Artlist is a royalty-free music, sound effects, footage and AI creative-asset platform used by video editors, marketers and content creators. If you want to subscribe without tying the payment to your main bank card, a Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV you can enter at Artlist's checkout. This guide walks through what you need, how to sign up and pay, and what to check if a card is declined.

What you need before you start

  • A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification (KYC) before you can use card services. If you haven't done this yet, create your account and finish KYC first.
  • A Coinepay virtual card with enough available balance to cover the full term. Artlist bills upfront for the entire monthly or yearly period you choose, plus any applicable local taxes shown at checkout.
  • Your real billing details. Use the name and billing address that match your Coinepay account and identity, since Artlist and your card issuer may check that the billing address matches.
  • Your card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can view in the Coinepay app (iOS / Android) or the web dashboard.

Artlist lists credit card, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay as payment methods, and notes that available methods can vary by location. Paying by card is the most direct route for a virtual card. Artlist does not enumerate which card brands or prepaid cards it accepts, so if you are unsure whether your card will work, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets any requirement before you buy.

Choosing an Artlist plan

Artlist groups its paid plans into several families. Knowing which one you want before checkout avoids re-selecting mid-flow.

  • AI Suite tiers include AI Starter, AI Core, AI Creator, AI Professional and AI Pro Plus, each bundling a monthly credit allowance.
  • Stock Catalog plans include Music & SFX Social, Music Pro, Music & SFX Pro, Sound Effects Pro and Footage & Templates.
  • Artlist Max combines creative assets and credits in one plan, with Max Business and Custom Business options for larger teams.
  • Team plans such as Music Teams, Music & SFX Teams and Max Teams.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Artlist's pricing view displayed US-dollar figures such as AI Starter at $19.99 monthly (or $11.99/month billed annually) with 16,500 credits, AI Core at $39.99 monthly (or $23.99/month billed annually), and Music & SFX Social at $14.99/month (or $9.99/month billed annually). These are displayed prices, not confirmed checkout totals, and local-currency prices were not verified. Always check the current figure on Artlist's official pricing page, since prices and plan names vary by region and change over time.

Step-by-step: subscribe and pay

  1. Open Artlist's pricing page. Go to artlist.io and open the plan family you want (AI Suite, Stock Catalog or Artlist Max).
  2. Select your plan and billing cycle. Choose monthly or annual. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year.
  3. Create your account. If you don't already have one, sign up with your email. A free trial may be offered depending on the plan.
  4. Re-select or customize your plan. After creating the account, Artlist asks you to confirm or fine-tune the plan you want.
  5. Enter payment and billing details. Choose the card option and type your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV. Enter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account.
  6. Review the checkout total. The amount due, including any local taxes, is shown here and can differ from the headline price. Confirm it fits your card balance.
  7. Complete Purchase. If prompted, approve any 3-D Secure confirmation. Once the charge is authorized, your plan activates.

After purchase, you can manage everything under the profile icon → My Account → Billing section. Update payment details changes your saved card, and Subscription details holds your plan and renewal controls.

If your card is declined

Artlist describes checkout problems as general processing errors (including timeouts or connection issues), incorrect or incomplete card details, fraud alerts and bank declines. It suggests checking your billing details, clearing your browser cache, allowing pop-ups, trying another method, and asking your card issuer about a decline. Work through these common causes:

Insufficient balance

Because Artlist charges the full term upfront, your virtual card needs enough to cover the whole monthly or annual amount plus tax, not just one month. Top up your Coinepay card in the app and retry.

Billing address mismatch

If the billing address you typed doesn't match what's on file for your card, the charge can be rejected. Re-enter the exact address and name linked to your Coinepay account, with no typos in the postal code.

3-D Secure / verification step

Some transactions trigger an extra confirmation. Check the Coinepay app for an approval prompt or notification and complete it promptly so the payment doesn't time out.

Incorrect or incomplete card details

Double-check the card number, expiry and CVV against what's shown in your Coinepay dashboard. A single wrong digit will cause a decline.

Fraud alerts and bank declines

A new online subscription can trip a fraud filter. If the charge keeps failing, review any alerts in the Coinepay app, or contact Coinepay support to check whether anything is blocking the transaction on the card side.

Merchant region checks

Artlist describes its license as worldwide except that it will not provide services to sanctioned countries or listed persons. Payment methods and pricing can also vary by location, and Artlist says currency cannot be changed on the website without contacting its support. If your checkout appears region-restricted, use your genuine details and location — don't attempt to disguise where you are.

A pending authorization on your card does not by itself confirm the subscription payment succeeded. Check that your Artlist account shows the plan as active before assuming you're subscribed.

Managing renewals and cancellation

Artlist subscriptions renew automatically. To stop renewal, go to the Artlist AI Tools area, then your avatar → My Account → Billing → Subscription details → Cancel renewal. Access continues through the term you already paid for. Note that purchase orders and bank transfers are not accepted for standard site subscriptions — those are offered only for Enterprise plans.

Artlist's refund policy, for both initial purchases and renewals, generally requires a request within 14 calendar days with no assets downloaded or generated; assets used or published in a project are excluded. If you need a refund back to your Coinepay card, request it with Artlist directly, as Coinepay cannot reverse a merchant charge on your behalf.

A note on separating spending

If you run multiple subscriptions or ad accounts, Coinepay lets businesses issue a dedicated virtual card per account with custom spending limits, which makes it easier to track what Artlist costs each cycle. You can create and manage cards anytime from the 24/7 dashboard or the mobile app. For help, reach Coinepay via support or Telegram.

FAQ

Can I use a Coinepay virtual card to pay for Artlist?

Artlist lists credit card as a payment method, so you can enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry and CVV at checkout. Artlist does not publish which card brands or prepaid cards it accepts, so if you're unsure, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets any requirement before you buy.

How much do I need on my card to subscribe?

Artlist bills the full term upfront — a whole month or a whole year — plus any applicable local taxes shown at checkout. Make sure your Coinepay card balance covers the full amount, not just one month, before you confirm.

Why was my Artlist payment declined?

Common causes are insufficient balance for the full term, a billing address that doesn't match your card, an incomplete 3-D Secure confirmation, mistyped card details, or a bank/fraud block. Check your details and the Coinepay app for any approval prompt, then retry or contact support.

How do I change the card Artlist charges?

Go to the profile icon → My Account → Billing, then use Update payment details to replace the saved card. Renewal controls are under Subscription details in the same Billing section.

Can I get a refund to my Coinepay card?

Artlist's stated policy allows a refund request within 14 calendar days if no assets were downloaded or generated, with some exclusions. Request it through Artlist directly; Coinepay cannot reverse a merchant charge for you.
