If you want to subscribe to Aura’s digital-security and identity-protection service, you can enter virtual card details at its website checkout. First, check whether the plan’s features are available where you live and whether your card meets Aura’s payment requirements. This guide covers Aura at aura.com, not other services with the same name.
Before you start
Aura’s public plans are Individual, Couple, Family, and Kids. Each advertises a 14-day free trial through a Start free trial link; Aura says the trial offer can be redeemed once per customer. Compare the coverage before choosing: Individual covers one adult, Couple covers two adults, Family covers up to five adults and unlimited children, and Kids covers unlimited children and devices.
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | US$12/month, US$144 upfront | US$15/month |
| Couple | US$22/month, US$264 upfront | US$29/month |
| Family | US$32/month, US$384 upfront | US$50/month |
| Kids | US$10/month, US$120 upfront | US$13/month |
These are U.S. prices at the time of writing (October 2026). Check Aura’s official pricing page for current offers and the amount shown at checkout. Annual billing means paying the annual amount upfront, not making twelve smaller monthly payments. A free trial can also lead to a charge if you do not cancel before the applicable billing date.
Check availability before entering payment details. Aura says fraud protection, credit monitoring, and parental controls are available only to users based in the United States. It lists antivirus availability in Canada on Windows, macOS, and Android. Do not assume a U.S. plan’s features are available in another country; check Aura’s current eligibility information for your location and use your real identity and billing details.
You will need an Aura account, a suitable plan, and a payment card with enough available balance for the amount that may be charged. To use Coinepay card services, register and complete identity verification first. Coinepay then provides a virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV in its app or 24/7 self-service dashboard. Check your available balance and the relevant card details there before starting checkout.
Aura’s terms call for a valid credit or debit card and accurate card and billing information. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets Aura’s credit-or-debit-card requirement before you buy. Do not assume that having a card number alone establishes eligibility or that Aura will accept a particular payment attempt.
How to sign up and pay on Aura’s website
- Open Aura’s official pricing page. Review the Individual, Couple, Family, and Kids options, including what each covers. Select the plan that fits your needs and use its Start free trial link if you are eligible for that offer.
- Create or access your Aura account. Follow the on-screen prompts and provide your real account and billing information. The precise order of screens for a new customer may change, so follow the checkout shown to you rather than looking for a particular button on every screen.
- Check the billing choice and total. If offered monthly and annual billing, confirm which you selected. Review the trial terms, first charge date, amount due, and renewal information displayed before submitting anything.
- Enter your Coinepay virtual card details. Copy the card number, expiry date, and CVV from the Coinepay app or dashboard into Aura’s payment fields. Enter the billing information accurately; do not substitute an address to try to change regional eligibility.
- Complete any payment verification and review the result. Respond to an authentication prompt if one appears. Submit the checkout only after checking the amount and terms, then look for confirmation from Aura before treating the subscription as active.
For a previously closed account, Aura documents a more specific reactivation flow: sign in, choose a plan, choose monthly or annual billing, enter billing information, and select Complete. That reactivation sequence should not be assumed to be the exact screen sequence for every new subscription.
What to check if your card is declined
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Aura says a declined payment can contribute to account closure and that it may retry a declined card or suspend or terminate a subscription if payment is not received. Avoid repeatedly submitting checkout without first checking these possibilities:
- Insufficient available balance: Compare the card’s available balance in Coinepay with the full amount Aura is trying to charge. An annual selection is charged upfront, even when its price is displayed as a monthly equivalent. Check the final checkout amount rather than relying on the pricing-page headline.
- Billing information mismatch: Recheck the card number, expiry, CVV, name, and billing details you entered. Use accurate information associated with your payment method. If you cannot determine which billing information to use, ask Coinepay support before retrying.
- Authentication or 3-D Secure: If checkout asks you to verify the payment, follow the prompt and return to Aura to check whether the transaction completed. If a prompt fails to load or verification fails, check your Coinepay app or dashboard and contact support; do not assume the charge succeeded.
- Aura’s card or regional checks: Aura’s terms specify a valid credit or debit card, and its features have location-based limits. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the stated card requirement, and ask Aura about an eligibility or payment restriction shown at checkout. Changing your address or location details is not a remedy.
- Payment blocked or account status: Check the card’s status and transaction information in Coinepay. If Aura indicates your account has closed following a failed payment, sign in and follow its reactivation instructions or contact Aura support about the account.
Keep any exact message or transaction reference displayed at checkout when contacting support. Aura has not published a standard set of card-decline messages that would let you diagnose every failure from wording alone.
Manage renewal, cancellation, and refunds
For a subscription bought on Aura’s website, sign in and open the gear icon → Membership to review billing information, your plan, and the renewal date. You can cancel through the Membership page or by phone. Aura’s terms say to cancel at least one day before the next billing cycle. Cancellation stops renewal; ordinary access continues through the end of a paid term. Subscriptions generally renew automatically and are billed in advance unless canceled.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store instead, handle cancellation through that store, not Aura’s website. Keep the purchase channel in mind if you need billing help or want to assess refund eligibility.
Aura’s 60-day money-back guarantee is limited to eligible initial annual purchases made through its website or support team, excluding Amazon purchases. It does not apply to monthly or third-party-billed subscriptions, and subsequent annual renewals do not qualify for a full refund under that guarantee. To pursue an eligible refund, cancel online and call Aura at 1-833-552-2123 to request it. For a trial user, Aura’s refund policy says the 60-day window starts on the trial sign-up date, so do not count 60 days from a later charge.
Before renewing, revisit Membership and any notice Aura sends about billing. Aura’s terms also allow a yearly subscription to switch to monthly billing at renewal with at least ten days’ notice, subject to the condition stated in its terms. Checking the renewal date and amount gives you time to decide whether to continue and to ensure your payment details are current.

FAQ
Can I use a Coinepay virtual card for an Aura free trial?
Aura advertises a 14-day trial on its public plans, redeemable once per customer. Its terms require a valid credit or debit card; contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets that requirement before signing up.
Why does Aura show a larger charge than the monthly price I selected?
Check whether you selected annual billing. Aura displays annual prices as monthly equivalents but charges the annual total upfront. Review the amount at checkout.
Where can I find my Aura renewal date?
On Aura’s website, sign in and go to the gear icon → Membership to view your plan, billing information, and renewal date.
Does Aura’s 60-day guarantee apply after a free trial?
It may apply to an eligible initial annual purchase through Aura’s website or support team, but the policy says a trial user’s 60-day window begins at trial sign-up. Monthly and third-party-billed subscriptions are excluded.
