Dashlane Premium is an annual personal subscription. If you want to pay on Dashlane’s website with a Coinepay virtual card, prepare your card details and check the full checkout total before completing the purchase. This guide covers the website checkout, common payment problems, and where to manage the subscription afterward.
What to check before you subscribe
Dashlane’s current personal plans are Premium for one person and Friends & Family for up to 10 people. New personal subscriptions are annual rather than monthly. If you only need Premium for yourself, select Premium—not a business plan such as Omnix® Password Management.
- A Dashlane account email: Use an email address you can access for account and payment messages.
- A Coinepay account and virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. You can find your virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV in the Coinepay app or self-service dashboard.
- Enough funds for the checkout total: New Premium subscriptions are annual. Review the price and any taxes shown by Dashlane, then check the available funds and any applicable card settings in Coinepay before paying.
- Your real billing details: Enter your actual name and billing address, including the correct postal or ZIP code. Use details consistent with your payment information rather than an address chosen to obtain another region’s price.
Prices vary by region and purchase channel, so check Dashlane’s official personal pricing page and the order summary for your current website price. App Store listings are not website checkout prices. Dashlane says EU and UK personal purchases may incur VAT; applicable US sales tax is determined by the billing ZIP code and displayed at checkout. Confirm the final amount before authorizing payment.
How to buy Dashlane Premium on its website
- Open Dashlane’s official Premium purchase page. Choose the personal Premium plan. If you intend to cover a household instead, review Friends & Family before continuing.
- Enter your email address. Use the address you want associated with your Dashlane subscription. Follow any account prompts displayed during sign-up.
- Review the order summary. Check that it shows Premium, the annual billing period, your region’s price, and any applicable tax. Do not rely on a price you saw in a different country’s app store.
- Enter your Coinepay virtual card details. Copy the card number, expiry date, and CVV from your Coinepay dashboard or mobile app into Dashlane’s payment fields. Fill in the requested billing details accurately.
- Read the terms and complete checkout. Dashlane’s checkout requires agreement to its terms before you select Complete my purchase. If your payment provider asks for verification, follow the legitimate prompt and wait for the result rather than repeatedly submitting the form.
- Check the outcome. Look for a Dashlane purchase confirmation and verify the subscription in your account. If the checkout result is unclear, check both Dashlane and your Coinepay transaction activity before trying again, so you do not accidentally make a second purchase.
Dashlane describes its website payment option as credit cards; purchases are also available through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Whether a particular virtual card is eligible for a specific checkout cannot be assumed. If Dashlane states a card-type or card-origin requirement during purchase, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before you buy. New website purchases with PayPal are available only to UK residents; PayPal is not part of the card steps above.
What if you start with a Dashlane trial?
Dashlane advertises a 14-day trial of selected Premium features. An ordinary trial started without payment details ends without a charge. A special trial that asks for payment details must be cancelled before its end if you do not want to be charged. Read the terms shown for your particular trial and note its end date; do not assume every trial follows the same billing process.
Why was your card declined or the checkout interrupted?
A failed payment does not by itself identify the cause. Dashlane’s personal checkout may show “Invalid card number,” “Invalid expiry date,” or “Invalid security code.” These are form-validation messages: first compare each entry with the details in Coinepay. They are not confirmed explanations of an issuer decline. For other failures, work through the checks below.
Insufficient available funds or a changed annual total
Compare your available funds with Dashlane’s complete order summary, including any tax. If you are renewing, check the current renewal amount rather than assuming it matches your previous payment. Dashlane began increasing personal-plan prices in mid-February 2026 and says affected existing customers are notified before renewal. Check the Coinepay app for your available funds and applicable settings; contact support if a card transaction remains unexplained.
Billing details do not match
Recheck your name, billing address, and postal or ZIP code for typing errors. Use your genuine details. A billing-address mismatch is a possible reason to investigate, not a diagnosis of every decline. If you need to correct the payment information on an existing website-card subscription, open Dashlane’s web app and go to Vault menu → Subscription → Update payment method.
A verification step was missed
If checkout requests a card verification step, complete it through the legitimate prompt. Check for any verification code sent to your email; Dashlane specifically recommends checking for an emailed code when troubleshooting payment. If a 3-D Secure prompt appears but fails or never completes, check your device’s time settings, try another browser, and ask Coinepay support to review the attempted transaction. Do not share a verification code with anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.
Merchant region or card eligibility checks
Check that your selected region, actual billing details, and the purchase option you chose are consistent. Dashlane prohibits use in US-embargoed countries or contrary to US export law, and some features are unavailable in some jurisdictions. Do not try to bypass regional or payment checks. If checkout specifies eligible card types or countries, contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets the requirement before attempting payment again. For a region-related Dashlane account question, contact Dashlane directly.
If the form still fails, Dashlane also suggests trying another browser or card. Where the payment result is uncertain, first review your Dashlane subscription status and Coinepay transaction activity. Give support the error text and transaction time, but never send your full card number or CVV in a support message.
Manage payment details, cancellation, and refunds
For a Premium subscription bought by card on Dashlane’s website, go to Vault menu → Subscription → Update payment method in the Dashlane web app to change payment details or billing address. To stop automatic renewal, use Vault menu → Subscription → Cancel your subscription. Dashlane says you can cancel a personal subscription at any time and keep access through the paid period.
The purchase channel matters. If you paid through Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or PayPal, manage the payment method and cancellation with that provider rather than through the website-card controls. Check the provider shown on your receipt if you are unsure where you subscribed.
Dashlane’s terms allow a full refund of an annual subscription when requested within 30 days of its start or renewal. Dashlane instructs customers to cancel and request the refund; website-card customers can do so in the web app, while Apple purchasers are directed to Apple. Review your purchase date and Dashlane’s current instructions before submitting a request.

FAQ
Can I pay monthly for a new Dashlane Premium subscription?
No. Dashlane says new personal subscriptions, including Premium, are annual.
Will a Coinepay virtual card work at Dashlane checkout?
Card eligibility depends on the checkout requirements and payment checks. If Dashlane specifies a card-type or card-origin requirement, ask Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before buying.
What does “Invalid security code” mean at checkout?
It is a form-validation message. Compare the CVV you entered with the one shown for your card in Coinepay; the message is not a confirmed issuer-decline diagnosis.
Where do I change the card for my Dashlane Premium renewal?
For a website-card purchase, use Dashlane’s web app: Vault menu → Subscription → Update payment method. For an App Store, Google Play, or PayPal purchase, manage payment details with that provider.
Do I have to cancel a Dashlane Premium trial to avoid a charge?
An ordinary trial begun without payment details ends without a charge. If a special trial requires payment details, cancel before it ends to avoid a charge.
