Paying for Nextcloud depends on which service you choose. Nextcloud GmbH sells Enterprise subscriptions through a quote process, while its personal sign-up directs you to independent hosting providers. For smaller organizations, Nextcloud points to Nextcloud One, a separately operated hosted service. This guide explains how to prepare a Coinepay virtual card, follow the relevant order process, and troubleshoot a declined payment without assuming every Nextcloud seller uses the same checkout.

Choose the right Nextcloud purchase route

Start by identifying who will bill you. If you choose a provider through Nextcloud’s personal-account sign-up, that provider sets its own plans, payment methods and billing terms. Check the provider’s checkout and policies rather than treating them as Nextcloud GmbH’s terms.

Nextcloud GmbH lists Standard, Premium and Ultimate Enterprise subscriptions. To purchase one, contact Nextcloud GmbH or a partner for a quote; its FAQ does not describe an online, self-service card checkout. Nextcloud directs organizations with fewer than 100 users toward Nextcloud One. Nextcloud One’s terms identify epiKshare GmbH as the seller, so its order and cancellation terms are separate from an Enterprise quote.

Nextcloud One’s pricing page lists For Single Users for 1–4 users and For Teams for five or more. At the time of writing (October 2026), it showed For Single Users at €15 per user/month on a yearly subscription or €18 with monthly billing, and For Teams at €13 per user/month on a yearly subscription or €16 with monthly billing. Check the official Nextcloud One pricing page and your order review for current prices, taxes, package details and the amount due before you pay.

What you need before checkout

  • A Coinepay account: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. You can manage your card in the 24/7 self-service dashboard or the Coinepay mobile app for iOS or Android.
  • Your virtual card details: Coinepay issues an instant card number, expiry date and CVV. Have them ready only for a legitimate payment form.
  • Enough available funds: Check the amount shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes or add-ons, and allow for currency conversion or authorization differences shown in your Coinepay account.
  • Real order details: Use your own contact information and accurate billing address. For Nextcloud One, be ready to choose a domain as well as a package and billing interval.
  • Payment-method confirmation: Nextcloud One’s pages describe credit-card payment, but the checked information does not establish which card types or networks its checkout accepts. Its pages also differ on whether direct debit is offered. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the seller’s credit-card requirement before you buy, and verify the available method with Nextcloud One.

How to order Nextcloud One

  1. Review the official offer. Visit Nextcloud One’s pricing and purchase pages. Compare For Single Users and For Teams against your user count. Confirm the package presented in the live order flow rather than relying on a pricing-page label alone.
  2. Select your order options. Follow the purchase flow’s prompts for a package, billing interval and any add-ons. Review the recurring commitment: monthly billing and a yearly subscription are not the same obligation.
  3. Enter the requested domain and customer details. Provide your real contact details and billing address. If you already have a Nextcloud One account, use the existing-customer login option if offered so the order can be linked to it.
  4. Review the order. Check the selected users, add-ons, billing interval and displayed total. If the package name, payment method or final amount is unclear, ask Nextcloud One to clarify it before proceeding.
  5. Pay if the checkout offers a compatible card option. Enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry and CVV in the seller’s payment form, then complete any verification requested by the payment flow. Nextcloud One’s terms say card payments are processed through Stripe, but the final live payment step could not be confirmed in the checked purchase flow. Follow the instructions actually shown to you; do not assume a card will be accepted.
  6. Check the result. Save the seller’s order confirmation and review the corresponding activity in Coinepay. If the page times out or shows an error, check whether an order was created before attempting another payment.

For Nextcloud Enterprise, request a quote from Nextcloud GmbH or its partner instead of using these Nextcloud One checkout steps. Ask the seller which payment methods it offers for your specific agreement. For an independent personal-account host, follow that host’s sign-up and checkout instructions.

If your card is declined

Do not repeatedly submit the same payment without checking what happened. Record the exact on-screen message, the amount and currency, and whether Nextcloud One created an order. No Nextcloud One-specific customer-facing decline message was confirmed, so the checks below describe possible causes rather than a diagnosis.

Insufficient available balance

Compare your available Coinepay funds with the full amount at order review, not just the advertised per-user price. Taxes, add-ons, a yearly commitment or a difference between the displayed amount and the authorization can matter. Check your Coinepay dashboard or app before trying again. If the displayed amount is unexpected, confirm it with the seller first.

Billing address mismatch

Check that the name and billing address entered with the order accurately match the details associated with your payment account. Correct ordinary typing mistakes, but do not substitute an invented address or another person’s details. If the seller requires a specific billing format, ask its support team how to enter your genuine address.

3-D Secure or other payment verification

If a verification prompt appears, complete it using the instructions presented by the payment flow. A closed, expired or unsuccessful prompt may leave the purchase unfinished. Check both the seller’s order status and your Coinepay activity before retrying. If verification is unavailable or keeps failing, contact Coinepay support with the time and amount, without sending your CVV.

Seller card or region checks

Nextcloud One describes credit-card payment but does not establish acceptance of every virtual card. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the seller’s requirement before buying, and ask Nextcloud One whether it can accept your payment method. A seller or processor may also check billing country or other order details. Use your real location and information; if your order is ineligible, ask the seller what compliant payment options are available. Nextcloud One’s terms discuss how a consumer cancellation right applies to certain customers outside the EU, but that provision is not, by itself, a country-by-country purchase ban.

Manage the subscription after payment

Nextcloud One links My Account to its self-service portal. Its FAQ places trial conversion and subscription or storage adjustments there. Sign in to review the options shown for your order; if you cannot find a billing or card-change control, contact Nextcloud One rather than assuming a particular menu path exists.

If you use a trial, note the deadline: Nextcloud One says it lasts 30 days from activation and must be cancelled in the self-service portal at least eight days before expiry to avoid conversion to a paid monthly one-user subscription. For paid subscriptions, its terms allow termination notice in writing, by email or through the website’s cancellation feature. They also state that already-booked annual user-account costs cannot be credited or refunded. Monthly user reductions require written notice to its support team at least 14 days before month-end to affect the next billing run. Read the terms applicable to your order before changing or cancelling it.

Nextcloud Enterprise uses a quote process through Nextcloud GmbH or a partner. Ask the seller which payment methods are available for your agreement.

Nextcloud One describes credit-card payment, but acceptance of a particular virtual card is not established. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement, and check with the seller before buying.

Where do I manage a Nextcloud One subscription?

Use the My Account self-service portal linked from Nextcloud One. Its FAQ places trial conversion and subscription or storage adjustments there.
