Corriere della Sera is Italy's long-running daily, and its digital subscriptions unlock Corriere.it articles, the historical archive, the digital newspaper and supplements like La Lettura. If you want to pay with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how to subscribe on abbonamenti.corriere.it, and how to troubleshoot a declined payment.

Everything here reflects the public pricing list and payment FAQ reviewed on 21 October 2026. Prices and plan details can change, so always confirm the current figures on Corriere's own subscription pages before you buy.

What you need before you start

  • A verified Coinepay account. Register, complete identity verification (KYC) and issue a virtual card from the Coinepay app or dashboard. Your card number, expiry date and CVV appear instantly once the card is created. You can create an account and download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Funds on the card. Make sure the card balance covers the plan you pick plus any currency conversion. Corriere lists prices in euros, so a non-euro card may convert at checkout.
  • Your real billing details. Use the name and billing address tied to your Coinepay card. Mismatched details are a common cause of declines.
  • A Corriere site account. Corriere requires a registered account to use any subscription, so keep your email and password handy.

Corriere lists CartaSi, Visa, Mastercard and American Express as accepted card networks. Whether a specific debit, prepaid or foreign-issued card is accepted is not something the public FAQ confirms. If you are unsure your Coinepay card fits a requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details before you buy.

Choosing a Corriere plan

Pick the subscription that matches how you read. At the time of writing (October 2026) the public euro list showed:

PlanWhat it coversList price
Naviga+Unlimited Corriere.it articles and the historical archive€2.50/week, €9.99/month or €99.99/year
Naviga+ FamilyTwo subscriptions to share€15.99/month or €149.99/year
Digita+Digital newspaper, local editions and supplements€5.99/week, €19.99/month or €199.99/year (plus €1.70 single issue)
Tutto+Digital newspaper plus site articles and the archive€7.99/week, €24.99/month or €249.99/year
La LetturaThe cultural supplement€3.99/month or €39.99/year (homepage showed one week at €0 first)

Corriere Giochi and Naviga Premium are also named in its FAQ, but their current standalone prices were not confirmed in the list reviewed. Country-specific non-euro checkout totals were also not confirmed, so treat the figures above as the published euro list rather than a quote for your account. Always check the official pricing page at abbonamenti.corriere.it for the live price.

Step-by-step: subscribe and pay

  1. Issue your virtual card in Coinepay. Open the app or dashboard, create the card and note the card number, expiry and CVV. Confirm the balance covers your chosen plan.
  2. Go to abbonamenti.corriere.it and pick a plan. Select Naviga+, Digita+, Tutto+ or another option from the offer page or the full price list.
  3. Sign in or create your Corriere account. You need a registered account to use the subscription, so complete this before payment.
  4. Select the payment method. At web checkout, Corriere's FAQ lists credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, Amazon Pay and Klarna. Choose the card option to use your Coinepay card. PayPal, Amazon Pay and Klarna redirect to their own account pages instead.
  5. Apply a promo code if you have one. Enter it in the "Hai un codice promozionale?" field before confirming.
  6. Enter your card details. Type the Coinepay card number, expiry and CVV, with the billing name and address that match your Coinepay profile. (Corriere notes its checkout does not request the security code for American Express cards.)
  7. Complete any 3-D Secure step. If prompted, approve the payment in your Coinepay app to finish the authentication.
  8. Confirm and check your account. After payment succeeds, your subscription should activate on your Corriere account. If you chose bank transfer instead, the transfer details appear on the final page.

Managing the card on renewal

Subscriptions purchased on the web renew automatically. To change which card is charged at renewal, sign in and go to Profilo Utente → Pagamenti, then use the "gestisci metodo di pagamento" control to update the stored method. Keep enough balance on your Coinepay card ahead of the renewal date, or switch to a funded card in advance so a renewal does not fail.

If you subscribed inside a mobile app instead of the website, billing is handled by that store: Apple purchases are managed in your Apple account and Play Store purchases in your Google account. Corriere's FAQ notes store-based cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before renewal.

Troubleshooting a declined card

If the payment does not go through, work through the usual causes one at a time.

"Violazione sicurezza" (security violation)

Corriere identifies this error with a card that is not enabled for web purchases or lacks the required virtual-card profile, and it advises checking with the issuing bank. Because Coinepay cards are issued through licensed partner financial institutions, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is set up for online purchases before trying again.

Insufficient balance

Euro pricing plus any conversion may push the total above your available balance. Top up the card in the Coinepay app and leave a small buffer for currency conversion, then retry.

Billing address mismatch

Enter the exact billing name and address on file for your Coinepay card. A mismatch between what you type and what the card issuer holds is a frequent reason a card is rejected at checkout.

3-D Secure not completed

If an authentication prompt appears and times out, the payment fails. Keep your Coinepay app open and approve the request promptly. If no prompt arrives, check your app notifications and try the payment again.

Merchant region checks

Corriere displays its list in euros and, for print subscriptions abroad, directs customers to its overseas-subscription provider while pointing to digital subscriptions as the immediate-reading option. A country-by-country limit on digital sign-up was not confirmed in the notes reviewed. If a regional check blocks your card, use your real details and the plan available for your location rather than trying to disguise where you are. Coinepay cannot bypass a merchant's regional or payment checks, and you should always pay with your genuine identity.

Cancellations and refunds

Corriere's FAQ says recurring web subscriptions can be deactivated through its cancellation link or customer service. Under its July 2025 terms, ordinary deactivation leaves access until the paid period ends and does not by itself entitle you to a refund; a separate 14-day withdrawal process is described, with digital-content exceptions. Corriere lists 3 May 2026 as the effective date of its newest subscription terms, so read the current terms on corriere.it before relying on the older wording.

Getting help

For anything about your Coinepay card itself — issuing a card, checking the balance, approving 3-D Secure or confirming the card is enabled for online purchases — reach the team through Coinepay support or Telegram. For plan details, billing records and cancellations, use Corriere's own account pages and customer service.
