Tilda is a website builder and e-commerce platform used to design landing pages, blogs and online stores. If you want to move past the Free plan, you will need a card on file to pay for a Personal or Business subscription. This guide explains how to create a Coinepay virtual card and use it to pay for a Tilda plan, and how to work through a declined-payment message.
What you need before you start
- A Tilda account with a verified email address.
- A Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. You must register and complete KYC before using card services. Create your Coinepay account and manage everything from the iOS or Android app.
- A Coinepay virtual card with its card number, expiry date and CVV ready, plus enough balance to cover the plan.
- Your real billing details, including the card's issuing country, matching the information you want to enter in Tilda.
Tilda's international subscription FAQ names Visa and Mastercard bank cards for plan payments, and its terms also allow a payment app or payment system if it is offered in that account's checkout. Because the card network of your Coinepay card is something you should confirm yourself, check your card details in the Coinepay app, and contact Coinepay support if you want to confirm your card meets this requirement before you buy.
Step 1: Create or sign in to your Tilda account
Sign-up requires a name, email address and password, followed by email verification. Tilda offers a two-week Personal-plan trial that requires no card, so you can build first and add payment later. When you are ready to pay, sign in to your Tilda account.
Step 2: Set your profile country to match your card
Tilda asks you to set Profile → Country to the card's issuing country before you pay. This helps the checkout show the correct payment options and reduces the chance of a region mismatch. Use the country where your Coinepay card is issued and your real billing details. Do not try to disguise your location.
Note Tilda's regional structure: the tilda.cc terms exclude users primarily located in Russia, Kazakhstan or Belarus and direct them to tilda.ru, tilda.kz or tilda.by. Payment options differ between these sites, so use the account that matches where you are.
Step 3: Open Plans and Billing and choose a plan
Go to Dashboard → Plans and Billing (or More → Plans and Billing inside the page editor). The public plan names are Free, Personal and Business, which allow one, one and five websites respectively; Business also includes code export. Larger tiers named for their website limits (Business 10, 15, 20 and 30) show their prices only in the signed-in billing area.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the international pricing page listed Free at $0, Personal at $15 month-to-month or $10/month billed annually ($120/year), and Business at $25 month-to-month or $20/month billed annually ($240/year). Prices vary by region and change over time, so always confirm the current amount on Tilda's official pricing page or in your billing area before you confirm.
Step 4: Enter your Coinepay card and pay
- Select the plan and billing cycle (month-to-month or annual) you want.
- At the card form, enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV exactly as shown in the Coinepay app.
- Enter billing details that match your Coinepay account and your Tilda profile country.
- Complete any 3-D Secure confirmation step your card requires (see troubleshooting below).
- Submit the payment and wait for Tilda to confirm the plan is active.
Paid plans renew automatically under Tilda's terms, so make sure your Coinepay card keeps enough balance before each renewal date if you want the plan to continue.
Troubleshooting a declined Tilda payment
Tilda lists these subscription-payment failure reasons: incomplete bank support for 3-D Secure, a bank's internal block, or insufficient funds. The exact on-screen decline wording can vary, so work through the common causes below.
Insufficient balance
Confirm your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the full charge, including the annual total if you chose annual billing. Top up in the Coinepay app and try again. Remember renewals draw the same amount later.
Billing address or country mismatch
Make sure the billing details in Tilda match your Coinepay account and that Profile → Country is set to the card's issuing country. A mismatch between your profile country, your billing address and the card can trigger a decline.
3-D Secure confirmation
Tilda flags incomplete 3-D Secure support as a failure reason. If your card uses an extra verification step, approve it in the Coinepay app when prompted. Check the app for any pending confirmation and complete it promptly so the authorization does not time out.
Merchant or region checks
If Tilda's checkout rejects the card for region reasons, confirm you are on the correct regional Tilda site for where you are and that your profile country is accurate. Do not use a VPN, a false address or anyone else's identity to get around a check.
Still declined
Tilda advises contacting its support if your bank confirms the card is sound. From the Coinepay side, open the app to check whether the charge was attempted or blocked, and reach Coinepay support or our Telegram if you need help confirming your card details. Note that Tilda also publishes a separate FAQ for declined PayPal payments advising a personal rather than business PayPal account, but whether PayPal appears in every current subscription checkout is not something to assume.
Managing renewals and cancellation
To stop auto-renewal, use Plans and Billing → Cancel subscription, or email [email protected] at least three calendar days before your term expires. Tilda says that if the cancellation button is missing, renewal is already off. Cancelling does not immediately move you to Free: the switch happens after your paid term or trial expires, and paid-only features stop working then.
Tilda's terms state that payment is not refundable after plan activation, including when changing plans, though Tilda may grant a full or partial refund at its discretion. Mistaken-charge or forgotten-renewal requests go to your account's support form. Keep an eye on your Coinepay balance and transaction history around renewal dates so you are never surprised by a charge.
A note on Tilda's own store checkout
Paying for your Tilda plan is different from accepting payments from your own customers. If you sell on Tilda, you configure gateways under Site Settings → Payment Systems; your buyers then pay through the connected gateway or choose among methods in the cart. That customer-facing setup is separate from the plan billing covered in this guide.
Some services are not available in every jurisdiction, and Coinepay services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China. Always use your real identity and real billing details with both Coinepay and Tilda.
