, MXN, BRL and JPY) is assigned by location at sign-up and cannot be changed after the first payment, so choose carefully.

Troubleshooting a declined payment

If a charge does not go through, monday.com records the invoice status as "Payment failed." Its documented reasons include insufficient funds and an expired, blocked or restricted card, or a bank decline. To see the specific reason and fix it, open Billing → Invoices → Resolve payment, where an admin can view the cause, retry an eligible charge or update the card. A failed renewal left unpaid for 14 days can block the account, so act promptly.

Insufficient balance

Virtual cards can only spend what is loaded on them. Confirm your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the full charge — remember annual plans bill the entire year upfront, plus any tax. Top up in the Coinepay app and retry.

Billing address mismatch

If the name or address you entered does not match your Coinepay billing details, the bank may reject the charge. Re-enter your real details exactly as registered with Coinepay and try again.

3-D Secure / verification

Some payments trigger an extra confirmation step. Keep the Coinepay app open and approve any prompt or notification so the charge can complete.

Card type or region checks

monday.com excludes debit cards and accepts a specific list of card brands, and some options vary by location. If a payment keeps failing after balance and address are correct, the issue may be a card-type or regional check rather than your balance. Confirm with Coinepay support that your card is suitable for this merchant, and check that your billing country is supported by monday.com. The monday.com terms also restrict customers based in or operating from comprehensively sanctioned places (Cuba, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Crimea and the specified Donetsk and Luhansk regions) and sanctioned persons, so the service is not available there.

Cancellation and refunds

monday CRM subscriptions auto-renew. The current terms (dated May 5, 2026) require at least 30 days' notice before an annual subscription expires to avoid renewal unless monday.com permits otherwise. An admin can stop renewal at Administration → Billing → Overview, then the product's three-dot menu → Cancel product → Cancel plan renewal; invoice or wire-transfer customers must contact their account manager instead.

For an initial purchase, a written cancellation request within 30 days can obtain a prorated refund of unused prepaid service; usage-based fees and later purchases, upgrades and renewals are excluded. Monthly renewals and renewed terms are generally not refundable. When a refund is approved, access is blocked immediately and the money typically returns to the card within 7–10 business days. Because a virtual card refund goes back to the card it was charged on, keep that Coinepay card open until any refund lands.

Keep your subscription running

To avoid interruptions, keep enough balance on the Coinepay card before each renewal date (shown in Billing → Overview), update the card on file whenever you reissue one, and watch for monday.com's confirmation and any failed-payment emails. If anything about your card is unclear, reach Coinepay through support or Telegram before your next billing cycle.
