Hover sells domain registrations and email for your domain. If you want to pay with a Coinepay virtual card, prepare your real registration and billing details first, then check the full USD total in Hover’s cart before submitting your order. This guide covers a new domain purchase, optional Titan Email, and what to do if the card is declined.
What you need before checkout
- A Coinepay account and virtual card. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Once your card is issued, its number, expiry date, and CVV are available through Coinepay. Check the app or dashboard for your available funds and any card settings relevant to your purchase.
- A Hover account. You can sign in during checkout or create an account after choosing a domain. Use your real identity and accurate contact information for domain registration.
- A domain choice and an estimated budget. Hover’s registration, transfer, and renewal prices depend on the domain extension. Its domain prices are annual and stated in USD. Check the price and registration period shown for your selection rather than assuming every extension costs the same.
- Matching billing information. Have the genuine billing name and address associated with your payment details ready. Do not substitute an invented address to try to pass a payment check.
Domain extensions can have their own eligibility rules. For example, registering a .CA domain requires a qualifying Canadian connection. Choose an extension for which you meet the applicable requirements; a payment card does not change those rules. Coinepay services are also subject to jurisdictional availability.
Choose a Hover domain or Titan Email plan
Start with the product you actually need. To register a domain, search for the name on Hover, review the available extensions, and add your choice to the cart. If you already have a domain eligible for Hover’s email service, you can consider Titan Email separately through the Hover control panel. Titan Email may also be offered during domain checkout.
For new Titan Email purchases, Hover offers Pro, Premium, and Ultra. At the time of writing (October 2026), Hover listed annual launch prices of US$36 for Pro, US$60 for Premium, and US$120 for Ultra. Hover describes these prices as provisional, so confirm the current plan details and amount in Hover’s official pricing information and cart before paying. Hover processes transactions in USD. Existing customers may still have Hover’s older Hosted Email service; do not assume its settings or charges match a new Titan purchase.
Check whether the cart contains a domain, an email plan, or both. Each can affect what you owe now and what may renew later. Review the registration period and any renewal information shown before you approve payment.
How to pay for Hover with your Coinepay virtual card
- Prepare the card. Sign in to the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app and view your issued virtual card’s number, expiry date, and CVV. Confirm that the available funds cover the total displayed by Hover, allowing for any applicable taxes or other amounts shown at checkout. If you need information about card limits or availability, check the app or contact Coinepay support.
- Build your Hover cart. Search for your domain, select an available extension, and add it to the cart. If you want Titan Email and Hover offers it for the domain, choose the appropriate Pro, Premium, or Ultra option. Read the cart carefully before continuing.
- Sign in or create a Hover account. Follow Hover’s account prompts. Enter accurate domain registration details when requested. If your chosen extension has eligibility conditions, provide information that genuinely satisfies them.
- Enter payment information. At checkout, select the card-payment option and enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV. Use your real billing details, checking that the address and postal code are entered correctly. Hover lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover among its accepted card payments, alongside other payment methods; acceptance of a particular card or transaction is not guaranteed.
- Review and submit. Confirm the domain name, extension, registration term, optional email selection, USD total, billing details, and terms. Submit the order only when they are correct. If a payment verification prompt appears, follow the legitimate instructions presented by the payment provider; do not repeatedly submit the order while an earlier attempt remains unresolved.
- Check the outcome. Look for Hover’s order confirmation and verify that the purchased services appear in your account. You can find invoices through Settings in the Hover control panel. If you see a charge but no confirmed order, contact Hover before trying again so you can avoid an accidental duplicate purchase.
Manage the card and future renewals
To add or replace a stored payment method, sign in to the Hover control panel and open Settings → Billing info. If editing a saved method fails, Hover recommends deleting that method and adding it again. After a change, check that the intended payment method is saved and review any upcoming renewals in your Hover account. A successful initial payment does not by itself ensure that a later renewal will go through; keep your billing information current and check your available funds ahead of a due date.
Hover also accepts PayPal, Apple Pay, and a funded Hover account balance. If you choose PayPal for recurring payments, Hover requires a backup credit card. Those alternatives have their own checkout requirements; selecting one does not resolve an eligibility rule attached to a domain extension.
If you no longer want a domain to renew, turn off its auto-renew setting in Hover. Time already applied to a domain registration is not refundable. For a newly registered domain, Hover says to contact it within four days if you want to request registry cancellation; exceptions depend on the extension. Titan Email starts with auto-renew on. Hover says deleting all mailboxes on a domain prevents that Titan subscription from renewing, but mailbox access ends immediately, and Titan Email is non-refundable. Back up anything you need and read Hover’s current cancellation instructions before deleting mailboxes.
Troubleshoot a declined Hover card payment
A decline does not always identify the cause. Check the error shown by Hover, then work through the relevant checks below instead of changing your details at random.
- Insufficient funds, expiry, or CVV: Compare the full USD checkout total with the available funds shown by Coinepay. Re-enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV carefully, and make sure the card has not expired. Hover identifies insufficient funds, an expired card, and an incorrect CVV as possible issuer-side reasons for a decline.
- Billing address mismatch: Review the genuine name, street address, and postal code entered at Hover. Correct typos or outdated information using your real billing details. If you cannot tell which details should be used with your card, ask Coinepay support before another attempt.
- 3-D Secure or other verification: If checkout requests authentication, complete the prompt through the legitimate payment flow. If no prompt appears, it fails, or you cannot complete it, do not assume the transaction was approved. Check for an order confirmation, then contact Coinepay support with the time and amount of the attempt to ask what happened.
- Merchant or region checks: Hover may apply automated payment checks, and a domain extension may impose its own registration eligibility requirements. Do not use a different identity or address to bypass either check. If you are unsure whether your card can be used for this purchase, ask Coinepay support; for a domain eligibility or checkout decision, ask Hover.
Hover documents this specific checkout message: Credit card charge not approved - processor reports error: [gateway_rejected] Gateway returned "fraud". Hover says it can result from an automated processor check, particularly with a new card; it is not, by itself, a finding that you committed fraud. Save the exact message and contact Hover for help with its checkout decision. If Hover directs you to your card provider, give Coinepay support the transaction time, amount, and error text—never your full card number or CVV in a support message.
If a stored-card update rather than a new checkout is failing, return to Settings → Billing info and try Hover’s recommended delete-and-add approach. Before placing another order, confirm whether the first attempt created a purchase or only a failed payment.

FAQ
Can I buy Titan Email without choosing it during domain checkout?
Yes. Hover says Titan Email can be selected during domain checkout or added later for an eligible domain in the control panel.
Where do I change my payment method in Hover?
Sign in to the Hover control panel and go to Settings → Billing info. If editing a stored method fails, delete it and add it again.
Why does Hover show a gateway_rejected fraud error?
Hover says this message can come from an automated processor check, especially for a new card. Save the exact error and contact Hover; it is not by itself a finding of fraud.
Can I get a refund if I cancel Titan Email?
Hover says Titan Email is non-refundable. Deleting all mailboxes prevents that domain’s Titan subscription from renewing, but mailbox access ends immediately.
