one.com is a domain registration and web hosting provider, and its orders are paid online at checkout. If you want to keep your hosting spend on a single, controllable payment method, a Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV you can use at the one.com checkout. This guide walks through what you need, how the sign-up and payment flow works, and how to troubleshoot a declined card.

What you need before you start

Getting set up takes only a few minutes, but have these ready first:

  • A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification (KYC) before your card can be used. Create your account and finish verification in the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app (iOS / Google Play).
  • An active Coinepay virtual card with enough balance to cover the full order total, including any tax shown in the order summary.
  • Your real billing details. Use your real name and billing address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account; one.com and the bank behind your card check this.
  • The plan and domain you want. Decide on a hosting tier and whether you are registering a new domain or transferring one.

one.com lists Visa, Mastercard and Visa Electron as subscription-payment cards. Whether American Express, Discover or other networks are accepted is not confirmed. Coinepay does not publish which network every card runs on, so if a merchant restricts card networks, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before you buy.

one.com hosting plans at a glance

one.com's current Web Hosting lineup is Starter, Professional, Business and Max. The Managed WordPress tiers reuse the same four names. Older plans called Beginner, Explorer, Enthusiast and Guru stay active for existing customers unless they switch, but they are not part of the new lineup.

Pricing is regional, shown as a one-year subscription paid annually, and typically has an introductory rate for the first term and a higher renewal rate. At the time of writing (October 2026), examples included:

RegionStarter (intro / renewal)Max (intro / renewal)
US$2.99 / $8.99 per month$9.99 / $29.99 per month
UK£1.99 / £7.99 per month£8.99 / £24.99 per month
Denmark29 / 79 kr. per month99 / 299 kr. per month

Prices vary by region and change over time, so always confirm the current figure and your full checkout total on the official one.com plans and pricing page before you pay. The order summary is what actually gets charged.

Step-by-step: order and pay at one.com

  1. Choose a plan and domain. On one.com, pick your hosting tier (Starter, Professional, Business or Max) and either register a new domain or add one you already own. Note that some extensions have their own rules; for example, one.com lists .it for EU-based individuals or companies only.
  2. Review the selected products. Check the term length, the introductory versus renewal price, and any add-ons so nothing unexpected is in the basket.
  3. Enter your customer details. Provide your real name, address, and email. These should match your Coinepay billing information to avoid an address-verification mismatch.
  4. Accept the terms. Tick the agreement checkbox to continue.
  5. Choose a payment method. Select card payment. Depending on your country, one.com may also show PayPal, SEPA Direct Debit (eurozone), bank transfer in several European countries, Dankort and MobilePay (Denmark) or iDEAL (Netherlands). Some methods carry an additional fee, so card is often the simplest.
  6. Enter your Coinepay card details. Type the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay dashboard or app. Use the billing address on your Coinepay account.
  7. Complete any 3-D Secure step. If prompted, approve the payment via the confirmation method tied to your card.
  8. Confirm and submit. Online payment ordinarily activates the order automatically. You should see a confirmation and an invoice.

If you ever have an unpaid invoice, you can pay it from the Control Panel or at one.com/pay using your domain name and the invoice order number. Invoices also appear under My account → Invoices.

Managing your payment method later

To change the card used for the next renewal, open the one.com Control Panel and go to Billing → Invoices → Change payment methods. Select the relevant domain first if you manage more than one, then replace or add a method. A saved card can also be updated under My account → My products. Removing a saved card without adding a replacement requires contacting one.com support.

Because hosting renews automatically, keep your Coinepay card funded ahead of the renewal date. one.com says customers receive at least 60 days' notice before a new subscription period, which gives you time to top up or switch cards.

Troubleshooting a declined card

If the checkout shows a failure or the payment does not go through, work through these common causes before trying again.

Insufficient balance

The most frequent cause is not enough funds to cover the full order total plus tax. Check the exact amount in the one.com order summary, then confirm your Coinepay card balance in the app and top up if needed.

Billing address or name mismatch

If the name and billing address you enter at one.com do not match what the bank behind your card has on file, the payment can be rejected. Copy your billing details from your Coinepay account exactly and re-enter them.

3-D Secure not completed

If a verification prompt appears and is not approved in time, the charge fails. Make sure you can receive and approve the Coinepay confirmation, then retry the payment.

Card network or region checks

one.com lists Visa, Mastercard and Visa Electron for subscription payments, and payment-method availability depends on your country of residence. If card payment is unavailable or declined for a network reason, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details before retrying, and consider another listed method such as PayPal where available.

"Payment failed" but money seems gone

A charge that shows as pending while the order reports a failure is usually a temporary authorisation, not a final settlement. Do not submit the order repeatedly, which can create multiple holds. Wait for the pending item to clear in your Coinepay app, and if an invoice still shows unpaid, note that one.com attributes lingering unpaid invoices to processing time or a payment it cannot match to an order. Keep your domain name and order number handy when you contact one.com support.

Refunds and cancellation

A new website order has a 15-day money-back request window, which you must request explicitly from one.com support with your domain and order number. Google Ads, Exchange and Microsoft 365 plans are excluded, and only one domain receives a full refund; additional domains can have hosting refunded but not registration fees. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel at least 30 days before the subscription ends via Control Panel → My account → My products → Manage → Cancel. A regular cancellation takes effect at the end of the period and does not remove the current invoice, and unused prepaid time is generally not refunded.

Need help on the Coinepay side?

For anything about your card balance, verification status or whether your card suits a particular merchant check, reach the Coinepay team through support or Telegram. Everything else about your card is managed 24/7 from the dashboard and the mobile app.

FAQ

Which card networks does one.com accept?

one.com lists Visa, Mastercard and Visa Electron for subscription payments. Acceptance of American Express, Discover and other networks is not confirmed. Coinepay doesn't publish which network every card runs on, so if you're unsure, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before buying.

Why was my Coinepay card declined at one.com?

Common causes are insufficient balance for the full total plus tax, a billing name or address that doesn't match your card account, an uncompleted 3-D Secure prompt, or a card network/region check. Fix the cause and retry rather than resubmitting repeatedly, which can create multiple holds.

How do I change the card one.com charges at renewal?

In the one.com Control Panel go to Billing → Invoices → Change payment methods, select the domain if needed, then add or replace the card. You can also update a saved card under My account → My products.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

A new website order has a 15-day money-back request window that you must request from one.com support with your domain and order number. Some products are excluded, and only one domain receives a full refund. Unused prepaid time on a normal cancellation is generally not refunded.

I paid but one.com still shows the invoice as unpaid. What now?

one.com attributes lingering unpaid invoices to processing time or a payment it cannot match to an order. Wait for any pending charge to clear in your Coinepay app, then contact one.com support with your domain name and order number. You can also pay or check invoices at one.com/pay.
