You can use Replit’s free Starter plan without adding a card. If you want to buy Replit Core or Replit Pro, this guide explains how to prepare a Coinepay virtual card, complete Replit’s checkout and investigate a declined payment. Check the amount and terms shown in your own checkout before confirming.
Choose the Replit plan and billing period
Replit’s current plans are Starter, Replit Core, Replit Pro and Enterprise. Starter is free and does not require a card to begin. Core and Pro have monthly and annual billing options; Pro also asks you to select a credit tier. The former Teams plan is not offered to new subscribers.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Replit advertised Core in USD at $20 per month, or $18 per month billed annually. Pro was advertised at $100 per month, or $90 per month billed annually. Annual billing is charged upfront rather than one month at a time. Taxes and the amount shown for your location may differ, so check Replit’s official pricing page and the final checkout total. Review the credit tier you select for Pro rather than assuming its checkout total matches the base advertised price.
Enterprise has custom pricing and a different setup flow. A self-service organization can review an annual credit commitment or pay-as-you-go billing; larger arrangements may involve Replit’s sales process. This guide focuses on paying for an individual Core or Pro subscription by card.
Get your Coinepay card ready
- Register and verify your identity. Create a Coinepay account through Coinepay registration and complete identity verification (KYC) before using card services. You can manage your account in the 24/7 dashboard or the Coinepay mobile app for iOS or Android.
- Locate your card details. Coinepay issues virtual cards with a card number, expiry date and CVV available after issuance. Keep these details private and enter them only in Replit’s checkout.
- Check available funds and billing details. Make sure your available balance covers the total Replit presents, including any applicable tax and the full upfront amount if you choose annual billing. Use your real name and real billing details. Check the Coinepay app for account-specific funding information or ask Coinepay support if you are unsure what billing details to use.
A virtual card is a way to enter card details online, not a promise that a particular checkout will approve them. Replit and the institutions involved in processing the payment can apply their own checks. Card issuance and fund services are provided by Coinepay’s licensed partner financial institutions.
How to pay for Replit Core
- Visit Replit’s official site and create an account, or sign in to your existing account. If Starter meets your needs, you can use it without starting a paid subscription.
- Open Replit’s pricing page and choose Replit Core. Select monthly or yearly billing. Check which billing period is selected before continuing.
- At checkout, enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV in the card fields. Enter your real billing information where requested, ensuring it is consistent with the details associated with your payment account.
- Review the plan, billing period, tax if shown, and final charge. Complete any authentication request presented during payment, then submit the purchase once.
- After checkout, open Settings → Billing in Replit to check the plan and payment information. For usage information and access to past invoices, go to Settings → Usage.
Core can also be purchased in the Replit mobile app. If you specifically want to enter your Coinepay card in Replit’s website checkout, use replit.com. Review the purchase channel’s terms before paying, because a mobile in-app purchase may follow a different billing process.
How to pay for Replit Pro
- Sign in to Replit and open its pricing page on replit.com. Replit says Pro must be purchased on its website, not in its mobile app.
- Select Replit Pro, then choose the available credit tier that fits your intended use. Review the billing period and the total displayed for that selection.
- Enter your Coinepay virtual card details and your real billing information. If checkout requests authentication, complete that step rather than repeatedly submitting the payment.
- Confirm the purchase only after checking the charge and terms. Then use Settings → Billing to inspect your plan and payment information and Settings → Usage to monitor usage and find invoices.
Subscription charges and usage charges are not necessarily the same thing. Replit’s cloud-usage price changes that began applying from customers’ first billing cycles on or after August 1, 2026 are separate from the advertised Core and Pro subscription prices. Check usage information and any applicable charges in Replit before committing to a plan.
If Replit declines the card
A message such as “Your card has been declined” or “Payment failed / card declined” does not identify a single cause. Check the attempted transaction before deciding what went wrong, and avoid rapid, repeated attempts if checkout appears to have placed a security block.
- Insufficient available balance: Compare the available amount in Coinepay with Replit’s final checkout total, not just the advertised monthly price. An annual purchase is billed upfront, and tax may affect the total. Check the app for transaction details if a charge or authorization appears.
- Billing address mismatch: Recheck the name, address and other billing fields you submitted for typing errors. Use your genuine billing details; do not substitute an address from another country to try to make a payment pass.
- Authentication or 3-D Secure step: If checkout presents a cardholder-authentication challenge, follow the instructions on screen and finish it before returning to Replit. If it fails or never appears as expected, note the time and any error text, then contact Coinepay support for help investigating the card attempt. A failed challenge does not by itself prove the card or your Replit account is ineligible.
- Merchant region or payment checks: Replit may apply checks based on the account, billing details or transaction. Use accurate information and follow its applicable terms. If the problem persists, ask Replit support whether a restriction applies to your checkout, and ask Coinepay support to review the card attempt. Do not change your stated location or use someone else’s details to get around a restriction.
If you contact support, provide the approximate transaction time, amount, the exact error message and any relevant Replit invoice or account reference. Never send your full card number or CVV in a support message. Some services are not available in every jurisdiction, and applicable restrictions must be respected.
Manage the subscription after payment
In Replit, Settings → Billing shows your plan and payment information; Settings → Usage shows usage and provides access to past invoices. Replit says an upgrade takes effect immediately, while a downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Read the effects shown before confirming a plan change.
Replit subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel through your Replit account page, but cancellation does not itself establish a refund. Replit’s general Terms describe a full refund of the most recent subscription charge when requested within 30 days of purchase with account details and an invoice number; they exclude usage-based charges, partial usage and earlier billing cycles. Do not assume that rule applies to Pro or Enterprise: their separate published agreements state that amounts paid are non-refundable. Review the terms for your selected plan before buying and contact Replit support about a charge you wish to dispute.
If you are setting up Enterprise instead, sign in with an admin account, name the organization, review its billing model and any annual credit commitment, and check the terms at checkout. Its renewal and non-renewal rules differ from an individual subscription, so confirm them before committing.

FAQ
Can I use Replit without paying?

Where can I buy Replit Pro?
Select Pro and a credit tier on the pricing page at replit.com. Replit says Pro must be purchased on its website, not in its mobile app.
Why was my Coinepay card declined at Replit?
The error alone does not establish a cause. Check available funds, billing details and any authentication request. If it persists, ask Coinepay to review the card attempt and Replit to check the checkout.
Where do I find my Replit invoice?
Sign in to Replit and open Settings → Usage for access to past invoices. Settings → Billing shows your plan and payment information.
Will cancelling Replit Pro give me a refund?
Cancellation does not itself establish a refund. Replit’s separate Pro agreement says amounts paid are non-refundable; review your terms and contact Replit support about a specific charge.
