Wondershare Filmora is a popular video editor for Windows and Mac, sold through the Wondershare online store. If you want to pay for it with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the Filmora checkout works, and what to do when a card is declined. Filmora lists card payments among its accepted methods, but availability depends on your checkout country, so check the Coinepay app for your card details before you buy.

Before you start

Make sure you have the following ready:

  • A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification (KYC) before you can create and use a virtual card. Card issuance is handled by Coinepay's licensed partner institutions.
  • An active virtual card with its card number, expiry date and CVV, which you can view in the iOS or Android app, plus enough balance to cover the plan total including tax.
  • A Wondershare ID. You sign in with a Wondershare ID to activate Filmora, so use an email you control and keep it consistent with your purchase.
  • Your real billing details, matching the information on your Coinepay account. Always use your genuine identity and address.

Choose a Filmora plan

The Filmora desktop pricing page lists five individual tiers: Free, Basic, Advanced, Perpetual and Premium. The Free tier exports video with a watermark, while the paid tiers remove it and add features. There is also Business licensing, with a "For Teams" option for 1–5 users and "For Enterprise" custom pricing for larger groups. Students purchase through Student Beans, and larger educator orders are routed to sales.

At the time of writing (October 2026), US figures on the pricing page showed Basic at US$49.99/year, Advanced at US$59.99/year, Perpetual at US$79.99 one-time and Premium at US$99.99/year, while "For Teams" showed US$155.88 per user one-time. Prices vary by region and the page view listing these still referenced an earlier Filmora version, so treat them as a guide only and confirm the current amount for your country on the official Filmora pricing page before you pay.

Mobile purchases are different: Filmora in-app purchases on iPhone or Android are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not the desktop website checkout, so a card has to be set as your store payment method there instead.

Step-by-step: paying on the desktop website

  1. Open the Filmora store. On the official Wondershare Filmora site, pick the Windows or Mac version and the tier you want, then select Buy Now.
  2. Review the cart. Filmora notes that the purchase-page price normally excludes tax, so the cart shows the final order amount. Check that total before you continue, and confirm your Coinepay balance covers it.
  3. Watch for add-ons. Checkout may offer an optional Filmora Creative Assets seven-day trial. This is a separate subscription that starts charging after the trial unless you cancel it, so deselect it if you do not want it.
  4. Sign in or create a Wondershare ID using the email you want tied to the purchase.
  5. Choose the card payment option. Filmora lists credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, local payments, WePay, Alipay and LINE Pay; the exact options shown depend on your selected checkout country/region.
  6. Enter your Coinepay card details: card number, expiry date, CVV and the billing name and address that match your account.
  7. Complete any 3-D Secure step. If an extra verification prompt appears, approve it in the Coinepay app or follow the confirmation method shown.
  8. Confirm and save your receipt. After payment, sign in to Filmora with your Wondershare ID to activate it.

Where to manage billing after you pay

Subscription and order management lives in your Wondershare Account Center:

  • Plan & Products → My Subscriptions → Manage Plan to view or change a subscription.
  • My Orders → Order History to find orders and submit refund requests.

A one-time Perpetual license will not appear under My Subscriptions; it is listed among your managed products instead, which is normal. If a subscription looks empty after you paid, check that you are signed in with the same email used for the purchase. Note that Filmora says stored card details are held by its third-party payment platform and cannot be removed separately without deleting the account, so manage your card itself from the Coinepay side.

Troubleshooting a declined card

Filmora's help pages describe failed payments rather than publishing a fixed list of error messages, and a failed payment does not activate your subscription. Common causes and fixes:

Insufficient balance

The order total includes tax, which can push it above the price you first saw. Top up your Coinepay card so it covers the full cart amount, then retry. Check your current balance in the app.

Expired or incorrect card details

Re-enter the card number, expiry and CVV exactly as shown in the Coinepay app, and make sure the card is still active.

Billing address or information mismatch

Incorrect or outdated billing information is a documented failure reason. Enter the billing name and address that match your Coinepay account, with no typos.

3-D Secure / security authentication

If a verification challenge fails or times out, restart checkout and complete the prompt promptly in the Coinepay app.

Card limits

A per-card spending limit can block a charge. If you set a custom limit on this card, raise it in the Coinepay dashboard to at least the order total.

Region and payment-method checks

Available payment methods vary by the checkout country/region you select, and an unsupported local payment method or a store-account region mismatch can stop a purchase. On mobile, your Apple or Google store region must match your location. Use your real country; do not attempt to disguise your location. If you are unsure whether your card suits the checkout country you are using, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before you buy.

If a charge still fails after these checks, contact Coinepay support or reach us on Telegram to confirm your card status, and contact Wondershare support for Filmora-side account help.

Cancellations and refunds

Desktop subscriptions renew automatically. To avoid the next charge, cancel in Account Center; Wondershare's refund policy advises cancelling at least 24 hours before a trial or billing period ends. Direct Wondershare purchases generally have a 30-day window to request a refund, subject to eligibility, while change of mind, consumed credits and an uncancelled renewal are generally not sufficient reasons. Purchases made through the App Store, Google Play or a reseller must be refunded through that original seller. EU residents may have a 14-day withdrawal right, subject to digital-content exceptions. Cancelling only stops future Filmora charges; it does not affect your Coinepay card itself.

A note on versions

Filmora's current help center covers Filmora 16. A perpetual plan bought before June 24, 2026 does not include the version-16 upgrade, while eligible later purchases and active subscriptions can upgrade without an additional charge. Separately, Filmstock stopped homepage access and new subscription purchases on September 30, 2026, though existing auto-renewing Filmstock subscriptions and Filmora desktop resources remain available.

FAQ

Does Filmora accept virtual cards?

Filmora lists credit and debit cards among its accepted payment methods, with the options shown depending on your checkout country. Whether a specific card works at a specific merchant is not something anyone can guarantee in advance, so confirm your card details in the Coinepay app and contact Coinepay support if you have questions before buying.

Why was my Coinepay card declined at Filmora checkout?

Common causes are insufficient balance for the tax-inclusive total, an expired card, incorrect or outdated billing information, a failed 3-D Secure step, a per-card spending limit, or a region/payment-method mismatch. Fix the relevant item and retry, or contact Coinepay support.

Can I pay for the Filmora mobile app with my virtual card?

Filmora mobile purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not the desktop website checkout. You would need to set a card as your store payment method, and your store region must match your location.

Where do I manage my Filmora subscription and billing?

Use the Wondershare Account Center: Plan & Products → My Subscriptions → Manage Plan for subscriptions, and My Orders → Order History for orders and refund requests. A Perpetual license appears among managed products rather than subscriptions.

How do I avoid an unexpected Filmora charge?

Deselect the optional Filmora Creative Assets seven-day trial at checkout if you do not want it, since it is a separate subscription that charges after the trial. For auto-renewing plans, cancel in Account Center, ideally at least 24 hours before the billing period ends.
