You can try a Coinepay virtual card at ASOS checkout for an order or an ASOS Premier delivery subscription. First, check the ASOS country site, delivery address and payment options for your purchase: an option listed in ASOS help pages may not appear for every order. This guide covers preparation, checkout and what to check if a payment is declined.
What you need before paying
- A Coinepay account and virtual card. Register and complete identity verification before using Coinepay card services. Your virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV, available through the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app.
- Enough available funds. Check the order total shown at checkout, including delivery and any other displayed charges, before paying. For Premier, also check the subscription term and any renewal choice shown during sign-up.
- Accurate account and billing information. Use your real name and billing details. Enter the billing address associated with your payment details accurately; do not change your country or address to try to bypass an ASOS restriction.
- An eligible delivery address. ASOS shows the delivery and payment choices available for the particular order and address. Premier benefits depend on the country site where you buy the subscription and the eligible delivery area.
Start at Coinepay registration if you do not have an account. You can also manage your account in the Coinepay iOS app or Android app. Check the app for your card’s current details and available funds before opening ASOS checkout.
Decide whether you need an order or ASOS Premier
You do not need a delivery subscription to buy clothing or other items on ASOS. An ordinary order can be placed through guest checkout where ASOS offers it. ASOS Premier is a paid delivery subscription and requires an ASOS account. It is separate from ASOS.WORLD, ASOS’s free-to-join rewards programme; buying UK Premier also enrols you in ASOS.WORLD.
Premier pricing and terms depend on the country site. At the time of writing (October 2026), the UK Premier help page lists 3 months for £4.95 or 12 months for £9.95; the US page lists US $19.99 per year. Promotions and local terms can change, so check the ASOS Premier page for your country and the amount at checkout before confirming.
Premier is not a universal shipping upgrade. The US offer applies to qualifying mainland-US addresses, and the Australian offer specifies mainland Australian customers. Faster delivery can be limited by postcode, and items shipped by ASOS Brand Partners are excluded from Premier benefits. Check your selected items and delivery address rather than assuming the subscription will benefit every order.
How to pay for an ASOS order
- Prepare your card. Sign in to Coinepay, complete identity verification if needed, and check your virtual card number, expiry date, CVV and available funds in the dashboard or app.
- Shop on the appropriate ASOS country site. Add your items to the bag, then proceed to checkout. Sign in, create an ASOS account or choose guest checkout if ASOS offers it for your order.
- Enter your real delivery details. Review the delivery choices and full order total. ASOS determines the options available for that order and address at checkout.
- Choose an available card-payment option. Enter your Coinepay card details and your accurate billing address. Follow any authentication request displayed during checkout. Do not assume a payment method listed on an ASOS help page will necessarily appear for your basket.
- Review and submit. Check the amount, address and delivery option once more before placing the order. Look for ASOS’s order confirmation rather than treating an attempted card charge as proof that the order was placed.
ASOS lists several ways to pay for orders, with differences by market. Its UK list includes Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Clearpay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and Klarna; the US and Australian lists differ. These are ASOS order-payment lists, not a promise that any particular virtual card will be accepted. For example, ASOS says American Express is unavailable for an order both sold and shipped by an ASOS Brand Partner. Use the options actually shown at your checkout.
How to buy ASOS Premier
- Sign in to your ASOS account. Premier cannot be bought through guest checkout. If you are new to ASOS, create an account using your real details.
- Find Premier. On the ASOS site, go to My Account → ASOS Premier. ASOS also lets customers add Premier to the bag during checkout or buy it through its Premier purchase page.
- Check your market’s offer. Read the displayed term, price, eligible delivery area and renewal terms. If you add Premier while placing an order, check which items and delivery options qualify.
- Pay at checkout. If an appropriate card-payment option appears, enter your Coinepay virtual card details and accurate billing information, then complete any requested authentication. Confirm only after reviewing the final charge and terms.
- Check your account. ASOS says Premier applies to the purchase order, although activation on your account can take up to one hour. If the order is confirmed but the account view has not updated immediately, allow for that activation period before contacting ASOS Customer Care.
Do not treat ASOS’s list of payment methods for ordinary orders as a confirmed list of methods eligible for recurring Premier billing. In the UK, an end-of-term Premier payment is taken if you agree to auto-renewal at sign-up; ASOS says gift cards and vouchers cannot pay for a recurring Premier subscription through Stripe. Review the payment and renewal terms presented for your country before purchasing.
If ASOS declines your Coinepay card
Do not repeatedly submit unchanged details. ASOS says a declined order cannot be reinstated: after resolving the issue, you must place the order again. Work through these checks first:
- Insufficient available funds: Compare the available amount shown in Coinepay with the full ASOS checkout total, not just the item price. Check any displayed delivery charge and, for Premier, the subscription amount. If the funds appear sufficient but the payment still fails, ask Coinepay support to help investigate the card attempt.
- Incorrect card or billing details: Recheck the card number, expiry date and CVV against the current details in Coinepay. ASOS specifically identifies incorrect expiry dates, billing addresses and security codes as details to investigate. Correct genuine errors; do not substitute someone else’s address.
- 3D Secure authentication: If an authentication step appears, complete it as directed and return to checkout. ASOS identifies failed 3D Secure authentication as a possible reason for decline. If you could not complete the step or it failed, contact Coinepay support with the time and amount of the attempt; ASOS Customer Care can help you investigate its checkout side.
- Merchant or region checks: Verify that you are shopping on the intended ASOS country site and using a delivery address eligible for the selected delivery service or Premier offer. The payment options available can vary by order and address. A region or eligibility problem is not something to fix with an invented billing address; ask ASOS Customer Care about the order requirements and Coinepay support about your card if needed.
- Issuer refusal or another checkout issue: ASOS also identifies issuer refusal as a possible cause. Note any message actually shown, along with the attempt time and amount, when contacting support. Do not share your full card number or CVV in an ordinary support message.
Manage your payment details and Premier subscription
ASOS places saved cards under My Account → Payment Methods, where you can add or update them. For UK Premier, ASOS documents the auto-renewal control at My Account → Manage Subscription → Cancel plan, with Renew plan available to opt back in. Review the status of your subscription after making a change. Do not assume that removing a saved card is the same as cancelling a plan.
Premier cancellation and renewal rules vary by market. In the UK and US, ASOS says customers who have made no eligible Premier purchase can contact Customer Care to cancel within one calendar month; its help pages say a refund is not available after that period. Australia describes a full-refund request through Customer Care within the first 14 days if no eligible purchase has been made. France, Germany and Spain describe a 14-day withdrawal route for unused subscriptions and say existing Premier subscriptions do not automatically renew. Check the terms for the ASOS country site where you purchased Premier rather than applying UK renewal instructions elsewhere.
Finally, ASOS’s returns policy can affect Premier eligibility: a returns rate of 70% or more across at least three orders can prevent a customer from buying or renewing it, although an active subscription keeps its benefits until expiry. If Premier does not appear as a purchase option, ask ASOS Customer Care to check your account eligibility before troubleshooting the card.
