The Peloton App gives you Peloton's library of classes without owning a Bike, Tread or Row. If you want to pay for it with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the web checkout works and how to fix the most common reasons a card gets declined. It covers the single-user app tiers only, not the All-Access Membership that comes with Peloton equipment.

Peloton App plans you can pay for

Peloton's two main app membership tiers are Peloton App One and Peloton App+. Both are single-user memberships. App One includes three cardio-equipment classes per month; App+ removes that class limit. Neither app tier includes Lanebreak or Scenic classes, which are tied to Peloton hardware. App+ also bundles Peloton Strength+ (otherwise a separate app membership) at no extra charge.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Peloton announced US$15.99/month for App One and US$28.99/month for App+ in the United States, effective October 2025, though its own help pages have listed inconsistent App One web prices. Other markets differ: a Peloton page shows £12.99 (App One) and £24 (App+) in the UK, €12.99 and €28.99 in Germany, A$16.99 and A$35 in Australia, and a CA$16.99 starting price in Canada. Annual pricing was not reliably confirmed. Because these figures change and vary by region, always check the price shown on Peloton's official membership page and at checkout before you confirm.

What you need before you start

  • A verified Coinepay account. Register at the Coinepay sign-up page and complete identity verification (KYC) before you try to create a card.
  • A Coinepay virtual card issued in your dashboard, with its card number, expiry date and CVV visible in the Coinepay app.
  • Enough balance on the card to cover the plan you choose, plus any small authorization hold Peloton may place.
  • Your real billing details. Use the name and billing address that match your Coinepay account — do not enter invented details.
  • A Peloton account email, or your existing login if you have one.

Peloton's US membership help says it accepts credit, debit and prepaid cards with a US billing address in that market. If you are buying in the US, your card's billing country must match. If you are unsure whether your Coinepay card meets a regional requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm before you buy.

Step-by-step: subscribe on the Peloton website

Buying directly on Peloton's website (rather than through an app store) means Peloton bills your card and you manage the card from your Peloton account. This is usually the smoothest route for a virtual card.

  1. Go to the official Peloton site (onepeloton.com) and open the Membership section. Choose your region if prompted so prices and terms are correct for your location.
  2. Select App One or App+. Peloton advertises a 30-day trial for eligible new paid app members; a payment method is still required and the plan bills automatically after the trial unless you cancel first.
  3. Enter your email or log in to your Peloton account.
  4. Provide your billing details and your payment method. Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV exactly as shown in the Coinepay app, and the billing address linked to your account.
  5. Review the checkout summary. Peloton's checkout shows the selected subscription and the amount you are authorizing.
  6. Authorize the recurring charge and submit. If your bank or Coinepay triggers a 3-D Secure confirmation, approve it (see troubleshooting below).

Once the payment succeeds, open the Peloton App on iOS or Android and sign in with the same account to start your classes.

Buying through Apple or Google Play instead

If you subscribe inside the Peloton App through Apple or Google Play, that store handles billing and payment changes — not your Coinepay card directly. In that case you manage or change tiers from You → More → Manage Memberships in the app, which routes you to the third-party store. To pay with your Coinepay card on file, the web checkout above is the clearer path.

Managing your card and membership after sign-up

For a membership billed directly by Peloton, you can find and manage it at account.onepeloton.com/mymembership. To update the saved card, go to account.onepeloton.com, open "Payment methods on file" and select the pencil icon to edit. If you ever replace your Coinepay card, update it here before the next renewal date so the charge does not fail.

Troubleshooting a declined Coinepay card

Peloton's terms list overdue payment as a reason a membership can be suspended or terminated, and some members have reported a card being labelled "invalid" even when it seemed usable. A specific App error-code list is not published, so work through the common causes below. None of these are specific to Coinepay — they apply to any card.

Insufficient balance

Confirm your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the plan amount in the currency Peloton charges, plus any temporary authorization hold. Top up in the Coinepay app and try again. Remember that currency conversion can make the charged amount slightly different from the sticker price.

Billing address mismatch

The billing address you type at checkout must match the address on your Coinepay account. A mismatch is a frequent cause of a silent decline. In the US market, Peloton requires a US billing address — if that does not match your card, the charge will not go through, so check this with Coinepay support before buying.

3-D Secure / verification step

Some card payments trigger a 3-D Secure confirmation. Make sure you can receive and approve it through the Coinepay app or your chosen verification method at the moment you check out. If the prompt times out, the payment may be rejected; restart checkout and complete the confirmation promptly.

Merchant region checks

Peloton sells its App in markets including the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia and Austria; availability elsewhere is not guaranteed. Make sure you are on the correct regional Peloton store for where you actually live and are billed. Do not use tools to disguise your location — that breaches Peloton's terms and can cause declines or account problems.

Card details or network

Re-enter the card number, expiry and CVV carefully. Peloton's general payment page names Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover; a full country-by-country brand list for App subscriptions is not confirmed. If you have checked balance, address and verification and the charge still fails, contact Coinepay support with the date and amount so they can see whether the attempt reached the card.

Cancellations and refunds

A membership billed directly by Peloton can be changed or ended at onepeloton.com/mymembership. Cancelling normally stops the next renewal and leaves access through the paid period, without a prorated refund, subject to local rights. If you bought through an app store, cancel with that platform instead. Peloton asks members to report a billing error within 60 days, and UK members have a 14-day right to change their mind with a refund to the original payment method. Always check the membership terms for your region.

FAQ

Which Peloton plan should I pick to pay with a Coinepay card?

Choose Peloton App One or App+ on Peloton's membership page. App One includes three cardio-equipment classes a month; App+ removes that limit and bundles Strength+. Buy through Peloton's website so your Coinepay card is billed directly rather than through an app store.

Why was my Coinepay card declined at Peloton checkout?

Common causes are insufficient balance, a billing address that doesn't match your card, an incomplete 3-D Secure confirmation, or being on the wrong regional store. Check each, then contact Coinepay support with the date and amount if it still fails.

Does Peloton require a US billing address?

In the US market, Peloton's help says it accepts credit, debit and prepaid cards with a US billing address. This rule applies to the US store; other markets differ. Confirm with Coinepay support that your card meets the requirement before you buy.

Can I use a Coinepay card if I subscribe through Apple or Google Play?

If you subscribe inside the app, the store handles billing, not your card directly. To pay with your Coinepay card, use Peloton's web checkout, where Peloton charges the card you enter.

How do I update my Coinepay card on my Peloton membership?

For a Peloton-billed membership, go to account.onepeloton.com, open 'Payment methods on file' and click the pencil icon to edit the saved card. Update it before your next renewal date so the charge doesn't fail.
