Rippling does not publish a standard self-service subscription cart. To pay for Rippling with a Coinepay virtual card, first confirm that Rippling will accept the card for your company’s agreement. This guide walks through the quote and sign-up process, what to check before providing card details, and how to handle a declined payment.
Before you start: check the quote and payment method
Rippling sells a required Rippling Platform alongside separately selectable HR, Finance, and IT products. Products such as HRIS, Payroll, Global Payroll, Benefits Administration, Expense Management, Corporate Cards, Bill Pay, Travel, and Device Management are product names, not subscription tiers. Choose the capabilities your business needs and request a quote rather than assuming there is a fixed-price checkout.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Rippling’s US pricing page advertised a starting price of US$8 per employee per month plus a monthly base fee; its US small-business page specified a US$40 monthly base fee for its advertised starting offer. Your actual bundle, location, employee count, and Order Form may produce a different price. Check Rippling’s official pricing page and your quote before agreeing to charges.
Have your company’s real legal and billing details ready, along with the name and contact information of the person authorized to enter into the agreement. You will also need to know which products you want and whether Rippling can provide them in your location. Rippling says its Finance offering is available to US-headquartered and select international companies; confirm availability for your company rather than assuming every feature is offered everywhere.
Ask Rippling about card payment before you issue or fund a card for this purchase. Rippling’s customer terms contemplate credit-card payments, but they also provide for automatic debits from designated bank accounts, including ACH, EFT, BECS, or another recognized bank-account pre-authorized debit. The payment arrangement offered to you may depend on your agreement. For payments connected with an agreement in the EU or UK, Rippling requires a corporate, not personal, credit card. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets this requirement before you buy, and ask Rippling whether it will accept that card for your particular invoice or recurring charges. Do not infer subscription-payment acceptance from Rippling’s own Corporate Cards product; those cards serve a different purpose.
Step 1: Request a Rippling quote
- On Rippling’s official site, select the products relevant to your business and request a quote. There is no publicly documented fixed-price cart for every combination of products.
- Enter your genuine company and contact details. If you are selecting Finance products, Rippling’s published sign-up guidance describes choosing those products and activating the account; it then describes connecting a bank account and configuring approvals. That bank connection is part of the described Finance setup, not proof that a virtual card can replace it.
- Review the proposed products, employee or user counts, charges, billing frequency, and payment instructions with your Rippling representative. Ask which charges, if any, can be paid by card and whether the same method can be used for future invoices.
- Read the Order Form and the terms supplied for your purchase before accepting them. The Order Form sets your initial term; a quote alone does not establish that a card has been approved as your payment method.
Step 2: Prepare your Coinepay virtual card
Register for Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Coinepay issues virtual cards with a card number, expiry date, and CVV, managed through its self-service dashboard or mobile app. You can access the app on iOS or Google Play.
Before providing the card to Rippling, check the amount and timing of the proposed charge against the funds available for payment. Allow for any applicable taxes or other charges shown in your Rippling agreement or invoice. Use the real billing name and address associated with your business and payment details. If you are unsure which billing details to enter, check with Coinepay support rather than substituting a different address.
Card services require verification, and availability can vary by jurisdiction. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions. If you need to confirm an applicable card limit or another card-specific condition, check the Coinepay app or contact support before Rippling attempts a charge.
Step 3: Provide the card only if Rippling enables card billing
Follow the payment instructions Rippling gives you for your account or Order Form. If Rippling offers a card-payment step, enter the Coinepay card number, expiry date, and CVV in the payment form Rippling provides, along with your accurate billing details. Review the displayed amount and any authorization prompt before submitting. Keep the resulting invoice or payment confirmation with your business records.
Do not look for an assumed universal menu path such as “Billing > Payment Methods”: a current, generally applicable billing-settings path has not been established. If you already have a Rippling account, ask your Rippling administrator or Rippling support where your organization should update its designated payment method. If your agreement instead calls for a bank-account debit, arrange a permitted method with Rippling; entering virtual-card details elsewhere will not change the agreed billing instructions.
For recurring charges, confirm with Rippling whether the card can remain on file and who at your company will monitor invoices and update payment details when needed. Changing a payment method does not change the products, term, or other obligations in an accepted Order Form.
Troubleshooting a declined card payment
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Keep the date, attempted amount, and any message you see, but do not repeatedly resubmit a charge without checking the details. Rippling has not published a verified set of error-message wording for customers paying subscription invoices, so use the response you actually receive when contacting support.
| Possible cause | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Insufficient available funds | Compare the attempted charge, including applicable taxes, with the amount available for payment. If a bank debit rather than a card payment failed, review the designated bank account and contact Rippling: its terms permit retries after a rejected debit. |
| Billing details do not match | Recheck the business name, billing address, and card details you submitted. Correct genuine mistakes; do not use an invented address or another company’s details. |
| Authentication or 3-D Secure step fails | Complete any verification prompt presented during the attempt. If no prompt appears, it expires, or the attempt still fails, note what happened and contact Coinepay support and Rippling. Do not assume every attempted card payment follows the same authentication flow. |
| Merchant region or card-policy check | Ask Rippling whether your company’s location and proposed card meet its payment requirements. In the EU and UK, specifically check its corporate-credit-card requirement with Coinepay support before retrying. |
| Card payment is not enabled for the agreement | Confirm the designated method on your Order Form or invoice with Rippling. A requirement to use bank-account debit cannot be resolved by retrying the card. |
If Rippling indicates the issue is on the card side, contact Coinepay support with the attempted amount, time, and any error shown. Do not send your full card number or CVV in a general support message. If Rippling says its own billing rules blocked the transaction, ask it which payment method your agreement permits.
Managing renewal or stopping service
Check the term and renewal provisions in your Order Form rather than assuming that removing a card cancels Rippling. Rippling’s customer terms provide for automatic renewal unless either party gives written non-renewal notice at least 30 days before the term ends. Deactivating an account does not, by itself, end contractual or payment obligations. Fees are generally non-refundable, subject to the exceptions in the applicable agreement. If you intend not to renew, follow your contracting documents and send notice through the required channel in time.

Rippling sells the required Rippling Platform with selectable products and directs buyers to request a quote. Review your quoted price and Order Form before accepting.
What if my company is in the EU or UK?
Rippling’s terms require a corporate, not personal, credit card for payments connected with the agreement there. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets that requirement before you buy, and confirm acceptance with Rippling.

No. Follow your Order Form and applicable notice requirements. Rippling’s terms call for written non-renewal notice at least 30 days before the term ends.
