Looking to pay for Topaz Photo AI? The current subscription app is called Topaz Photo. Topaz Photo AI was the earlier perpetual-license app; its final version was v4.0.4. This guide covers choosing a Topaz Photo subscription, checking out with a Coinepay virtual card, and handling common payment problems.

Before you start: choose the right Topaz product

Topaz sells standalone Topaz Photo Personal and Topaz Photo Pro subscriptions. Pro adds seat management and full commercial use. Personal permits commercial use by organizations with under US$1 million in annual revenue. Topaz Photo is also included in Topaz Studio, while the Pro app is included in Topaz Studio Pro. Enterprise arrangements have custom terms and pricing. Check what each option includes on Topaz’s official product and pricing pages before selecting Subscribe.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Topaz listed standalone Photo Personal at US$39 month-to-month, US$25 per month billed monthly with a 12-month commitment, or US$199 billed annually. Photo Pro was listed at US$63 per month billed monthly with a 12-month commitment, or US$599 billed annually. A displayed monthly equivalent for an annual plan is not a monthly charge. Prices, taxes and available options can change, so confirm the current terms on Topaz’s official pricing page and the total at checkout.

The billing schedule matters as much as the price. A monthly payment tied to a 12-month commitment is not the same as a month-to-month subscription. Topaz states that a 12-month-commitment subscription cannot be cancelled or refunded during its term without an additional fee. Read the commitment and renewal date shown at checkout before paying.

What you need before checkout

  • A Coinepay account ready for card use. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC). Card services require verification. You can manage your card in the 24/7 self-service dashboard or the Coinepay mobile app for iOS or Android.
  • Your virtual card details. Coinepay issues a card number, expiry date and CVV. Open your account to view the details you will enter at checkout.
  • Enough available funds for the full checkout total. Check the amount after any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST. Topaz does not accept split payments, so plan to cover the entire charge with one payment method.
  • Your real billing information and an accessible email address. Topaz asks for an email, name and billing address. Use accurate details; your checkout email will also be used to create a Topaz account if this is your first purchase.

Topaz documents credit and debit card payments, as well as other options that may vary by region. A listed card-payment option does not mean every individual card will be accepted. If you need to confirm whether your Coinepay card meets a checkout requirement before buying, contact Coinepay support.

How to subscribe and pay with your Coinepay card

  1. Open Topaz’s official Topaz Photo or pricing page. Compare Personal and Pro, or the Studio bundles if you need other apps. Choose the billing schedule you intend to keep.
  2. Sign in if you already have a Topaz account. Topaz advises existing customers to sign in before checkout so they can see any pricing applicable to their account.
  3. Select Subscribe. At checkout, review the product and plan, renewal date, amount, applicable tax and full total. Check whether a monthly amount carries a 12-month commitment.
  4. Enter your real contact and billing details. Use an email you can access, your name and your accurate billing address. Check the country and address carefully before proceeding; tax treatment can depend on billing details.
  5. Choose the card-payment option and enter your Coinepay card details. Copy the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay account. If the checkout requests a card verification step, complete the legitimate prompt rather than repeatedly resubmitting the form.
  6. Confirm only after reviewing the final total and terms. Keep the purchase confirmation and note the renewal date. For a first purchase, Topaz creates an account using your checkout email and sends a temporary password. Check that inbox for the account email.

Topaz says purchases for the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia and other markets are listed and processed in USD. A local-currency estimate displayed on a page is not necessarily the final local-currency amount; any conversion is handled by the payment provider. Applicable sales tax, VAT or GST can also change your checkout and renewal total. Topaz bases EU and UK VAT on the payment method’s billing address, so do not substitute an inaccurate address to change the tax calculation.

If your card is declined or checkout stalls

A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Check the following one at a time, then retry only after addressing the likely problem:

  • Insufficient available funds: Compare the card’s available funds with Topaz’s full checkout total, including tax, rather than a plan’s advertised monthly equivalent. Check your Coinepay account for the available amount and any information relevant to the attempted payment. Topaz does not accept splitting one purchase across payment methods.
  • Billing address mismatch: Review the name and billing address you entered, including the country and postal code. Correct typos using your real details. If you are unsure which details to use for your card, ask Coinepay support; do not try an invented address.
  • Card verification or 3-D Secure: If a verification prompt appears, complete it using the instructions shown. If it times out or does not open, try again once the verification issue is resolved or ask Coinepay support to review the attempt. Topaz warns that cards requiring two-factor identification will likely not work for automatic renewals, even if an initial payment goes through. Consider that risk before choosing a recurring plan and monitor future renewal notices.
  • Merchant region or payment checks: Confirm that your country, billing information and selected payment option are eligible at the checkout presented to you. Topaz says payment-option availability varies by region. If the checkout rejects your card or location, ask Topaz about its checkout requirements and Coinepay support about your card. Do not use a false address or another person’s identity to work around a restriction.
  • Incorrect saved details or a stalled page: Topaz documents cases involving expired or incorrect browser-autofilled payment details and purchases that stall. Re-enter the current card information rather than trusting autofill. Topaz suggests clearing relevant cookies, signing in and retrying in Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Before retrying a stalled purchase, check your email and Topaz account so you do not accidentally place it twice.

If checkout flags an EU VAT number, that is not necessarily a card decline. Topaz identifies a missing country-code prefix or a temporary VAT-validation outage as possible causes. Address the VAT message separately rather than changing card details that are otherwise correct.

Manage the payment method, renewal or cancellation

After purchase, Topaz places billing information, saved payment methods, VAT settings, transactions and subscriptions on the Studio Account Page. To change the card for an active subscription, go to Subscriptions → the active subscription → Change Payment and follow the prompts. Check the next renewal after making a change; subscriptions renew automatically while active.

For plans eligible for self-service cancellation, use Studio Account Page → Subscriptions → Manage → Cancel Subscription. Topaz recommends cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal; cancelling on the renewal date may not stop that charge. Access continues through the current paid period. Its documented self-service cancellation flow does not apply to annual plans billed monthly, so contact Topaz about the applicable procedure and commitment terms for that plan.

Cancellation alone is not a refund request. Topaz says refund requests must be made to its support team within two days of purchase. It generally does not refund prior subscription months or used cloud credits, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Keep your confirmation and check Topaz’s current policy if you need help with a charge.

FAQ

Is Topaz Photo AI still the subscription I should buy?

No. Topaz Photo AI was the earlier perpetual-license app. The current subscription product is Topaz Photo, offered in Personal and Pro tiers.

Does the displayed annual-plan monthly price mean Topaz charges me each month?

Not necessarily. An annual plan’s monthly equivalent is an approximation; check the checkout billing schedule and full amount before confirming.

What if my Coinepay card is declined at Topaz checkout?

Check available funds against the full total, correct any real billing-detail errors, and complete any card verification prompt. If it still fails, ask Coinepay support to review the attempt and Topaz about its checkout requirements.

Where can I change the card used for my Topaz subscription?

On the Topaz Studio Account Page, open Subscriptions, select the active subscription, then choose Change Payment.

Will cancelling my Topaz subscription refund the payment?

No. Cancellation is separate from a refund request. Topaz says to request a refund from its support team within two days of purchase; its commitment and refund terms still apply.
