Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office is now called Acronis True Image, although you may still see the older name on some Acronis pages. This guide explains how to choose a subscription, enter your Coinepay virtual card at checkout and handle common payment problems. Acronis decides which payment methods are available for your location and order, so check the options shown at checkout before relying on a particular card.

What you need before checkout

  • A Coinepay account and virtual card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can view in the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard.
  • Enough available funds. Check your card’s available balance against the final checkout total, not just the advertised starting price. The number of computers, cloud-storage selection and any additional services can affect the order total. Check the Coinepay app or contact Coinepay support if you need information about your card or funding options.
  • Your real account and billing details. Use an email address you can access: Acronis uses it for license delivery and creates an account for that email if you do not already have one. Enter your actual billing details rather than an invented address or a different country.
  • A plan that fits your backup needs. Decide whether you need local backup only or Acronis cloud storage, and how many computers you want to cover.

You can manage Coinepay through its dashboard or mobile app, available for iOS and Android. Card services may not be available in every jurisdiction.

Choose the right Acronis True Image subscription

Acronis sells three one-year True Image subscription tiers for 1, 3 or 5 computers. The cloud-storage choice matters particularly if you are buying the product to back up files online:

TierBackup and storage distinction
Acronis True Image EssentialsLocal backup; no included cloud storage.
Acronis True Image AdvancedIncludes 50 GB of cloud storage, with an upgrade option up to 500 GB.
Acronis True Image PremiumIncludes 1 TB of cloud storage, with an upgrade option up to 10 TB.

At the time of writing (October 2026), the Acronis US product page displayed starting prices of $49.99/year for Essentials, $72.99/year for Advanced and $124.99/year for Premium. Those figures are not a quote for your order: device count, added storage and location can change what you pay. Check Acronis’s official True Image pricing page and the final checkout total before confirming.

If you want Identity Protection, check eligibility separately: Acronis lists that feature for Advanced and Premium in the US only. Its availability is not a reason to enter a US billing address if you do not have one.

How to pay on the Acronis website

  1. Go to Acronis’s official True Image product or purchasing page. Look for Acronis True Image even if you began your search using the former Cyber Protect Home Office name.
  2. Choose Essentials, Advanced or Premium and select the number of computers. For Advanced or Premium, review the offered cloud-storage capacity and select any upgrade you actually need.
  3. Review the one-year subscription and the total shown for your location. Confirm that the checkout offers card payment for your order before proceeding.
  4. Enter the email address you want associated with your Acronis purchase and license delivery. If you already have an Acronis account, use the email associated with it if you want the purchase tied to that account.
  5. Retrieve the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay app or dashboard. Enter them in the card fields, along with your real billing details wherever requested. Recheck the number, expiry and billing address before submitting.
  6. Select Review and buy. Read the final order summary, including the selected devices, storage and amount, and complete any payment verification requested by the checkout.
  7. After a successful purchase, check your email for Acronis’s download link and activation key. If the message does not arrive, check your spam folder and confirm which email you entered before attempting another purchase.

The payment methods presented can depend on the checkout and your location. Acronis lists cards, PayPal and localized methods generally, but that does not establish that any particular virtual card will be accepted for your order.

Buying from inside the Acronis app

If you already have the True Image application open, Acronis also documents an in-app purchase route. Go to Account → Buy full version, select a license and device count, then review the order and any additional services. Enter your payment details and select Buy now when you are ready to place the order. Use the same balance and billing-detail checks you would use on the website. The labels and options you see may vary with your version and location.

If your Coinepay card is declined

A failed payment does not, by itself, identify the cause. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same details without checking the order and card first. Work through the possibilities below, then contact the appropriate support team if the reason remains unclear.

Insufficient balance or an expired card

Compare the available card balance with the final amount shown by Acronis, including your device count and any storage or additional-service selections. Acronis identifies insufficient funds and expired cards as possible causes of missed renewal payments. Check the expiry date you entered and, if necessary, ask Coinepay support about your card or funding status. Do not assume the advertised starting price is the amount being charged.

Billing details or card information do not match

Check for typing errors in the card number, expiry date and CVV. Make sure the billing name and address are your real details and are entered consistently with the information requested at checkout. Payment processing guidance identifies mistyped information as one possible reason for a decline. If you correct an error, review the order again before retrying.

Payment verification does not complete

If checkout asks you to complete 3-D Secure or another cardholder-verification step, follow the instructions shown there and finish it in the available time. If the verification page does not load, closes unexpectedly or returns you to checkout without a completed order, check whether a charge or Acronis confirmation already exists before trying again. For help with a card-verification problem, contact Coinepay support; for an Acronis order that appears incomplete, contact Acronis support with your order email and any reference shown.

Merchant region checks or a card restriction

Acronis may limit an order based on its own regional policies, and payment options depend on the checkout location. Acronis says it does not do business in Russia or Belarus and identifies additional prohibited jurisdictions in its sanctions policy. Coinepay also does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions. Neither service should be used to bypass a regional restriction.

If checkout specifies a restriction on eligible card types or card-issuance countries, do not assume your Coinepay card qualifies. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the stated requirement before you buy, and ask Acronis support whether the order is available for your actual location. A card may also be held or blocked for an international transaction; support can help you investigate a decline without changing your identity or billing country.

Manage renewal, payment details and refunds

For website purchases, Acronis says automatic renewal is enabled by default. If you do not want the next renewal, use the Manage your subscription link in your purchase-confirmation email and find Cancel your subscription for the relevant subscription. Cancelling renewal stops future renewals; it does not itself refund the order you already placed.

To manage the license, go to account.acronis.com → Products → Acronis True Image → Manage. That license area is not the same as a general card-editing page. If a renewal payment is missed, Acronis says it sends a separate link for changing the payment option or card details; follow the instructions in the genuine account email or ask Acronis support if you cannot locate it.

For a refund, consult Acronis’s Refund policy for Personal products and contact Acronis support. The applicable terms depend on the product and region; do not assume a universal refund period. If your receipt shows that Cleverbridge processed the order, its refund-request route asks for the purchase email, order reference and reason. Check the receipt first, and be aware that a completed refund deactivates the license.
