Factorial is business-management software that bundles time, talent, finance and IT tools for growing companies. If your organisation wants to pay for its Factorial subscription with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how Factorial's sign-up and card-registration flow works, and what to check if a card payment is declined.
Note that Factorial Cards, the company's corporate-spending product, are a separate service. This article is about paying for the Factorial business-management subscription itself.
What you need before you start
- A registered Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. If you haven't done this yet, create your Coinepay account and finish verification first.
- A Coinepay virtual card with its number, expiry date and CVV, available in the Coinepay app or dashboard once issued.
- Enough available balance on the card to cover the first charge plus any applicable taxes.
- Your real billing details — company name and billing address — matching the information on file with Coinepay.
- Admin or billing permission in Factorial. Only an authorised owner, administrator or a user with billing permission can manage payment methods.
Factorial's subscription terms accept debit or credit bank cards (and SEPA direct debit within the SEPA area). The terms do not publish which card networks are accepted for subscription billing. If you are unsure whether your Coinepay card will be accepted, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details before you buy.
How Factorial pricing and checkout work
Factorial does not publish a fixed, self-service price for every package. Every plan includes Factorial Core, with a tailored selection of tools, and the published pages point you to request a tailored quote for the final package. Contracted price, minimum seats, billing term and currency are set in the signed commercial proposal, and stated prices exclude applicable taxes and (unless specified) add-ons.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the starting prices advertised on Factorial's regional pricing pages are roughly: US/global from US$8 per user per month, UK from £5.40, Germany from €8, Mexico from MX$80.10 and Brazil from R$10.30 per user per month. These are starting figures only and change by region — always confirm the current number on Factorial's official pricing page for your country before committing.
Step 1: Create or access your company account
An authorised owner or administrator can create a company account from Factorial's site via Log In → Get started now, signing up with a work email, Google or Microsoft account. Complete the form and verify the confirmation email. If you are an employee joining a company that already uses Factorial, don't create a new account — ask your administrator for an invitation instead.
Factorial may offer a market-specific free trial of up to 15 calendar days (unless a different period is granted). To keep using the product after that, you'll need to select a pricing plan and set up payment.
Step 2: Register your Coinepay card
For card activation, Factorial's Finance team emails a payment-registration link before the subscription is created. This link is valid for five days, and the account can be activated once your card details are registered. When you open that link:
- Enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV exactly as shown in the Coinepay app.
- Enter the billing address that matches your Coinepay records.
- Submit and complete any verification step prompted by the card issuer, such as 3-D Secure.
Because the link expires in five days, register your card promptly. If it lapses, ask your Account Manager or Finance contact to re-issue it.
Step 3: Manage payment methods in the customer portal
Once you're subscribed, billing lives in Factorial's customer portal. In the app, go to sidebar → Billing. From there:
- Subscription shows your plan and next billing date.
- Billing history holds your invoices.
- Payment methods holds your primary and backup methods.
A company administrator or a user with billing permission can update card details through Billing → Payment methods. Changes apply to future invoices, not to invoices that have already been issued. Switching to or from bank transfer requires an Account Manager; the self-service portal covers card and SEPA methods.
Step 4: Keep your card ready for renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically, so keep enough balance on your Coinepay card ahead of each billing date shown under Subscription. If you plan to replace the card, update it under Billing → Payment methods before the next invoice is generated. Adding a backup payment method can prevent a failed renewal if the primary card can't be charged.
Troubleshooting: why a card payment can be declined
Factorial's billing guidance doesn't publish a verified list of subscription-checkout error messages, so the causes below are the common, general reasons a card charge fails. Work through them in order.
Insufficient balance
Make sure your Coinepay card has enough available funds to cover the charge plus taxes. Check your balance in the Coinepay app and top up if needed, then retry the payment or wait for the next automatic attempt.
Billing address mismatch
Card checks often compare the billing address you entered with the one on file for the card. Re-enter the exact billing details associated with your Coinepay card. A mismatched postcode, country or company name is a frequent cause of a silent decline.
3-D Secure / authentication not completed
Many card payments need an extra verification step. If the payment window asks you to confirm in the Coinepay app or by another method, complete it promptly. If you miss it, the charge may be rejected and you'll need to start again.
Expired registration link
Remember that the Finance payment-registration link lasts only five days. If it has expired, the card can't be registered until a new link is issued — request one from your Account Manager.
Merchant region or network checks
Factorial prohibits use of its platform from countries it specifies under international sanctions, and its subscription terms don't identify which card networks are accepted for subscription billing. If your card is repeatedly declined for a reason you can't resolve, first confirm with Factorial that your region and plan are supported, then contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details meet the requirement. Don't attempt to disguise your location or use details that aren't your own — always use your real company identity and billing information.
Cancellation and refunds (good to know)
Only the company's platform administrator can request cancellation, via Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription or Billing → Subscription → Cancel subscription. Factorial requires notice at least 15 days before a monthly renewal or 30 days before an annual renewal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, after which account data becomes inaccessible. Factorial's terms state that prepaid fees for the unused period are not refunded, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and any outstanding fees remain payable. Plan your card balance and timing accordingly.
Get the Coinepay app
You can issue and manage your virtual card, check your balance and complete verification prompts from the Coinepay app on iOS or Google Play, or from the 24/7 self-service dashboard. For help with a specific decline or to confirm your card details, reach Coinepay support or our Telegram channel.
