You can enter a Coinepay virtual card when ordering Liquid Web hosting or updating a card in Liquid Web’s billing portal. This guide covers what to prepare, the documented Cloud VPS checkout path, and practical steps if a payment does not go through. Check the final order details before paying: hosting configurations, promotions, taxes, and optional services can change what you owe.

Before you start

Set up your Coinepay card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Coinepay provides an instant virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV, which you can view and manage in its 24/7 self-service dashboard or mobile app. Have access to the app or dashboard during checkout in case you need to review the card or a payment notification.

Choose the Liquid Web service you actually need. Liquid Web lists VPS, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, managed WordPress, and managed WooCommerce. Its VPS options include configurations identified by RAM, such as 1 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM. Managed VPS configurations are grouped as General, Memory-optimized, and CPU-optimized; server management levels include Self-managed, Core managed, and Managed. Compare the resources, management level, billing cycle, and any extras before placing an order. Prices vary by configuration and promotion, so use Liquid Web’s official pricing page and your checkout total for the current charge.

Use accurate account and billing information. Sign up under your real identity and enter your real billing details. Check that the name and billing address you give Liquid Web match the details associated with your payment method where applicable. Do not substitute another country or address to try to pass a payment check. Liquid Web lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal as accepted payment methods, but that list does not establish whether any particular Coinepay card will pass its checkout checks. If you need to confirm a card requirement before buying, contact Coinepay support; you can also ask Liquid Web about its checkout requirements.

How to order Liquid Web hosting with your card

The steps below follow Liquid Web’s documented Cloud VPS ordering path. Other products may have different configuration screens, but you should still review the complete order and payment details before submitting it.

  1. Start a Cloud VPS order. In Liquid Web, choose Create and deploy, then VPS Hosting.
  2. Configure the server. Select a location, operating system, management level, billing cycle, hardware, and any available options. Choose based on your workload and the terms shown for that configuration, rather than assuming an introductory offer applies to a later renewal or upgrade.
  3. Continue to checkout. Select Buy and Deploy and log in or create a Liquid Web account if prompted. Provide your real account and billing information.
  4. Select a card payment method. When Liquid Web asks for payment, enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV shown by Coinepay. Review the billing address and any payment-verification prompt before continuing.
  5. Read the terms and review the total. Check the billing cycle, selected options, applicable taxes, promotional conditions, and amount due. Liquid Web’s advertised server promotions may apply to new accounts rather than upgrades. Accept the terms only after you have reviewed them.
  6. Submit once. Choose Place your order, then check Liquid Web’s order or invoice status and your Coinepay activity. If the page stalls, check those records before trying again so you do not accidentally place a second order.

A hosting order is not the same as a domain-registration order. If you also register a domain, review its billing terms separately: Liquid Web documents a cart-display issue in which domain registration may appear as “monthly,” although domain registrations are billed annually.

Pay an invoice or change your saved card

For an existing Liquid Web account, sign in at portal.liquidweb.com. Open your user avatar → Billing Center in Account Settings. The Billing Center shows balances, invoices, transactions, and AutoPay. To replace your saved payment method, go to Payment Method → Change Method → New Card and enter your Coinepay card details. Liquid Web also offers Connect PayPal there.

To handle an outstanding invoice, use Pay now in the Billing Center. Liquid Web says this can be used for a full or partial payment, including a one-time payment with another card or PayPal. If you intend to change future automatic charges, do not assume a one-time invoice payment replaces the saved card: check Payment Method and AutoPay separately afterward.

Liquid Web says adding a valid payment method automatically enables AutoPay. Review that setting and your upcoming invoices if you do not want an unexpected renewal charge. Card-detail changes are limited to three per billing cycle; after that, Liquid Web directs customers to open a support case with its Billing team. Avoid repeatedly replacing the card while troubleshooting one failed charge.

If Liquid Web declines the payment

A declined payment does not, by itself, identify which company or check caused the problem. Liquid Web does not publish a card-by-card diagnosis for its checkout, so the following are checks to make—not Liquid Web-specific error codes or promises that a retry will work. Save the invoice or order reference and any message actually displayed before contacting support.

Insufficient available funds

Compare the amount due at Liquid Web checkout with the funds available for the Coinepay card in your dashboard or app. Allow for the full order total, including selected extras and applicable taxes, rather than relying on an advertised starting price. If the amount is not available, address that first and then retry only after confirming the checkout has not already created a paid order. For questions about your card’s available funds or a pending charge, contact Coinepay support.

Billing address or account-detail mismatch

Recheck the name, address, postal code, and other billing fields entered at Liquid Web against your real payment details. Correct a typo, but do not invent a local address or change your country to bypass a restriction. If the details are correct and payment still fails, ask Liquid Web what information its checkout requires and ask Coinepay support to help review the card-side result.

3-D Secure or another verification step

If checkout opens a card-verification prompt, complete it using the instructions shown. Keep the relevant Coinepay account or app accessible, and check whether a prompt has timed out before starting a new attempt. If no prompt appears or verification repeatedly fails, report what you saw to Coinepay support and Liquid Web. Do not assume every Liquid Web transaction will request the same verification step.

Merchant or region checks

Liquid Web may assess a transaction using its own account, payment, and legal requirements. Its data-centre locations do not establish where customers can sign up or which cards will be accepted. Confirm that your real country and billing information are eligible for the service you are ordering. If Liquid Web indicates a card-type or region restriction, ask Liquid Web for the applicable requirement and contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before you buy. Do not try alternate identities, addresses, or locations to work around a refusal.

If an invoice is already past due, act promptly rather than waiting for another automatic attempt. Liquid Web says it retries a failed card charge on Mondays, may suspend an account 14 days after a past-due notice, and may terminate it with data deletion if the invoice remains unpaid for 28 days. Check the invoice status in Billing Center and contact Liquid Web’s Billing team if you need help resolving it.

Know what happens at renewal or cancellation

Before subscribing, read your order and current service description for the billing term, renewal terms, and cancellation rules. Liquid Web’s general Terms of Service say orders auto-renew unless written non-renewal notice is given at least 30 days before the term ends; they also describe 30 days’ written notice for convenience termination and possible early-termination charges. The applicable order or service description takes precedence over the general terms. Those general terms say fees are otherwise non-refundable except where their terms provide otherwise, so do not assume cancelling will produce a refund.

For a Cloud VPS, bare-metal, or dedicated server, Liquid Web documents the portal path My Servers → server’s three-dot menu → Destroy Server. Destruction is irreversible: back up anything you need first, and check your order’s notice requirements rather than assuming that destroying a server alone completes every billing obligation. Closing the entire Liquid Web account requires contacting Liquid Web Support.

FAQ

Where do I add a Coinepay card to an existing Liquid Web account?

In portal.liquidweb.com, open your user avatar, then Billing Center → Payment Method → Change Method → New Card. Check AutoPay after saving the card.

Can I use my Coinepay card for a one-time Liquid Web invoice payment?

Liquid Web’s Billing Center offers Pay now for full or partial payments using another card. Check the invoice and payment status after submitting.

Why was my Liquid Web card payment declined?

Check available funds, your real billing details, any verification prompt, and any card or region requirement Liquid Web displays. If those checks do not resolve it, contact Liquid Web and Coinepay support with the actual error and order reference.

Will paying an invoice with a different card change Liquid Web AutoPay?

Do not assume it will. A one-time Pay now payment and the saved payment method are separate things to check in Billing Center.
