Wish is a shopping marketplace where you pay for individual items rather than a shopper subscription. You can enter a Coinepay virtual card at checkout, but completing an order depends on Wish’s payment requirements, the item’s shipping availability and the results of payment checks. This guide covers what to prepare, how to place an order and what to check if payment fails.

Before you shop on Wish

Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification (KYC) before using its card services. Once your virtual card is issued, its card number, expiry date and CVV are available immediately. You can manage the card through the Coinepay mobile app or its 24/7 self-service dashboard. If you have not registered, create a Coinepay account first.

Have your real name, billing details and delivery address ready. Your billing information should match the details associated with your payment method. Your shipping address should be somewhere Wish and the seller can deliver the selected item; changing an address merely to pass a checkout check is not a substitute for meeting Wish’s regional rules.

Check the card requirement before buying: Wish lists Visa- or Mastercard-branded debit cards and credit cards bearing brands it names as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Maestro and Cirrus. This list does not establish that a particular Coinepay card qualifies or that Wish will accept a particular transaction. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets Wish’s stated requirement before you buy. Wish does not accept cash on delivery or bank transfers.

Also check the final cart total, not just the item listing. Wish sellers set item prices, and a selected size or colour can change the price. Shipping destination, shipping charges and any applicable tax can affect what you pay. Wish may show a shopping currency different from the currency in which it processes the payment. Review the payment currency at checkout and check the Coinepay app or support if you need information about a possible conversion charge.

How to create a Wish account and pay

  1. Create or access your Wish account. On Wish.com or in the Wish app, sign up with your email address and follow the verification link, or choose the available Facebook, Google or Apple ID sign-up option. If you already have an account, sign in.
  2. Check the product and delivery location. Open the item listing, choose the size, colour or other variation you actually want, and confirm that the item can ship to your real delivery address. Seller availability and shipping options can differ by item and location.
  3. Add the item to your cart. Select Buy, then open the cart and proceed to checkout. Review the chosen variation, quantity, delivery address, shipping charge, tax and order total before entering payment details.
  4. Choose card payment if it appears. On the Wish website, open the cart and select Edit under Billing to add or change a payment method before ordering. In the Wish app, Settings → Manage Payments is where Wish says you can add or delete a payment method. Available options can vary by country and device.
  5. Enter your Coinepay card details. Copy the card number, expiry date and CVV from your Coinepay app or dashboard into Wish’s card fields. Enter your real billing details carefully. If a security verification prompt appears, follow its instructions rather than repeatedly submitting the same payment.
  6. Review and submit the order. Check the final amount and payment currency once more, then confirm only when the details are correct. Look for an order confirmation in Wish and check Order History rather than assuming an attempted payment produced an order.

Wish also lists options such as PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, Afterpay, Pix and iDEAL, among others, but availability depends on where and how you shop. Wish does not let you split one order between two ordinary payment methods. It does allow a Wish Cash balance to be combined with a card, where applicable; check the amount still payable by card before confirming.

What to check if Wish declines your card

A failed checkout does not, by itself, identify the reason. Wish’s help material describes possible causes rather than one definitive card-error message, so use the information shown for your specific attempt. Work through these checks before trying again:

  • Insufficient available balance: Compare the available funds shown in Coinepay with Wish’s final checkout total, including shipping and tax. Allow for a difference between Wish’s displayed shopping currency and payment currency. If you need help understanding the available amount or a charge, contact Coinepay support.
  • Incorrect or expired details: Recheck every digit of the card number, expiry date and CVV. Wish identifies expired payment details as a possible reason for failure. If you saved an older card in Wish, update it under Settings → Manage Payments in the app or Edit under Billing in the website cart.
  • Billing address mismatch: Check the billing name and address you entered against your real payment details, including the postal code where requested. Correct mistakes rather than entering an unrelated address to try to force approval.
  • 3-D Secure or another verification step: If checkout presents an authentication request, complete the instructions shown. If no prompt arrives, it expires or verification fails, check the Coinepay app for relevant information and contact support. Do not assume every Wish transaction will present the same verification flow.
  • Merchant or shipping-region checks: Check whether Wish serves your country and whether that particular seller ships the item to your address. Wish says customers in markets it has exited cannot place new orders; its published changes include India, Indonesia and Russia. A different card will not make an ineligible delivery address eligible.
  • Account or card restrictions: Wish also identifies a reported-stolen card or a frozen account as potential reasons for payment failure. If your card or account status looks unusual, stop retrying and ask Coinepay support to review the card side. For a Wish account or order restriction, use Wish’s customer support.

If the attempt still fails, check whether an order appears in Wish’s Order History before submitting again. Contact Wish about its checkout or delivery eligibility and Coinepay support about card-side questions. Share the relevant attempt details through the appropriate support channel, but do not post your full card number or CVV.

After ordering: cancellation and refunds

If you need to cancel, act promptly. Wish’s English help says you can request cancellation within one hour of ordering through Order History → Need help with this item? → Wish Assistant, and says an order cannot be changed or cancelled after that window. Another Wish help page describes a different window, so check the options shown for your actual order rather than waiting until the deadline is near.

For a delivered item, Wish says to request a refund through Wish Assistant within 30 days of delivery. For a non-delivery, its window is 30 days from the Refund Eligible Date shown in Order History. Wish says a refund to the original payment method other than Wish Cash can take up to 10 business days. Its policy also excludes expedited shipping, promotions and Wish gift cards from refunds, and you may be responsible for return shipping. Review the policy and your order details before requesting a return or refund.

If you are comparing totals across orders, remember that Wish product and shipping prices are not fixed across every seller or destination. Even an advertised shipping offer depends on eligibility, so the checkout total for your own cart is the amount to review before paying.

FAQ

Does Wish require a subscription to shop?

No shopper subscription is needed for the purchase flow described here. Choose an item, review its cart total and pay at checkout.

Where do I add or change a card on Wish?

In the Wish app, go to Settings → Manage Payments. On the website, open your cart and select Edit under Billing before ordering.

Why was my Coinepay card declined on Wish?

Check the available balance, card details, real billing information, any verification prompt and whether the item ships to your location. Contact the relevant support team if the reason remains unclear.

Can I pay for one Wish order with two cards?

Wish does not accept two ordinary payment methods for one order. It may let you combine an available Wish Cash balance with a card.

How do I request a Wish refund?

Use Wish Assistant. Wish says to request a refund within 30 days of delivery, or within 30 days of the Refund Eligible Date in Order History for non-delivery.
