To subscribe to Leonardo.Ai, choose a plan in the Leonardo app and complete its card checkout using your Coinepay virtual card details. This guide covers what to prepare, where to find the checkout, and what to check if a payment fails. A successful payment depends on Leonardo’s checkout requirements and the checks applied to your transaction.
What you need before checkout
- A Leonardo.Ai account. Sign up with your email address or a supported single sign-on option, then log in to the Leonardo app.
- A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification before using Coinepay card services. You can manage your card in the Coinepay mobile app or 24/7 self-service dashboard.
- Your virtual card details. Coinepay provides a card number, expiry date, and CVV when it issues a virtual card. Keep these details private and enter them only in the checkout you opened from Leonardo.Ai.
- Enough available funds. Check the final checkout total, including any applicable tax, rather than relying only on a plan’s advertised price. Allow for upcoming renewals if you choose a subscription.
- Your real billing information. Use the name and billing details associated with you and your payment method. Do not substitute a different country or an invented address to try to pass a regional check.
Leonardo’s terms discuss cards held by an authorised cardholder. They do not establish that any particular Coinepay card will be accepted. If you need to confirm a card requirement before buying, contact Coinepay support.
Choose the Leonardo.Ai plan and billing period
Leonardo’s current solo plan names are Free, Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. The Free plan does not require a paid subscription; choose one of the paid plans if you need its listed benefits. In the app, you can compare plans and switch between Monthly and Yearly billing before selecting one.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Leonardo’s public pricing page displayed monthly USD prices before tax of $12 for Essential, $30 for Premium, and $60 for Ultimate. A yearly option may show a lower per-month equivalent while charging for the year. Prices, taxes, and the amount presented to you can change, so check Leonardo.Ai’s official pricing page and the confirmation pop-up before proceeding.
If you are buying for a team, Leonardo lists Starter and Growth team plans, with billing managed through the team workspace. Its API Pay as you go option uses account top-ups rather than a solo monthly subscription. The steps below focus on subscribing to a solo plan, not buying API usage or managing team seats.
How to subscribe with your Coinepay virtual card
- Set up Coinepay. Register for Coinepay, complete the required identity verification, and obtain your virtual card. Check its available funds and card details in the app or dashboard before starting checkout.
- Log in to Leonardo.Ai. If you are new, create an account with email or a supported single sign-on method. Use your own account and accurate profile information.
- Open the plans screen. From the Leonardo app home page, select Plans in the sidebar. Compare Essential, Premium, and Ultimate against the features you intend to use.
- Pick a billing period and plan. Select Monthly or Yearly, then click Subscribe on your chosen plan. Review the cost shown in Leonardo’s confirmation pop-up; yearly billing is not the same as paying one monthly installment.
- Choose the card checkout. If presented with payment choices, select Card. Leonardo’s card flow redirects to a Stripe billing page. The payment options visible to you may depend on your checkout, so follow the choices actually displayed.
- Enter and verify your details. Copy your Coinepay card number, expiry date, and CVV carefully. Enter your real billing details, review the total and billing period, and complete any authentication prompt presented during payment. Do not approve a prompt you did not initiate.
- Confirm the outcome. Return to Leonardo and check whether your paid plan is active. Keep the checkout confirmation and review your Coinepay activity. If the result is unclear, check the subscription status before submitting another payment.
A subscription normally renews automatically unless you cancel it. Before confirming, make sure the selected billing period and renewal terms fit your budget. Coinepay card services are provided through licensed partner financial institutions, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction.
What to do if Leonardo.Ai declines your card
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Start with the message on the checkout screen, your Leonardo subscription status, and any transaction or authentication information available in Coinepay. Avoid repeatedly submitting a payment while its outcome is uncertain.
Insufficient available funds
Check the full amount on the Stripe checkout, including applicable tax, against the funds available for your Coinepay card. A yearly purchase may require the annual total at once. If the amount is higher than expected, go back and confirm whether you selected Monthly or Yearly. Add sufficient funds using the options shown in your Coinepay account before trying again; check the app or support if you need information about applicable funding conditions.
Billing details do not match
Recheck the card number, expiry date, CVV, cardholder name, and billing address for typing mistakes. Use your genuine billing information consistently. If you are unsure which billing details to enter for your Coinepay card, ask Coinepay support rather than guessing. Changing an address or country simply to satisfy a checkout check can create further problems and may breach a service’s terms.
Authentication or 3-D Secure did not complete
If checkout asks you to approve a card authentication step, follow the prompt and wait for the result before closing the page. An expired prompt, a closed checkout tab, or an authentication you did not complete can interrupt payment. If no prompt arrives or one fails repeatedly, review your Coinepay app and contact support with the time of the attempt and the message displayed. Never share your CVV or a one-time verification code with someone offering to fix a decline.
Merchant or regional checks
Leonardo’s checkout and its payment processor may apply regional, billing, or other eligibility checks. A Coinepay card does not override those checks. Make sure your account country and billing information reflect your real circumstances, and check the message shown at checkout. If the issue appears to concern card eligibility, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the stated requirement before you buy. You can also ask Leonardo support whether your account is eligible to subscribe from your location.
A Leonardo-specific subscription error
Leonardo documents the message “Check-plan-subscription-status subscription count is higher than 1” after an unsuccessful card transaction. Its guidance is to check available funds or contact the card provider; it says the error generally resolves after around 24 hours. Check whether a charge or subscription already went through before retrying. If the message remains, contact Leonardo support with your account email and the exact error text, without sending your full card number or CVV.
Manage your payment method or cancel later
For a solo subscription, open Settings → Workspace Settings → Subscription and Billing. To replace a card, go to Payment Details → Update Payment Method; this opens Stripe, where you can add a replacement card and make it the default. Update the payment method before your next renewal if the existing details will no longer work.
To cancel, follow Settings → Workspace Settings → Subscription and Billing → Your Plan → Cancel Plan → Proceed with Cancellation. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: access continues until the next renewal date, when the plan changes to Free and unused subscription tokens expire. If you use a team workspace instead, only the Team Owner and Super Admins can manage its billing; select the team under Workspace Settings → Subscription & Billing to review payment details, invoices, and seats.
Cancellation is not automatically a refund. Leonardo assesses refund requests individually under its policy; a change of mind alone may not qualify, subject to applicable consumer-law rights. For a billing or refund issue, use Leonardo’s in-app Talk to a person option or its contact form with Billing selected. Include your account email and relevant payment date, but not your full card credentials.
