You can sign up for Read AI without a card, then choose a paid plan if you need more than the Free plan offers. This guide walks through Read AI’s upgrade flow, what to check before entering a Coinepay virtual card, and how to investigate a payment that does not go through. Whether a card is accepted depends on Read AI’s checkout and payment checks.

What you need before you start

  • A Read AI account: You can register with a supported single-sign-on option or an email address and password. Read AI may ask you to verify your email and connect a calendar during onboarding.
  • A Coinepay account and virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Coinepay provides the card number, expiry date and CVV in its self-service dashboard and mobile app.
  • Your real billing information: Use your actual billing name and address. Read AI requires a valid billing address in a country available to select at checkout. Do not choose another country or enter an invented address to get past a payment check.
  • Enough funds for the checkout total: Review the charge, including any applicable tax, before confirming. Keep enough funds available for the amount Read AI presents, rather than relying only on the advertised plan price.

Read AI’s payment-method guidance lists credit card, Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and Pix in Brazil. The availability of wallet options depends on browser setup and region; Read AI notes that not all are available in India. Its published guidance does not establish whether a particular virtual card will pass checkout. If you need to confirm whether your Coinepay card meets a checkout requirement before paying, contact Coinepay support. PayPal is not an accepted Read AI payment option.

Choose the right Read AI plan

Read AI’s standard plans are Free, Pro, Enterprise and Enterprise+. Pricing is per user or license, not a single flat charge for an entire Workspace. At the time of writing (October 2026), Read AI displayed these USD prices:

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing
Free$0; five meeting reports per monthNo card required
Pro$19.75 per user/month$15 per user/month, billed as $180 per year
Enterprise$29.75 per user/month$22.50 per user/month, billed as $270 per year
Enterprise+$39.75 per user/month$29.75 per user/month, billed as $357 per year

Prices and plan availability can change. Check Read AI’s official plans and pricing page and the final checkout total before purchasing; displayed prices exclude applicable taxes. Read AI also lists separate EDU and EDU + Video annual plans for eligible .edu email accounts. If you are buying for a team, the Workspace owner pays centrally, each user needs a license, and the Workspace’s licenses share a plan and billing cycle. Coordinate with the owner before attempting to pay for a Workspace subscription yourself.

New Read AI accounts receive a free Enterprise trial without entering a card and move to Free when the trial ends. You can explore the account first, then decide whether to upgrade. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is charged when you complete it, so check the billing term and number of licenses carefully.

How to pay for Read AI with your Coinepay virtual card

  1. Set up Coinepay. Register, complete identity verification and access your virtual card details in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app. Check that you have sufficient available funds for the purchase you intend to make.
  2. Create or open your Read AI account. Go to the official Read AI site, sign up using an offered single-sign-on option or email and password, and complete any email-verification and calendar-connection prompts. If you already have an account, sign in instead.
  3. Open billing settings. In Read AI, use the bottom-left account menu and select Plan & Billing, then Change plan and Compare Plans. Choose the plan and billing term that match your needs.
  4. Review who and what you are paying for. If this is a Workspace purchase, confirm the license count and billing responsibility with the Workspace owner. Review whether you selected monthly or annual billing before continuing.
  5. Enter payment and billing details. If card payment is offered at checkout, enter your Coinepay virtual card number and expiry date and provide any additional card details requested, such as the CVV. Enter your real billing address as requested. Do not assume an alternative wallet option will appear in your browser or region.
  6. Check the final order. Read AI presents order, payment and tax details for review. Confirm the total and billing details before submitting the purchase. Complete any payment verification you are asked to perform; do not repeatedly submit the order if its status is unclear.
  7. Verify the result. Look for Read AI’s payment confirmation or emailed receipt. You can check Plan & Billing → Billing History → View Invoice for an invoice after a successful payment. If the account still shows the old plan, check Billing History before trying again.

If the card is declined or checkout does not complete

A failed checkout does not, by itself, identify the cause. Start by checking that the payment method is valid and that you entered its details correctly. Then use the following checks to narrow down the problem:

  • Insufficient available funds: Compare the available funds shown in Coinepay with Read AI’s final checkout total, including taxes. An annual plan is billed for the year, not one month at the monthly equivalent shown in pricing. If funds are insufficient, add funds through the options available in your Coinepay account before trying again.
  • Billing address mismatch: Check your name, address and other requested billing fields for mistakes. Use your real details and a country Read AI makes available at checkout. If your legitimate address cannot be entered, contact Read AI support rather than substituting an address from another region.
  • 3-D Secure or another verification step: If checkout requests authentication, follow the prompt and check the Coinepay app or dashboard for any action it presents. If authentication fails or no prompt appears, record what you saw and ask Coinepay support to help investigate. Do not assume that every checkout uses the same verification flow.
  • Merchant region or payment-method checks: A country selector, regional payment-method availability or a checkout eligibility check can prevent a purchase. Read AI requires a valid billing address in a selectable country and applies restrictions described in its terms. Neither changing your stated location nor using someone else’s details is an appropriate fix. Ask Read AI support about its checkout requirements, and contact Coinepay support if you need help determining whether your card meets them.

If you see “Free plan quota exceeded” or “Out of quota,” that refers to Read AI’s report allowance; it is not an established card-decline message. Check your plan and any failed invoices under Plan & Billing → Billing History. For a payment problem that remains unresolved, give Read AI support the date, the plan you attempted to buy and any checkout message, but do not send your full card number or CVV in a support message.

Manage renewal, receipts and cancellation

Read AI subscriptions renew automatically. To find a receipt or invoice, open Plan & Billing → Billing History → View Invoice; Read AI also emails a receipt following a successful payment. Keeping an invoice can help if you need to discuss a charge or a failed renewal with support.

If you do not want another paid period, cancel before renewal through Plan & Billing → Cancel plan → Downgrade to Free. Paid features remain available until the current period ends. Workspace members who cannot access billing controls should ask the Workspace owner to manage the plan. Read AI generally does not refund unused subscription time, although its help guidance describes an exception for a service issue that prevented advertised use. Review its current terms and your billing page before making changes.

FAQ

Do I need a card to try Read AI?

No. Read AI offers a Free plan without a card, and new accounts receive a free Enterprise trial before moving to Free when it ends.

Where do I enter my Coinepay card for a Read AI upgrade?

Sign in to Read AI, then open the bottom-left account menu → Plan & Billing → Change plan → Compare Plans. If card payment is offered, enter your card and real billing details at checkout.

Why was my Read AI payment declined?

Check available funds against the final total, review your card and real billing details, complete any authentication prompt, and check for regional checkout requirements. Review Billing History for a failed invoice.

Does “Out of quota” mean my card was declined?

Not necessarily. In Read AI, “Out of quota” can refer to your meeting-report allowance. Check your plan and Billing History to determine whether there was also a payment problem.

How do I stop my Read AI plan from renewing?

Before renewal, go to Plan & Billing → Cancel plan → Downgrade to Free. If a Workspace owner manages billing, ask them to make the change.
