You can try paying for Deezer Premium at Deezer’s direct web checkout with a Coinepay virtual card. This guide covers what to prepare, how to subscribe, and what to check if your payment is refused. Card acceptance depends on the options and checks presented at your checkout.
What you need before subscribing
- A Coinepay account and virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. You can view your card number, expiry date and CVV in the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard.
- Enough available funds: Check the amount Deezer displays for your plan, including any applicable tax, and make sure your card has enough available to cover the payment. A trial may still require you to enter a payment method; check the terms shown before confirming.
- A Deezer account: Have an email address and password ready, or use Deezer’s Google or Facebook sign-in option. Use your real identity and accurate billing details.
- The right checkout for your location: Deezer plans, offers and payment methods vary by country. Check the official Deezer offers page for your location and review the final amount and renewal terms at checkout.
Deezer lists American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, PayPal, Apple and Google Play among methods supported in the majority of countries, but that list does not mean every method appears at every checkout. Check the payment options Deezer offers you; do not assume that a particular card will be accepted.
Choose the Deezer plan you actually want
Deezer Free includes ads. Its paid tiers are Deezer Premium, Deezer Student, Deezer Duo and Deezer Family; the paid tiers include ad-free and offline listening. Premium and Student are for one account each, Duo is for two, and Family supports up to six. Deezer HiFi is not sold as a separate subscription tier.
If you want Premium, select Deezer Premium rather than a multi-account plan. Prices vary by region, so consult Deezer’s official offers page and the amount shown at checkout instead of relying on a price from another country. Also check whether you are selecting monthly or annual billing where both are offered. An advertised one-month trial is limited to eligible people who have not previously had a Deezer subscription, promotion or trial; do not assume a returning account qualifies.
Student has separate eligibility requirements: Deezer limits it to eligible enrolled people aged 18–25 in countries where the plan is offered and checks eligibility. It cannot be purchased through the Apple store or telecom partners. Duo may not be offered in every territory. These details matter if you decide to switch away from Premium before paying.
How to subscribe to Deezer Premium on the web
- Prepare your Coinepay card. Sign in to the Coinepay app or dashboard, locate your virtual card, and check its available funds and card details. If you need help with your account or card, contact Coinepay support.
- Open Deezer’s official offers page. Choose the offers page for your actual location. Select Deezer Premium and read the displayed billing period, price, trial eligibility and renewal terms.
- Sign in or create a Deezer account. Deezer’s subscription flow lets you use an email address and password or sign in with Google or Facebook. If you already have an account, sign in to that account so the subscription is attached to the profile you intend to use.
- Select a card payment option if one is offered. Enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV as shown in your Coinepay account. Enter your real billing information accurately. Review any country or address fields rather than changing them to make a payment appear eligible.
- Review and confirm. Check the amount, billing interval and any trial end date before submitting. If a card-verification step appears, follow its on-screen instructions. Deezer says a subscription starts immediately after the payment method is confirmed; check your account’s subscription status rather than repeatedly submitting the checkout if the result is unclear.
This is the direct-web billing route. Subscribing through Apple or Google Play creates a different billing relationship: payment methods for Apple-billed subscriptions are managed through Apple, and those for Google Play-billed subscriptions through Google Play. Deezer also notes that App Store subscription prices can be higher than direct-web prices, so compare the amount at the checkout you intend to use.
Where to find or change your payment method
For a subscription billed directly by Deezer on the web, go to Profile → Account Settings → Manage my subscription → Payment method. If you have Deezer Family, the main profile must make payment changes. Deezer also documents an in-app path on iOS: Profile → Settings → Subscription → Plan management → Subscription details & invoices → Payment method. The options you can change depend on who bills the subscription; an Apple- or Google Play-billed payment method must be managed with that provider.
Before replacing a card, check which account holds your active subscription and whether a payment is already pending. If you cannot tell who bills you, look at your subscription details or billing receipt. Adding a card in Deezer’s direct-billing settings will not change a payment method held by Apple or Google Play.
If Deezer declines your Coinepay card
A refusal can have several causes. Work through the checks below, then make one careful retry after correcting a specific issue. A checkout message such as “we are unable to complete your transaction” does not, by itself, identify the reason: it has appeared in a user report, but no single diagnosis is confirmed for that wording.
- Insufficient balance: Compare the available funds shown by Coinepay with Deezer’s final checkout amount. If you are renewing, check the amount due for the current billing period, not a previous trial price. Deezer includes insufficient funds in its refused-payment checklist.
- Incorrect card details or expiry: Re-enter the number, expiry and CVV from your Coinepay app or dashboard. Deezer also cites expired, invalid or bank-locked cards and incorrect CVV/CVC details as possible reasons for refusal.
- Billing address or country mismatch: Check that the billing details you entered are accurate and consistent with your real details. Deezer flags country mismatch as a possible issue. If checkout requires a payment method issued in a particular country, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets that requirement before you buy. Do not substitute another address or country to bypass the check.
- 3-D Secure or another verification step: If checkout asks you to authenticate, complete the prompt before returning to Deezer. If no prompt arrives, it expires, or authentication fails, check the status of the attempt and contact Coinepay support for help identifying the card-side issue. Do not assume a verification prompt will appear for every payment.
- Online, overseas or recurring-payment checks: Deezer identifies cards not enabled for these payment types as another possible cause. Check your card’s status and relevant settings in Coinepay, and ask support if you cannot establish why the transaction was refused.
Deezer says that when a recurring payment is refused, it emails the subscriber and retries a few days later. After two or more refusals, it may cancel the subscription; reactivation then requires waiting until the account returns to Deezer Free. Check your email and subscription status before attempting to subscribe again.
Manage a subscription or a move to another country
To cancel a directly billed subscription on the web, use Profile → Account Settings → Manage my subscription → Cancel my subscription, then confirm. Deezer says it sends a confirmation email. Paid features remain until the current subscription period ends; afterward, offline downloads can no longer be played. Cancel Apple-billed subscriptions with Apple and partner-billed subscriptions with the relevant partner.
If you move countries, Deezer says you must finish and cancel the existing subscription before re-subscribing for local-currency billing with a payment method issued in your new default country. Do not assume your current Coinepay card meets that requirement: contact Coinepay support to confirm before you make plans to re-subscribe.

FAQ
Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for Deezer Premium?
You can try it at Deezer’s direct web checkout if card payment is offered. Acceptance depends on Deezer’s checkout and payment checks; check your card details and available funds before submitting.
Where do I update my card for a directly billed Deezer subscription?
On the web, go to Profile → Account Settings → Manage my subscription → Payment method. Apple- and Google Play-billed payment methods must be managed with those providers.
Why was my Deezer payment refused?
Check available funds, expiry, CVV, accurate billing details and any verification prompt. Deezer also cites country mismatch and restrictions on online, overseas or recurring payments as possible causes.
Will an advertised Deezer trial apply to my account?
Not necessarily. Deezer restricts its advertised one-month trials to eligible users without a prior subscription, promotion or trial. Check the terms shown at your checkout.
