You can start an ElevenLabs account on its Free tier, then choose a paid plan on the ElevenLabs website if you need more access. This guide explains how to prepare a Coinepay virtual card, work through website checkout, and investigate a payment that does not go through. Card acceptance depends on ElevenLabs’ checkout and payment checks, so review the final amount before confirming.

What you need before checkout

  • An ElevenLabs account. Sign up on the ElevenLabs website with your email and password or an available sign-in provider. If you use email, complete the verification step. New accounts start on Free.
  • A Coinepay account ready for card use. Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using its virtual card services. You can manage your card in the 24/7 self-service dashboard or the Coinepay mobile app. The virtual card provides a card number, expiry date and CVV.
  • Enough available funds. Account for the amount displayed at ElevenLabs checkout, including any applicable taxes, levies or duties. If choosing annual billing, check the full upfront charge rather than budgeting for just one month.
  • Your real billing information. Use your own name and accurate billing details. Have access to any authentication method requested during payment.

ElevenLabs lists credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and, in India, UPI among its payment methods. It says prepaid cards may be attempted but are not directly supported. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets ElevenLabs’ card requirements before you buy. Neither a virtual card nor a successful sign-up establishes that a particular payment will be accepted.

Choose an ElevenLabs plan and billing period

ElevenLabs lists Free, Starter, Creator, Pro, Scale, Business and Enterprise across ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents and ElevenAPI. At the time of writing (October 2026), its published USD monthly list prices were $0 for Free, $6 for Starter, $22 for Creator, $99 for Pro, $299 for Scale and $990 for Business; Enterprise pricing was custom. Published prices exclude applicable taxes, levies and duties. ElevenLabs may also display introductory offers, so check its official pricing page and the checkout summary for the amount due now and the later renewal price.

ElevenLabs says annual billing is charged at an amount equal to ten regular monthly payments. Choose monthly or annual billing deliberately: subscriptions renew automatically from the subscription date unless cancelled. At the time of writing (October 2026), ElevenLabs said customers in India were offered INR automatically at checkout, while customers elsewhere were charged in USD. Rely on the currency and total shown in your own checkout rather than converting a list price yourself.

How to pay on the ElevenLabs website

  1. Create or open your ElevenLabs account. On the ElevenLabs website, sign up or sign in. Verify your email if you registered with email and password. Facebook and GitHub sign-in are no longer supported according to ElevenLabs’ current account guidance.
  2. Pick your plan. Open the ElevenLabs pricing page, select the tier you need and choose monthly or annual billing. Review what the selected tier includes for your intended Creative, Agents or API use.
  3. Check your Coinepay card. Open the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app and locate your virtual card’s number, expiry date and CVV. Check that you have enough available funds for the checkout total.
  4. Enter payment and billing details. Follow the payment options shown at ElevenLabs checkout. If a card-entry option is presented, enter your virtual card details and your real billing information. Make sure the billing details are accurate rather than changing your address to match a different market.
  5. Complete any authentication request. If checkout asks for an additional cardholder verification step, follow the prompt and return to the payment page. Do not assume an unfinished authentication prompt means the purchase succeeded.
  6. Confirm the purchase. Read the amount, currency, billing period, taxes and renewal terms before submitting. Afterward, use profile icon → Subscription on the ElevenLabs website to check your plan and billing status. If the page does not show an active subscription, inspect your billing information or contact the appropriate support team before repeatedly retrying.

These steps describe a website purchase; the screens you see may differ. A subscription bought inside the ElevenLabs iOS or Android app is billed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play instead of ElevenLabs website billing. If you intend to enter card details through ElevenLabs’ website checkout, begin on the website rather than assuming an in-app purchase uses the same route.

Optional: pay for additional API or Agents usage

ElevenLabs also offers Pay As You Go (PAYG), a prepaid usage option available alongside self-serve tiers, including Free. It is not another underlying subscription tier, although an activated account may display “Pay As You Go.” To top up on the website, go to Developer settings → Top Up, enter an amount and confirm with a saved payment method. If you have not saved one, the first top-up prompts you to add a payment method.

At the time of writing (October 2026), the stated PAYG minimum top-up was $5 or ₹500. Prepaid credits expire after 12 months and are generally non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Check the amount and terms before topping up. App-store subscriptions cannot use PAYG, so do not treat an in-app subscription purchase as a PAYG top-up.

Why was my ElevenLabs card payment declined?

ElevenLabs identifies insufficient funds, incomplete cardholder verification and a bank decline as possible causes of a failed payment. Users have also reported seeing “Your card has been declined.” or “Something went wrong, and we were unable to complete your request.” Those messages do not, by themselves, identify the cause. Work through these checks without repeatedly submitting an unchanged payment:

  • Insufficient balance: Compare your available funds with the final checkout amount, not just the advertised plan price. Annual billing and applicable taxes can make the amount due higher than expected. Check the card’s available balance in Coinepay before trying again.
  • Billing address mismatch: Review the billing name and address entered at ElevenLabs and the real details associated with your payment method. Correct typos or outdated information; do not enter an invented address.
  • 3-D Secure or other authentication: If an additional bank or processor verification prompt appears, complete it. An interrupted, dismissed or expired prompt can leave payment unfinished. If the prompt never arrives or cannot be completed, contact Coinepay support with the time and amount of the attempt.
  • Merchant region or card checks: ElevenLabs and its payment processor may apply payment checks, and ElevenLabs’ terms exclude users in sanctioned or embargoed territories. Use your actual location and billing details. Contact Coinepay support to ask whether your card meets the merchant’s requirements; if checkout reports an account or location restriction, ask ElevenLabs support about your eligibility. Do not try to bypass regional restrictions.
  • An unresolved invoice: If the subscription page or billing area shows an outstanding payment, check its status before making another purchase attempt. For a website subscription, Billing → Manage billing information is ElevenLabs’ documented route for updating billing details and payment methods. If the issue remains unclear, provide ElevenLabs support with the displayed message and relevant invoice details; Coinepay support can help review the card-side attempt.

Manage renewal, cancellation and refunds

For a website subscription, open profile icon → Subscription to review your plan. To cancel, use profile icon → Subscription → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, when the account moves to Free and unused subscription credits expire. Cancel before the cycle ends: ElevenLabs says a cycle that has already begun may remain payable even if its invoice has not yet been paid.

ElevenLabs’ help policy says a refund request is eligible if made within 14 days of payment and no credit quota was used for that period. Request it through ElevenLabs support using your account email address; eligibility remains subject to its applicable terms. If you purchased through Apple or Google, use that store’s cancellation or refund process instead. ElevenLabs says it cannot cancel an app-store subscription itself.

FAQ

Does ElevenLabs accept every Coinepay virtual card?

Acceptance is not assured. ElevenLabs says prepaid cards may be attempted but are not directly supported. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the merchant’s requirements before buying.

Where can I update my payment method for an ElevenLabs website subscription?

On the ElevenLabs website, go to Billing → Manage billing information. Purchases made inside the iOS or Android app are managed through Apple or Google instead.

What should I do if ElevenLabs says my card was declined?

Check the available balance against the full checkout total, correct any billing-detail errors and complete any authentication prompt. If it still fails, contact Coinepay support about the card attempt and ElevenLabs support about the checkout or invoice.

Can I use a website subscription to buy Pay As You Go credits?

PAYG is available alongside self-serve tiers. On the ElevenLabs website, go to Developer settings → Top Up and follow the prompts. App-store subscriptions cannot use PAYG.
