VEED is a browser-based video editor and AI creation tool used for subtitles, screen recording, and short-form content. If you want a paid plan but prefer to keep your main bank card separate from online subscriptions, a Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV you can use at VEED's checkout. This guide walks through what you need, how to sign up and upgrade, and what to do if a payment is declined.
What you need before you start
VEED runs its web and Android checkout on Stripe, which accepts major debit and credit cards. Before you pay, make sure you have:
- A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification (KYC) before you can use card services.
- A Coinepay virtual card created in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app, with its card number, expiry and CVV ready to copy.
- Enough balance on the card to cover the plan you choose. Annual plans are billed upfront in a single charge, not in monthly instalments, so a yearly plan needs the full year's amount available at once.
- Your real billing details — the name, address and country tied to your identity. VEED's payment check can fail if the billing address does not match your card record.
VEED notes that PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay appear only in certain countries. VEED does not publish a card-network-by-network acceptance list for its checkout, and whether any particular merchant accepts a given card is something we cannot confirm for you. If you want to be sure before you buy, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets VEED's requirements.
VEED plans at a glance
VEED's main product has five tiers: Free, Creator, Pro, Studio and Enterprise. Enterprise is custom-priced and requires a sales conversation. Paid plans are charged per editor seat, so inviting another editor adds a charge. VEED Lite is a separate iOS app and subscription, not a tier of the main product.
At the time of writing (October 2026), third-party readings of VEED's pricing page recorded US monthly billing around Creator $25, Pro $45 and Studio $79 per user, with annual billing at $147, $265 and $465 per year. Euro readings were close to Creator €22/month, Pro €47/month and Studio €76/month. These snapshots could not be verified against today's live checkout, so treat them only as a rough guide and check the current figure on VEED's official pricing page. VEED shows your local currency where available, otherwise USD, and the price displayed at checkout is the one that applies.
In India, VEED says it offers annual plans only — not monthly billing — citing Reserve Bank of India regulations. If you are subscribing from India, expect to see yearly pricing.
Step 1: Create your VEED account
Go to veed.io and sign up using Google, Apple, Microsoft, or a work email. You can start on the Free plan and upgrade whenever you are ready. Only the workspace owner can purchase or upgrade a plan — if you try to upgrade without that role, VEED shows the message "Only the workspace owner can upgrade." That is a permission message, not a card problem.
Step 2: Create or top up your Coinepay virtual card
Open the Coinepay app (iOS or Android) or the web dashboard, create a virtual card, and make sure it holds enough to cover the plan and billing period you intend to choose. Keep the card number, expiry date and CVV handy. Everything is managed from the 24/7 self-service dashboard, so you can top up or check your balance at any time before you check out.
Step 3: Open Workspace Billing in VEED
On web or Android, the workspace owner upgrades through this path:
- Click your profile picture.
- Select your workspace name.
- Go to Workspace Settings.
- Open Workspace Billing.
- Click Upgrade.
Workspace Billing is also where you manage payment methods and download invoices later. If you subscribe through the VEED iOS app instead, the purchase goes through the Apple App Store and is managed under your device's Settings → Apple account → Subscriptions — Coinepay card steps in this guide apply to the web/Android Stripe checkout.
Step 4: Choose a plan and billing period
Select Creator, Pro or Studio, then pick monthly or annual billing. Remember that annual is paid upfront as one charge, and that each additional editor seat adds to the total. On Android, the Creator, Pro and Studio plans come with a fixed AI-credit allowance, unlike the web experience, which offers a credit selector.
Step 5: Enter your Coinepay card details
At the payment step, enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV, and the billing name, address and country that match your identity details. Confirm the price shown, then complete the purchase. If your card is enrolled in 3-D Secure, you may be asked to approve the charge — complete that step in your Coinepay app to authenticate. After a successful purchase, VEED sends a confirmation email.
Troubleshooting: why a VEED payment might be declined
VEED lists bank declines (including security blocks), incomplete 3-D Secure authentication, outdated card details, and a payment method unsupported in your region as common reasons a payment fails. Here is how to work through each:
Insufficient balance
Because annual plans charge the full amount at once, a card without enough balance will be declined. Check your Coinepay balance in the app and top up to cover the exact price shown at checkout, including any additional seats, then retry.
Billing address mismatch
Use the real name, address and country on your Coinepay account. If the billing details you type into VEED do not match what Coinepay holds, the charge can fail. Correct the details and try again rather than guessing — never use a fake address.
3-D Secure not completed
If authentication is required and the prompt is missed or cancelled, the payment won't go through. Keep your Coinepay app open during checkout so you can approve the request, then start the upgrade again.
Outdated card details or a security block
Double-check the card number, expiry and CVV are entered correctly. If your card or account triggers a security block, review the card status in Coinepay. If you cannot see why the card is being blocked, reach Coinepay support or ask on Telegram.
Region or method not supported
VEED enables certain payment methods only in certain countries, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction. If a payment method is unsupported in your region, try the standard card checkout. Do not use a VPN or false location to get around regional checks — use your real details and contact support if you are unsure.
VEED also advises that if a charge may have succeeded, you should check your transaction history and plan status before retrying, so you don't pay twice.
Managing, cancelling and refunds
Web and Android customers cancel in Workspace Billing → Turn off auto-renewal and must finish the short questionnaire, then watch for VEED's confirmation email. Cancel at least two business days before renewal to avoid the next charge; your access continues to the end of the paid period, and cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund.
VEED's terms offer a full refund to a consumer who cancels within the first 14 days and has never used the services — note that uploading, editing or adding subtitles counts as use. The terms also provide a pro-rata refund of unused prepaid time if you cancel after a material, non-minor service change. Refund requests for iOS App Store purchases go to Apple, not VEED.
Once your subscription renews, make sure your Coinepay card still has enough balance ahead of each renewal date so an annual or monthly charge isn't declined.

FAQ
Can I use a Coinepay virtual card to pay for VEED?
VEED's web and Android checkout runs on Stripe and accepts major debit and credit cards, and your Coinepay virtual card provides a card number, expiry and CVV you can enter there. VEED does not publish a network-by-network acceptance list, and whether a specific card works at a given merchant can't be guaranteed. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets VEED's requirements before you buy.
Where do I upgrade my VEED plan?
On web or Android, the workspace owner clicks the profile picture, then the workspace name, then Workspace Settings, then Workspace Billing, then Upgrade. If you see "Only the workspace owner can upgrade," ask the owner to make the purchase — that message is a permission issue, not a card decline.
Why was my VEED payment declined?
VEED lists bank declines or security blocks, incomplete 3-D Secure authentication, outdated card details, and a payment method unsupported in your region as common causes. Check your Coinepay balance, confirm your billing address matches your account, complete any 3-D Secure prompt in the Coinepay app, and verify the card number, expiry and CVV before retrying.
Do I need enough balance for the whole year on an annual plan?
Yes. VEED charges annual plans upfront as a single payment rather than monthly instalments, and each editor seat adds to the total. Top up your Coinepay card to cover the full amount shown at checkout before you confirm.
How do I cancel VEED and can I get a refund?
Web and Android users turn off auto-renewal in Workspace Billing and complete the questionnaire, cancelling at least two business days before renewal. Cancelling alone doesn't refund you, but VEED's terms offer a full refund within 14 days if you've never used the service, and App Store purchases are refunded through Apple.
