Meta Verified is Meta's paid subscription that adds a verified badge and related support to eligible Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business accounts. If you want to pay with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how checkout works for each account type, and how to work through a declined payment. Prices and plan availability vary by region and account, so always confirm the current figures on Meta's own pages before you buy.
Before you start: what you need
Meta Verified has separate tracks, and they are not one combined catalogue:
- Meta Verified for creators — for a supported personal or creator account that meets Meta's age and location requirements, with a government-issued photo ID. Meta permits up to one Instagram and one Facebook profile in the same Accounts Center.
- Meta Verified for businesses — Meta's published business tiers are Meta Verified Business Standard, Business Plus, Business Premium and Business Max. Seeing four published tiers does not mean every account can buy all four; plans and benefits can be limited by business and location.
On the Coinepay side, you'll need a funded virtual card and a completed profile:
- Register with Coinepay and finish identity verification (KYC). You can do this from the Coinepay website or by creating an account at registration.
- Create a virtual card in the Coinepay dashboard or app so you have the card number, expiry date and CVV ready.
- Make sure the card has enough balance to cover the plan plus any applicable tax for your region.
- Install the iOS app or Android app so you can check your balance and card details while you're at checkout.
Services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction. Card issuance is handled by licensed partner financial institutions.
How much does Meta Verified cost?
Prices depend heavily on your country, account type and the asset you are subscribing. At the time of writing (October 2026) current checkout prices were not confirmed in our research. Older, region-specific figures from Meta's launch materials — for example business subscriptions that started around ₹639/month in India, or a US creator Standard listing near $14.99/month in a late-2024 archive — are historical and should not be treated as today's price.
Because of this, open the subscription flow for your own account to see the exact amount, or check Meta's official Meta Verified page. Note also that in September 2026 Meta introduced a separately named subscription called Meta One; that is a different offering with its own names and prices and is not the same thing as the Meta Verified Business tiers.
Step-by-step: subscribe and pay
Facebook or Instagram (creator)
- Open the Facebook or Instagram app on the profile you want verified and go to the Meta Verified entry in settings.
- Confirm you meet the eligibility, age and location requirements, then start the subscription process.
- Choose the asset (profile) you're subscribing and review the price shown for your account.
- At the payment step, select card and enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Enter the billing details that match your Coinepay account, then confirm the purchase.
- Complete identity verification with your government-issued photo ID when prompted.
Facebook or Instagram (business)
- Begin onboarding from the in-app professional dashboard or Meta's Meta Verified marketing page.
- Check eligibility, then pick an individual app or, where offered, a bundle.
- Enter your Coinepay virtual card details at checkout and confirm.
WhatsApp Business
- Open WhatsApp Business and go to Settings or Business Tools → Meta Verified.
- Select a plan and tap to pay with your card.
- Submitting payment also submits your application for review, which Meta says can take up to three business days or longer.
Meta manages Meta Pay payment methods and transaction history in Accounts Center, but whether a saved Meta Pay method or specific card networks appear at a particular Meta Verified checkout is not something we can confirm for every plan or region. If the merchant restricts card types or the card's issuing country, that restriction applies regardless of the provider. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets any such requirement before you buy.
If your card is declined
Some subscribers see a generic message such as "payment failed" or "Your payment didn't go through. You may need to try again." after tapping Pay now. A generic failure alone does not tell you the cause — it is not proof of insufficient funds, an unsupported network, a bank block or a Meta restriction. Work through the common causes below one at a time.
| Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|
| Insufficient balance | Open the Coinepay app and confirm the card has enough to cover the plan plus any tax. Top up and retry. |
| Billing address mismatch | Enter the exact billing details tied to your Coinepay account. A mismatch between the name or address on file and what you type can trigger a decline. |
| 3-D Secure / verification step | If an extra confirmation is required, complete it promptly in the Coinepay app. Check your app for a prompt or notification and finish it before the session times out. |
| Merchant region or account checks | Meta limits availability by account and location. If Meta Verified doesn't appear in your app at all, it isn't currently available to that account. |
| Card type / network accepted | If checkout only shows certain methods or card networks, your card must match. Ask Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement. |
If a retry still fails, wait a short while and try again rather than repeating the attempt many times in a row. Check your Coinepay transaction history to confirm whether any amount was authorised, and reach out to Coinepay support or the Coinepay Telegram if you need help confirming the card is working. For issues on Meta's side — eligibility, review status or the checkout itself — contact Meta support.
Managing, cancelling and refunds
For an active WhatsApp Business subscription, the documented route to payment and subscription controls is Tools → Meta Verified → Enhanced Support → Meta Verified account → Manage subscription. Meta says WhatsApp Business subscription support ends after the current billing cycle once you cancel.
For creator subscriptions, Meta says a refund may be available if verification is not completed within three days or Meta cannot verify your identity; cancelling after successful verification does not qualify, and Meta gives no partial refund or credit for cancellation. Eligible creator refunds for purchases made directly on Instagram or Facebook desktop are processed automatically, and Meta says processing can take up to 60 days. Business refund terms differ and are directed to separate Meta help, so don't assume the creator rules apply to a business purchase.
Whatever tier you choose, read the current terms in the Meta Verified flow before you confirm, and keep your Coinepay card funded if you want the subscription to renew without interruption.

FAQ
Can I use a Coinepay virtual card to pay for Meta Verified?
You can enter a Coinepay virtual card's number, expiry and CVV at the Meta Verified card checkout. Acceptance depends on Meta's checkout for your plan and region and on your billing details matching your Coinepay account. If checkout limits card types, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before you buy.
How much does Meta Verified cost?
Prices vary by country, account type and the asset you subscribe, and current checkout prices were not confirmed in our research. Start the subscription flow for your own account to see the exact amount, or check Meta's official Meta Verified page.
Why did my Meta Verified payment fail?
A generic message like "payment failed" doesn't name a cause. Check your Coinepay balance, make sure your billing details match your account, complete any 3-D Secure prompt in the Coinepay app, and confirm Meta Verified is available to your account and location. Then retry.
Where do I manage or cancel my Meta Verified subscription?
In WhatsApp Business, go to Tools → Meta Verified → Enhanced Support → Meta Verified account → Manage subscription. For Facebook or Instagram, manage it from the Meta Verified section in your account settings. Review Meta's refund terms before cancelling.
Do I need to verify my identity with Coinepay before paying?
Yes. You must register and complete Coinepay's identity verification (KYC) before using card services, then create and fund a virtual card. Meta separately requires a government-issued photo ID to complete Meta Verified.
