You can start a MailerLite account without entering a payment method, then add a Coinepay virtual card when you choose a paid plan. This guide covers the current MailerLite plans, where to find checkout, what to check before paying, and how to troubleshoot a declined card.
What you need before subscribing
- A MailerLite account: Sign-up asks for a company or organization name, an email address, and a password. A new account starts with a 14-day premium trial that does not require a payment method. Unless you upgrade, it moves to Free after the trial.
- A Coinepay account ready for card use: Register and complete identity verification before using Coinepay card services. You can manage your card through the Coinepay app or 24/7 self-service dashboard. Its card number, expiry date, and CVV are available when the virtual card is issued.
- Enough available funds: Check the full amount displayed at MailerLite checkout, including any applicable tax. Allow for your selected monthly or annual billing period rather than relying on a plan’s advertised starting price.
- Accurate billing details: Use your real name, address, and tax details where requested. MailerLite selects USD or EUR for checkout based on the billing address; if conversion is needed, check the amount you will pay before confirming.
You can register with Coinepay if you do not yet have an account. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions. Some services are unavailable in certain jurisdictions; check availability in the Coinepay app or with Coinepay support before making plans to pay.
Choose a MailerLite plan and billing period
MailerLite’s current plan names are Free, Comfort, Power, and Enterprise. Comfort and Power have subscriber-based paid tiers from 500 to 200,000 subscribers. Enterprise is individually quoted for accounts with more than 200,000 subscribers. Select the subscriber tier that fits your account before comparing the monthly and annual totals.
At the time of writing (October 2026), the listed USD starting prices before applicable tax for up to 500 subscribers were $12 per month for Comfort and $25 per month for Power. MailerLite stated a 10% annual-billing discount, making the corresponding entry-tier totals $129.60 per year and $270 per year. Prices increase with subscriber tiers, and your checkout total may include tax. Check MailerLite’s official pricing page and the amount shown at checkout rather than assuming these figures still apply.
The Free plan currently has limits of 250 active subscribers and 2,500 monthly emails. If you see older instructions referring to Growing Business or Advanced, those plans were renamed Comfort and Power in June 2026. An existing paid account may move to the newer pricing at renewal or when its plan is changed manually, so review its own billing screen before paying.
How to pay for MailerLite with your Coinepay card
- Create or sign in to MailerLite. On MailerLite’s official site, provide the requested company or organization name, email address, and password if you are creating an account. You can explore the 14-day premium trial before choosing a paid plan.
- Prepare your card. In Coinepay’s app or dashboard, check the virtual card’s number, expiry date, CVV, and available funds. If you have not completed Coinepay’s required identity verification, do that before attempting to use card services.
- Open the plan controls. In MailerLite, go to Account settings → Plan and billing → Upgrade or Downgrade. Choose your subscriber tier, then select Comfort or Power and the billing period you want. If you need Enterprise, follow MailerLite’s quote process rather than expecting a standard checkout price.
- Enter payment and billing information. Enter the Coinepay virtual card details in the card-payment fields, then supply your genuine billing address and any applicable tax details. MailerLite lists credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal as payment methods for monthly and annual plans, but you should rely on the options displayed for your account at checkout.
- Review and confirm. Check the plan, subscriber tier, billing period, currency, tax, and total. Select Confirm and pay now only when they are correct. If a card authentication prompt appears, complete it through the method presented rather than repeatedly starting a new payment.
- Check the result. Return to Account settings → Plan and billing to review the plan and its Invoices, Payment methods, and Billing information sections. Keep the invoice for your records.
MailerLite lists Mastercard, Visa, American Express, China UnionPay, Discover/Diners Club, and JCB among its accepted cards. That list does not establish whether an individual card or transaction will be accepted. If checkout specifies a restriction on card type or country of issuance, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets that requirement before you buy.
If your MailerLite card payment is declined
A decline does not, by itself, identify the cause. Note what the checkout actually displays; do not assume a particular error message. Work through these checks before trying again:
- Insufficient balance: Compare your Coinepay available funds with MailerLite’s full checkout total, including tax and the chosen billing period. Check your balance in the Coinepay app or dashboard. MailerLite specifically identifies insufficient funds as one possible reason a renewal can fail.
- Incorrect card details: Recheck the card number, expiry date, and CVV against the details shown in Coinepay. Correct a typing error before making another attempt.
- Billing address mismatch: Review the name, address, country, and tax information entered at MailerLite checkout. Use only your real details. MailerLite says the billing country can be changed only while an account is on Free, so check it carefully before upgrading; ask MailerLite support how to address an error on an already-paid account.
- 3-D Secure not completed: MailerLite notes that some first card payments require this authentication. Follow the prompt if one appears. If the prompt closes or fails, check the payment status before retrying, and contact Coinepay support if you need help with the card-side step.
- Merchant or region checks: MailerLite’s terms restrict service and payments for customers registered in sanctioned countries or regions and for listed businesses. A checkout may also apply payment-method or regional eligibility checks. Do not change your stated location or billing details to work around a restriction. Ask MailerLite about account eligibility and Coinepay support about your card if the requirement is unclear.
If a renewal fails, MailerLite’s terms say it retries the payment every 24 hours for up to seven days. If all retries fail, a new-platform account is downgraded to Free. Check Plan and billing → Payment methods and resolve the cause promptly; Free’s subscriber and feature limits may affect what you can do after a downgrade. Avoid making repeated manual payment attempts without first checking whether one succeeded.
Manage renewals, invoices, and cancellation
For later changes, return to Account settings → Plan and billing. Use Payment methods to review the payment method, Billing information to review your billing details, and Invoices to find billing records. Check the next renewal amount when your subscriber tier or plan changes.
To stop a paid subscription, select Account settings → Plan and billing → Cancel subscription. MailerLite says the paid plan remains available through the end of its billing period, then moves to Free without another renewal charge. Canceling does not necessarily mean a refund: MailerLite generally does not refund unused time, forgotten renewals, or mistaken plan purchases. Review its official refund policy and contact MailerLite about any refund request.
For Coinepay card questions, use the support channel. For a MailerLite plan, invoice, account restriction, or refund decision, contact MailerLite directly. Keeping those questions separate can help you get the right answer without sharing card credentials unnecessarily.
