You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at Zoom Phone checkout if a card payment option is available for your order. Before you buy, check that the calling plan, phone numbers and billing details fit your needs. This guide covers the purchase steps and what to check if Zoom declines the payment.

What you need before subscribing

  • A Zoom account with billing access. The account owner, an admin or a role with the relevant privileges must be able to purchase and manage the subscription. If you are setting up a new account, sign up through Zoom’s official site using your real account and business details.
  • A Coinepay account and card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Once your virtual card is issued, its card number, expiry date and CVV are available to use at checkout. You can manage it in the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard.
  • A suitable Zoom Phone plan. Zoom distinguishes Zoom Phone Basic, Licensed/Pro calling licenses and Common Area licenses. A Basic license alone is not a paid outside-calling plan. Decide how many people or common areas need service, and confirm what calling each license includes.
  • Accurate billing and phone-service information. Use your real billing name and address. If you need local numbers or want to move existing numbers to Zoom, check the applicable country requirements and number availability before placing the order.

Zoom’s purchase flow offers calling-plan regions including US & Canada, UK & Ireland, AUS & NZ, Japan and Global Select. Metered or Unlimited choices appear where offered. Its US-facing product page also displays bundles named US & CA Unlimited, Pro Plus and Business Plus. The names describe different packages; do not assume they include the same Workplace license or calling allowance. Prices vary by region and order configuration, so check Zoom’s official pricing page and your checkout total rather than relying on a quoted starting price. Usage charges, taxes and other fees may add to subscription charges.

How to buy Zoom Phone with your Coinepay card

  1. Prepare your card. Sign in to the Coinepay app or dashboard and locate your virtual card details. Check the available funds against the full Zoom checkout total, including any taxes or fees shown. Keep access to your Coinepay account during payment in case an authentication step appears.
  2. Open Zoom’s purchase flow. Sign in as an account admin on Zoom’s official site. Go to Pricing → Phone → Buy Now. If you already have a Zoom account and do not see that route, look under Plans and Billing → Plan Management. Zoom’s newer web experience may instead show profile picture → Admin Center → Billing → Current Plans.
  3. Choose the Phone configuration. Select the appropriate calling-plan region and, where offered, Metered or Unlimited calling. Enter the license and number quantities you need. If you are transferring existing phone numbers, use the optional number-validation step when it appears. Review requirements for any new local numbers separately: availability and required documents vary by country.
  4. Review billing choices. Select the subscription cycle and the available option for handling calling fees. Read the order summary closely: confirm the license count, plan, billing period, billing country and complete amount due. Make sure the calling plan meets your needs; a Zoom Phone Basic license by itself does not provide a paid outside-calling plan.
  5. Enter payment details. If Zoom offers card payment for your checkout, enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV. Enter your genuine billing details accurately. Zoom lists cards among its payment methods, but the options available can depend on eligibility and the specific checkout.
  6. Place the order. Complete any payment authentication requested on screen, then select Place Order. Wait for Zoom’s order confirmation before trying again or changing the order. Save the confirmation and review the new subscription in Zoom’s billing area.

If your organization needs a particular local phone number, confirm that requirement before paying. A calling-plan region does not guarantee that a number is available in a specific location. Zoom may require country-specific documents to obtain a number, and local telephony capabilities differ by country.

How to check or update the payment method later

For an existing subscription, an account owner, admin or role with billing privileges can open Zoom’s billing portal to review or change the stored payment method, subject to the options available to the account. Look under Plans and Billing → Billing Management or Plan Management. In the newer interface, open profile picture → Admin Center → Billing → Current Plans and follow the billing controls shown there. Zoom maintains instructions for both navigation layouts, so use the route visible in your account.

Check the next renewal date and the payment method saved for future charges. If you intend to stop a subscription purchased directly from Zoom, eligible owners or admins can use Plans and billing → Cancel Plan before renewal. Zoom says service continues through the paid term; cancellation does not itself produce a refund. Under Zoom’s standard terms, payments for the current term are generally non-refundable unless an exception applies. Reducing Zoom Phone licenses takes effect at the end of the term without a refund or credit.

What to do if Zoom declines your card

Do not repeatedly submit the same details without checking the cause. Read any message Zoom displays, then work through the relevant checks below. Zoom documents insufficient funds, unsupported billing currency, blocked online or recurring transactions, invalid billing details and general issuer declines as possible causes. A temporary processor error is also possible.

Insufficient funds or a higher-than-expected total

Compare the amount due at checkout with your card’s available funds. Check the chosen license quantity, billing period and any taxes, fees or calling-related charges displayed in the order. If funds are insufficient, add funds using the options available in your Coinepay account, then retry once the available amount covers the purchase. For questions about funding options, use Coinepay support.

Billing address or card-details mismatch

Re-enter the card number, expiry date and CVV carefully, and check that the billing name and address are your real, current details. An invalid address or card detail can cause a decline. If you are paying for an organization, make sure the billing information entered at Zoom corresponds to the details appropriate for the payment. Do not substitute a different country or an invented address to try to pass a check.

3-D Secure or another authentication step

If checkout opens an authentication challenge, complete it in the window or app presented and return to Zoom to see whether the order succeeded. An interrupted or expired challenge can prevent completion even when the card details were entered correctly. If no prompt arrives, or authentication repeatedly fails, check your Coinepay app for relevant notices and contact Coinepay support with the time and amount of the attempted payment. Avoid sending your full card number or CVV in a support message.

Merchant region or payment-eligibility checks

Zoom may show different plans and payment options depending on the account and billing location. An unsupported billing currency or an unavailable payment option can also prevent checkout. Confirm that your real billing country, selected calling-plan region and requested phone numbers are appropriate for your account. If Zoom indicates a country, card or account-eligibility restriction, ask Zoom to clarify that requirement and contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it before you buy. Do not use a different address or other workarounds to bypass regional rules.

Still unable to pay?

If the page reports a processor error, wait and check whether Zoom created an order before submitting payment again. If the decline persists, give Zoom support the displayed message and your order context; ask Coinepay support to investigate the card attempt if needed. Share the time, amount and merchant name, but not your CVV. Zoom’s general payment-method list includes alternatives in some locations, but their availability for your particular Zoom Phone checkout must be checked on screen. Zoom states that its online Zoom Phone purchases do not support Klarna or Japan’s Furikomi.

FAQ

Is Zoom Phone Basic enough to make outside calls?

No. A Zoom Phone Basic license alone is not a paid outside-calling plan. Review the available calling licenses and plan details before ordering.

Where can I change the card saved for Zoom Phone?

An eligible owner, admin or billing-privileged user can use Zoom’s billing portal. Look under Plans and Billing, or profile picture → Admin Center → Billing in the newer interface.

Why was my Coinepay card declined at Zoom checkout?

Check available funds, card details, your real billing address and any authentication prompt. Zoom also documents unsupported billing currency, blocked online or recurring transactions, issuer declines and temporary processor errors.

Will canceling Zoom Phone refund the current term?

Cancellation does not itself generate a refund. Zoom says service continues through the paid term; review its terms and your order for any applicable exception.
