You can create a Tiendanube store and select a paid plan from its browser-based administrator. If you want to use a Coinepay virtual card for the plan charge, first check that Tiendanube operates in your country and that the payment options shown at checkout accept your card. This guide covers paying for your store plan—not accepting payments from customers at your storefront.

Before you start

Tiendanube says stores can be created and operated from Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Chile; in Brazil, the service is branded Nuvemshop. Registration outside those markets is generally unavailable because of plan-payment limitations. Being able to sell to customers in another country does not mean you can register a store there. Use your real identity, country and billing details, and follow the requirements shown for your market. A virtual card does not bypass regional eligibility or payment checks.

  • Prepare your store details: Have a brand name, an email address you can access and a password ready. Registration also asks for country-specific information and email confirmation.
  • Prepare your Coinepay card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your issued virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV, available through Coinepay’s self-service dashboard or mobile app.
  • Check the payable amount: Review the plan, billing period and final charge at Tiendanube checkout. Make sure your available funds cover that amount. Do not assume a free trial means no payment will be needed when a paid plan begins.
  • Check card eligibility before relying on it: Tiendanube’s documented payment routes differ by country and card category. If checkout specifies a particular card type or a card issued in a particular country, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets that requirement before you buy. Tiendanube or its payment processor makes the final payment decision.

Choose the Tiendanube plan for your country

Plan names and prices vary by market. The following amounts were displayed on Tiendanube’s official country pricing pages at the time of writing (October 2026); check the official Tiendanube pricing page for your country and the amount at checkout before paying.

MarketPlans and displayed monthly prices
ArgentinaInicial: free; Esencial: ARS 27,999; Impulso: ARS 79,999; Escala: ARS 244,999; Tiendanube Evolución: price on request.
MexicoGratis: free; Básico: MXN 149; Tiendanube: MXN 374; Avanzado: MXN 999; Tiendanube Evolución: price on request.
ColombiaBásico: COP 33,900; Tiendanube: COP 74,900; Avanzado: COP 249,900. No continuing free tier is listed.
ChileBásico: CLP 7,999 plus IVA; Tiendanube: CLP 19,999 plus IVA; Avanzado: CLP 59,999 plus IVA. No continuing free tier is listed.

Paid plans have a seven-day trial; Argentina and Mexico also list continuing free plans. Argentina offers monthly or annual advance payment, while Colombia lists monthly, quarterly and annual periods. Select the billing period actually available to your account and verify its total before confirming. These are store-plan prices, not the charges for processing your customers’ purchases. For example, Tiendanube’s Argentina pricing distinguishes its transaction charges with Pago Nube from those with other payment methods; payment processors may also charge their own fees.

Sign up and pay with your Coinepay virtual card

  1. Create the store on Tiendanube’s official site. Choose Crear tienda gratis in Argentina or Mexico, or Probar 7 días gratis in Colombia or Chile. Enter your brand name, email and password, accept the terms, provide the requested country-specific details and confirm your account through the email Tiendanube sends.
  2. Choose a plan. Review the plans offered for your registered country. If you select a paid plan or have a pending plan charge, use a web browser to open your store administrator. Tiendanube directs plan payments through the browser administrator, not its mobile app.
  3. Open the billing area. Select the store-name button in the administrator, then Planes y pagos. Choose the pending charge and an available billing period, and continue to payment. The section also displays payment status and the next due date.
  4. Review the payment route. Select an available card option if one is offered for your account. Tiendanube documents credit-card and debit-card routes in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Chile; its Argentina and Chile guidance also explicitly lists prepaid-card payment routes. That documentation does not establish which category your Coinepay card belongs to or guarantee that a particular checkout will accept it. Credit-card plan checkout uses recurring charges processed by Mercado Pago; the documented debit-card checkout goes through Mercado Pago and can be completed as a guest.
  5. Enter accurate payment information. Retrieve the current card number, expiry date and CVV from Coinepay and enter them in the payment form. Provide your real billing information exactly as requested; a first-time Mexican checkout also asks for billing details. Check the plan, period, tax where applicable and final amount before submitting. Complete any legitimate cardholder verification requested by the payment flow.
  6. Verify the result before trying again. Return to Planes y pagos to check the payment status and next due date. If a charge is still processing or awaiting confirmation, do not assume it has failed and repeatedly submit the payment.

Other documented plan-payment routes vary by country. They include Mercado Pago balance in all four markets, PSE and Efecty in Colombia, and bank transfer or deposit in Argentina. Those alternatives are not instructions for using a virtual card; check Tiendanube’s options for your account if card payment is unavailable.

Troubleshoot a declined or pending card payment

A failed attempt does not identify its cause by itself. Tiendanube lists insufficient funds, incorrect card details, security or fraud-risk checks, and required issuer authorization among possible reasons; it also says Mercado Pago does not provide Tiendanube with a precise reason for every failure. Start with the status shown in Planes y pagos, then work through the relevant checks:

  • Insufficient balance: Compare the available funds shown in Coinepay with the full checkout amount, including any applicable tax. If needed, add funds using an option available in your Coinepay account, then retry only after checking that no earlier payment is pending.
  • Card details or billing mismatch: Re-enter the card number, expiry and CVV carefully. Check that the billing name, address and country you submitted are your real details and match the information required for the card and store account. Do not substitute an address from another market to try to pass a regional check.
  • 3-D Secure or another authorization step: If checkout asks you to authenticate, complete the prompt through the legitimate channel provided. If it expires or fails, check Coinepay for any relevant card or payment notification and contact support for help. Do not share your CVV or authentication codes with someone offering to approve the payment for you.
  • Merchant region or card-category checks: Confirm your store is registered in an eligible market and review the card option you selected. A processor may reject a card that does not meet its requirements even when its details and balance are correct. Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets a stated requirement, and ask Tiendanube about the payment options available for your account.

In Mexico, Tiendanube’s help documentation identifies Pago no procesado as a payment-not-processed notice. By contrast, Estamos procesando tu pago con cobro recurrente means a recurring payment is being processed, while Aguardando que se acredite tu pago vía Mercado Pago indicates that Mercado Pago confirmation is pending. Check the status before making another attempt; if it does not resolve, contact Tiendanube about the plan charge and Coinepay support about any card-side issue.

Manage future plan charges

Review your next due date under Planes y pagos and keep enough funds available if you have an active recurring payment. To stop future automatic charges, Tiendanube documents Planes y pagos → Mostrar detalles → Cancelar débito automático. This stops the auto-debit; it does not cancel your store or plan, and it cannot stop a charge that has already started processing.

If you intend to close the store instead, Tiendanube documents Datos del negocio → Cancelar mi Tiendanube in the browser administrator, followed by confirmation steps. Closing is immediate and disables automatic billing. Tiendanube advises removing a connected custom domain and withdrawing any Pago Nube balance first. Read the applicable cancellation terms before paying in advance: Tiendanube’s Mexico guidance says prepaid plan payments are non-refundable, and its Argentina guidance says unused paid days are not refunded after cancellation.

FAQ

Can I pay for a Tiendanube plan with any Coinepay virtual card?

Not necessarily. Available card routes and eligibility requirements depend on the checkout. If it specifies a card type or issuing-country requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before paying.

Where do I pay my Tiendanube plan bill?

In a web browser, open your store administrator, select the store-name button, then choose Planes y pagos. Select the pending charge and billing period to continue.

Does Pago no procesado mean my card lacks funds?

No. It means the payment was not processed, but the cause could also involve card details, authorization or security checks. Check the payment status and your card information before retrying.

Does cancelling Tiendanube auto-debit close my store?

No. Planes y pagos → Mostrar detalles → Cancelar débito automático stops future automatic charges but does not cancel the store or a charge already processing.
