You can start a Constant Contact Email and Digital Marketing trial without entering a card, then add payment details when you choose a paid plan. This guide explains how to prepare a Coinepay virtual card, review Constant Contact’s checkout, and address common payment problems. It covers Email and Digital Marketing plans, not the separately billed Lead Gen & CRM product.
What you need before subscribing
- A Coinepay account: Register and complete identity verification before using card services. You can manage your card in the Coinepay dashboard or the Coinepay mobile app. A virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Your real billing details: Have the name and billing address associated with your payment details ready. Enter them accurately at Constant Contact checkout; do not substitute an address from another country.
- Enough available funds: Check your card’s available balance against the full amount shown at checkout, including applicable tax, contact-tier pricing, add-ons and any prepayment you select. Check the Coinepay app for any card-specific limits or funding requirements.
- A plan and billing period: Review Constant Contact’s official pricing page for your region. The amount you owe depends on your plan, contact count, billing choice and applicable charges.
Constant Contact lists credit card, PayPal and Apple Pay among its subscription payment methods. Additional methods are available only to some customers or in particular locations. Listing a card payment option does not establish that every virtual card is eligible or that a particular transaction will be approved. If checkout states a card-type or issuing-country restriction, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets it before you buy.
Choose the right Constant Contact plan
The US Email and Digital Marketing pricing page lists Lite, Standard and Premium, plus a sales-led Multi-Account option. At the time of writing (October 2026), their advertised US starting prices were $12, $35 and $80 per month, respectively. These are starting prices, not a quote for your contact list; check Constant Contact’s official pricing page before committing. Its pricing rises by contact tier, and email-send allowances are tied to contact count: 10 times the count for Lite, 12 times for Standard and 24 times for Premium. Sending beyond an allowance can result in overage charges.
Plan choices differ by region. The UK pricing page lists Starter Email, Lite, Standard and Premium, while the Australian page lists Lite, Standard and Vision6 by quotation. Use the page for your actual location rather than assuming another region’s plans, taxes or features apply. Constant Contact also offers monthly payment or prepayment when changing plans in an account. Its standard prepayment discounts are 10% for six months and 15% for twelve months, but review the order total and terms before choosing a longer commitment.
How to sign up and pay with your virtual card
- Set up Coinepay. Register for Coinepay, complete the required identity verification and obtain a virtual card. Open the dashboard or app to check its number, expiry date, CVV and available funds. Do not share these details outside a legitimate checkout.
- Start at Constant Contact. Visit Constant Contact’s official site, select the Email and Digital Marketing offering and review the plans shown for your region. Follow its sign-up prompts using your real personal or business information. Its free trial does not require a credit card; you can evaluate it before selecting a paid plan.
- Check the account currency. Constant Contact bases the account currency on the trial location. If it needs changing, review that setting during the trial: Constant Contact says it cannot be changed after a payment. Make sure your location and billing details are accurate rather than trying to select a different region to obtain another price.
- Choose a paid plan. When ready to subscribe, follow the in-account purchase prompts. If you are changing an existing plan, open the profile menu, choose Plans and pricing, then select Upgrade or Downgrade. Choose monthly payment or an available prepayment period.
- Review and pay. Read the order and billing details, including the plan, contact tier, billing period, tax and any add-ons. If a card-entry option is offered, enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV, along with your real matching billing information. Follow any authentication prompt presented during checkout, then select Pay now when you are satisfied with the order.
- Confirm the result. Check that Constant Contact shows the intended paid plan and review the payment activity in Coinepay. Keep your receipt and note the next billing date. If checkout does not confirm payment, do not assume that repeated clicks are harmless; check both accounts before trying again.
For accounts billing through Indian banks, Constant Contact’s guidance requires six- or twelve-month prepayment rather than monthly billing. Review the applicable checkout terms before funding a card for that purchase. Availability of a plan or payment option can also vary by jurisdiction.
How to update your card or manage renewal
To replace the payment method on an existing Email and Digital Marketing account, the Account Owner should use a web browser to open the profile name, then Settings → Billing → Edit payment method. Constant Contact says this update cannot be made through its mobile app. Enter the new details and check that the saved payment method is the one you intend to use.
Constant Contact renews a subscription using the payment method on file unless it is canceled before renewal. Your bill can reflect the plan, the highest applicable contact tier, add-ons and email-send overage. Keep sufficient funds available for the expected renewal and review your billing page when your contact list or usage changes.
If you want to cancel, Constant Contact instructs customers to call its support team before the next billing date. Its cancellation guidance says access continues until that date and a confirmation email follows within 24 hours. Prepayments are generally non-refundable. A separate 30-day money-back guarantee has conditions: it starts with the first payment, requires uploaded contacts and a sent email, and excludes certain charges and accounts. Ask Constant Contact’s Billing Team about eligibility when canceling; simply canceling online does not request that refund.
What to do if your card is declined
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Record the wording shown at checkout, check whether Coinepay shows an attempted charge, and work through the relevant checks below. Do not rely on error-message lists for Constant Contact’s Lead Gen & CRM product: its billing flow is separate from Email and Digital Marketing.
- Insufficient available balance: Compare the funds available on the card with the entire checkout amount, not just an advertised starting monthly price. A larger contact tier, taxes, add-ons or a six- or twelve-month prepayment can increase the amount due. Check funding and card limits in Coinepay before retrying.
- Billing-address mismatch or incorrect card details: Re-enter the number, expiry and CVV carefully, and make sure the billing name and address match your genuine payment details. Constant Contact support has advised customers with repeated declines to check card details and the billing address, then contact their payment provider or try another available method.
- Authentication or 3-D Secure interruption: If checkout requests an extra verification step, complete the prompt as shown and return to checkout. If it times out or fails, check for a pending transaction before attempting payment again. Contact Coinepay support if you need help determining what happened with the card; contact Constant Contact if its checkout never finishes.
- Merchant region or card-eligibility checks: Verify that your Constant Contact account location, selected currency and billing details reflect your actual circumstances. A merchant may reject a card or transaction under its own payment rules. If checkout identifies a card-type or issuing-country requirement, ask Coinepay support whether your card meets that requirement before purchasing. Do not change your identity or address to get around a restriction.
If the payment still fails, ask Constant Contact’s billing support what its checkout rejected and contact Coinepay support about the card-side result. You can also review another payment method if Constant Contact offers one to your account. Resolve a failed renewal promptly: Constant Contact says non-payment can place an account on hold and that 75 days of non-payment leads to cancellation.
