You can use a Coinepay virtual card to attempt payment for DonWeb hosting at checkout. This guide covers what to prepare, how DonWeb’s order flow works, and what to check if a card payment does not go through. Card acceptance depends on DonWeb’s checkout and the payment checks applied to your order.
What you need before you start
- A DonWeb account: Sign-up asks for your name, email, country, phone number and password. Your email becomes your login and notification address. Use your real identity and select your actual country.
- A verified Coinepay account: Register and complete identity verification before using Coinepay card services. You can manage your account through the self-service dashboard or mobile app.
- Your virtual card details: Coinepay provides a card number, expiry date and CVV when it issues a virtual card. Check your available funds and any applicable card settings in your Coinepay account before placing an order.
- Accurate billing information: Have the billing name, address and other details you legitimately use ready for DonWeb’s payment form. Do not substitute an address from another country to try to change the payment options shown.
DonWeb lists card payment among its methods, but the available methods follow your account’s billing country, not merely your physical location. Its country-specific payment list generally names Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit or debit cards, with additional locally listed cards in some markets. That list does not establish whether a particular Coinepay card will be accepted for your order. Check the methods displayed at your checkout; if you need to confirm card eligibility before buying, contact Coinepay support.
Choose the right DonWeb hosting order
DonWeb advertises three Web Hosting tiers: Web Hosting Personal, Web Hosting Emprendedor and Web Hosting Full+. On its US storefront, the middle tier is called Web Hosting Entrepreneur. DonWeb also sells WordPress Hosting and Cloud Server separately, so make sure you are comparing the product you intend to buy.
For a concrete comparison, the Argentine Web Hosting listing describes Personal with 20 GB of storage, no included domain or email, and weekly backups. Emprendedor lists 40 GB, a domain, 10 email accounts and weekly backups; Full+ lists 100 GB, a domain, 50 email accounts and daily backups. Included domains can vary by market, so check your country’s listing and the order summary rather than relying on another storefront’s inclusions.
DonWeb offers 1-, 12-, 24- and 48-month purchase periods on its hosting pages. A displayed monthly-equivalent price for a longer term is not necessarily a charge collected month by month. At the time of writing (October 2026), the Argentine listing showed Web Hosting Personal at ARS 11,900 for one month or ARS 3,600 per month equivalent for a 12-month purchase, with IVA included. Check DonWeb’s official pricing page and your final order for current prices, the amount due now and the renewal price: promotional purchase and renewal prices can differ. References to “free months” describe savings against paying monthly, not extra service months.
How to sign up and pay step by step
- Create or open your DonWeb account. Register with your real name, email, country, phone number and a password, then sign in. Make sure the country and billing details reflect your actual information; they affect which payment methods DonWeb presents.
- Select a product and tier. Choose Web Hosting Personal, Emprendedor or Full+ on the relevant storefront, or select another DonWeb product if that is what you need. Review the included storage, email accounts, backups and domain terms for your market.
- Decide what to do about a domain. During the hosting order, DonWeb lets you register a domain, use one you already have or decide later. Check whether your selected plan and market include a domain and whether your choice adds a charge.
- Pick the purchase period and extras. Compare the period options and remove any optional extras you do not want. Review both the immediate total and any displayed renewal terms before continuing.
- Review the order and apply a coupon if you have one. Confirm the product, domain choice, term, billing information and final amount. Advancing to payment creates a DonWeb order. If you subsequently need to change its products or period, DonWeb says to delete that order and start again; an unpaid order expires after 30 days.
- Select the available card-payment option. Open your Coinepay dashboard or app, retrieve your virtual card number, expiry date and CVV, and enter them into DonWeb’s payment form. Enter your real billing details as requested. Complete any authentication step shown by the checkout rather than refreshing or repeatedly resubmitting the payment.
- Check the result in your DonWeb account. DonWeb describes card payments as immediate, but hosting activation follows payment accreditation. If the order remains pending, check its status before attempting another payment so you do not accidentally pay twice.
You can register for Coinepay before starting if you do not yet have an account. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions; availability can depend on your jurisdiction.
Where to find invoices, pending purchases and saved cards
In DonWeb’s account area at micuenta.donweb.com, go to Pagos y Facturación → Pagar compras | Renovación to find due services, pending purchases and advance invoices. For details used on future invoices, go to Pagos y Facturación → Mis datos de facturación → Modificar mis datos. DonWeb says changing the account’s country requires its support team; do not create mismatched billing information as a workaround.
DonWeb documents Mis tarjetas de crédito / débito → Gestionar for managing associated cards in Argentina, Mexico and Peru. A new card is associated when you use it to pay rather than being added separately in advance. Do not assume that saved-card management appears in every country’s account.
What to check if your Coinepay card is declined
Insufficient balance or incorrect card details
DonWeb associates a “Payment rejected” result with an incorrect card number, expiry date or security code, as well as insufficient funds or an insufficient credit limit. Recheck the details against the card shown in Coinepay and compare your available funds with DonWeb’s full order total, especially for a multi-month term. Check the Coinepay app for any applicable card settings. If funds appear sufficient and the details are correct, contact support with the time and amount of the attempt; do not send your full card number or CVV in a support message.
Billing details do not match
DonWeb notes that a completed payment form that will not advance may reflect a billing-detail mismatch rejected by the bank. Check spelling, name and address entries against your genuine account and payment information. If your DonWeb invoice details need correcting for future invoices, use Pagos y Facturación → Mis datos de facturación → Modificar mis datos. Ask DonWeb support about an account-country correction rather than changing it to a country where you do not live.
3-D Secure or another authentication prompt
If checkout presents an authentication challenge, follow the instructions shown and allow it to finish before checking the order status. If the challenge fails, closes unexpectedly or never appears, note what you saw and ask DonWeb support whether the order is still pending. You can also contact Coinepay support about the card attempt. Do not assume an authentication prompt, or its absence, identifies the exact reason for a decline.
Merchant or regional payment checks
DonWeb’s payment choices depend on the account’s billing country, and a payment provider may apply additional checks. Confirm that card payment is offered for your real billing country and selected product. If the card option is missing or an eligible-looking payment is rejected, ask DonWeb which method applies to that order and contact Coinepay support to check the card attempt. Neither a payment-method listing nor an available card guarantees approval.
Renewal and cancellation considerations
Paying for a hosting term does not establish that the same card can be used for automatic debit. DonWeb’s documented automatic-debit setup is limited to Argentina and Colombia; its rules allow credit cards for that facility but exclude debit cards, even though debit cards may be used for one-off payments. Because this distinction matters, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets DonWeb’s automatic-debit requirement before relying on it for renewals. Also check DonWeb’s available renewal methods for your account.
If you want to cancel a service, DonWeb directs you to Mis Servicios → [service] → Gestionar → Solicitud de baja. It says cancellation can take effect immediately or within seven days, and a request can be withdrawn during the first 48 hours. Unused prepaid time is not credited. Although DonWeb advertises a 30-day money-back request on hosting pages, do not treat that as an unconditional cancellation refund: ask DonWeb support about the terms applicable to your particular service before purchasing.

FAQ
Can I add a Coinepay card to DonWeb before buying hosting?
DonWeb says a new card is associated when used for payment, not added separately beforehand. Saved-card management is documented for Argentina, Mexico and Peru.
Why is my DonWeb payment showing “Payment rejected”?
Check the card number, expiry, CVV and funds against the full order total. DonWeb also notes that mismatched billing details can prevent a completed form from advancing.
Can I pay monthly for a 12-month DonWeb plan?
Do not assume so. DonWeb’s advertised monthly-equivalent figure for a 12-month purchase is not necessarily a monthly-billed price; check the amount due at checkout.
Will my Coinepay card work for DonWeb automatic renewal?
Do not rely on it without checking. DonWeb documents automatic debit only for Argentina and Colombia and restricts that facility to specified payment types. Ask Coinepay support to confirm card eligibility.
