You can start a Zoho Desk trial without a card, then choose a paid edition when you are ready. This guide explains how to prepare a Coinepay virtual card, complete Zoho Desk checkout, and investigate a declined payment. Card acceptance depends on the details of your order and Zoho’s checkout checks.
What you need before subscribing
- A Zoho Desk account: Zoho offers a 15-day trial without a credit card. If you do not upgrade, the trial moves to the Free edition when it ends. Use your real identity and account information when signing up.
- Permission to buy: The Zoho Desk primary contact or a Super Admin can open the upgrade flow. If you do not see the billing controls, ask the appropriate account administrator.
- A Coinepay account and card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Once issued, your virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV. You can manage it in the 24/7 self-service dashboard or the Coinepay mobile app.
- Enough available funds: Check the amount Zoho shows for your chosen edition, agent count and billing period, including any applicable taxes. Check your available card funds in Coinepay before confirming.
- Accurate billing details: Have the real billing name, address and other details needed for your purchase. Enter them consistently across your Zoho account and payment form; do not use an invented address to try to change your checkout region.
Zoho Desk’s pricing FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, as well as bank transfer or check transfer for yearly subscriptions. That list does not establish whether any particular Coinepay card will be accepted. Check the payment options presented for your order, and contact Coinepay support if you need to confirm a card requirement before buying.
Choose a Zoho Desk edition and billing period
Zoho Desk lists five editions: Free, Express, Standard, Professional and Enterprise. Free includes three users, while Express is limited to five. For a paid edition, consider how many agents need access and whether Monthly or Yearly billing suits your budget. Your checkout total, not a price quoted elsewhere, is the amount to review before payment.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Zoho’s US-dollar annual-billing prices were US$7 for Express, US$14 for Standard, US$23 for Professional and US$40 for Enterprise, per user per month, billed annually, with local taxes additional. These are not monthly-billing prices or a promise of the price in your region. Check Zoho Desk’s official pricing page and the total shown in Zoho Store before confirming.
If you are still in the trial, note that upgrading starts the paid billing period immediately. You do not need to wait for the trial to end, but it is worth checking that the selected edition, agent count and billing period are the ones you intend to purchase.
How to pay for Zoho Desk with your virtual card
- Prepare your card. Sign in to the Coinepay dashboard or app and check your virtual card details and available funds. If you have not set up Coinepay yet, register and finish identity verification first. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
- Start or open Zoho Desk. Create a Zoho account through Zoho Desk’s official site, or sign in to your existing Desk account. The 15-day trial does not require a card. If you are buying for a team, confirm that you are the primary contact or a Super Admin.
- Open the upgrade flow. In Zoho Desk, select your account photo → Upgrade → Zoho Store. Choose Express, Standard, Professional or Enterprise, then select Monthly or Yearly billing and the required agent count.
- Review the order. Check the edition, number of agents, billing period, currency, taxes and total displayed in Zoho Store. Prices and available payment options can differ by location. If anything is unexpected, resolve it before entering payment details.
- Enter your card and billing details. If card payment is offered for your order, enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV in Zoho’s payment form. Supply your genuine billing details and complete any verification step that appears. Do not retry with a different country or made-up address to bypass a restriction.
- Confirm and check the result. Submit the payment only after reviewing the final total. Look for Zoho’s order confirmation and verify the subscription status in your account. If the result is unclear, check your Zoho billing area and Coinepay transaction activity before attempting another payment.
You can manage your Coinepay card through the dashboard or mobile app; the app is available for iOS and Android. Keep enough funds available for a later renewal if your Zoho order uses recurring payment. Follow the renewal terms shown for your checkout: payment and renewal methods differ by market. For example, Zoho Store says Indonesia supports only non-recurring payments, which require manual renewal.
If Zoho Desk says your card was declined
A message such as “payment was declined” tells you the attempt failed, but does not by itself identify why. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same unchanged details. Check the following, then ask the relevant support team to investigate if the problem continues.
Insufficient available funds
Compare your Coinepay available funds with Zoho Store’s final amount, including taxes. If you selected Yearly billing, remember that Zoho bills the annual subscription rather than collecting only the displayed per-user-per-month figure. Check the actual checkout total and make sure sufficient funds are available before trying again.
Billing details do not match
Check for typing mistakes in the card number, expiry date and CVV. Review the billing name and address you supplied to Zoho against your genuine payment details, including the country and postal code where requested. Correct errors rather than changing your location to make a payment appear eligible.
Card authentication or 3-D Secure
If checkout asks you to authenticate the card, follow the on-screen steps and keep the window open until Zoho reports a result. An interrupted or unsuccessful authentication can prevent a payment from completing. If you do not receive an expected prompt, or authentication repeatedly fails, note what happened and contact Coinepay support; Zoho support can help determine what Zoho Store recorded for the attempt. Do not assume every declined payment is a 3-D Secure failure.
Merchant region or payment-method checks
Zoho’s available methods and renewal arrangements vary by country. Confirm that your real account and billing information match the region of your order, and check which options Zoho Store actually offers at checkout. A card may also be declined for reasons that are not visible in the checkout message. If Zoho reports a card-type or country requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it before you buy; do not assume it does. If the issue appears specific to your Zoho account or order, contact Zoho support with the time, amount and exact error message, but do not send your full card number or CVV in a support message.
Manage or change your Zoho Desk payment later
To replace a stored card, Zoho Desk directs the primary contact or Super Admin to account photo → Subscription → Zoho Store → Your Store Details → Payment Method → Change. Enter the updated payment details there and verify the result. An expired or invalid stored card can cause a payment to fail and may result in the account moving to Free, so review your billing status after making a change.
To move to a lower edition or Free, go to account photo → Subscription → Zoho Store → Upgrade / Downgrade plan, select the edition and confirm. Zoho Desk says your data is retained on downgrade, but features unavailable in the lower edition stop working or are hidden. A mid-cycle downgrade does not automatically produce a refund for unused time; Zoho Desk says you can request consideration of a prorated refund through its payments team. Check Zoho’s current refund policy and the terms of your subscription before making a change.
Zoho’s sign-up and payment availability can also be restricted by location. Zoho Accounts says it blocks new sign-ups from Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, including sign-ups using mobile numbers with those country codes; restrictions can change. Use the service only where you and your organization are eligible. Coinepay does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions, and some Coinepay services are not available in every jurisdiction.
