Luma Dream Machine is an AI image and video generator with several subscription tiers. If you want to pay for a paid plan using a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks through what you need, how the web and iOS checkout flows work, and how to handle the most common reasons a card gets declined.

Before you start, make sure your Coinepay account is set up. Register at the Coinepay sign-up page, complete identity verification (KYC), and create a virtual card. You can manage everything from the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app for iOS and Android.

What you need before you subscribe

  • A verified Coinepay account and an active virtual card with its card number, expiry date and CVV (all shown instantly in the app).
  • Enough balance on the card to cover the plan you choose plus any taxes added at checkout.
  • Your real billing details — name, address and postal code — matching the information on your Coinepay account.
  • A Luma Dream Machine account. On the web you sign in with Google or Apple; on iOS you sign in with Google or Apple inside the app.

Note that Luma processes web card payments through Stripe, while iOS purchases go through your Apple Account. The accepted card-network brands at Dream Machine checkout are not publicly confirmed, and whether any particular card passes the issuer's checks depends on your card. If you are unsure, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable before you buy.

Luma Dream Machine plans

Luma lists these tiers: Free, Lite, Plus, Unlimited and Enterprise. Free is personal-use only with watermarked output. Lite includes 3,200 monthly credits (personal use only). Plus includes 10,000 monthly credits and allows commercial use. Unlimited includes 10,000 fast credits per month plus unlimited slower, relaxed-mode generations — it does not mean unlimited fast credits. Enterprise pricing is custom.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Luma's own guide lists US web prices of Lite $9.99/month, Plus $29.99/month and Unlimited $94.99/month. App Store prices differ by country and the billing period shown in listings is not always labeled. Because prices vary by region and platform and can change, always confirm the current figure on Luma's official pricing page and at checkout before you pay.

Paying on the web (Stripe)

  1. Go to the Luma Dream Machine site and select Try Now, then sign in with Continue with Google or Sign in with Apple.
  2. Open the profile icon → Account Settings → Manage Subscription.
  3. Choose the plan you want (Lite, Plus or Unlimited) and continue to Stripe Checkout.
  4. Luma says you can review the fees before being charged. When Stripe shows the card option, enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV.
  5. Enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your Coinepay account.
  6. If your card issuer prompts for 3-D Secure verification, approve it in the Coinepay app, then confirm the purchase.

Luma also lists bank payments and Cash App Pay for web Stripe Checkout, but which bank option appears depends on your country and subscription. After payment, you can find invoices under Account → Manage Your Subscription → Invoice Information, or request them from Luma support.

Paying on iOS (Apple Account)

Inside the Dream Machine iOS app, sign in with Google or Apple, then open profile → Subscription to view or change your plan. An iOS purchase is confirmed through Apple, regardless of which sign-in provider created your Dream Machine account, and it uses the payment method linked to your Apple Account (credit card, debit card or Apple Pay). To pay with a Coinepay card here, add it as a payment method in your Apple Account settings first, then complete the purchase and review Apple's confirmation screen for the exact price.

Manage each subscription on the platform where you bought it: web purchases through Luma's website, iOS purchases through Apple's subscription management.

Troubleshooting a declined card

Luma's own documented decline causes are insufficient funds, an expired or outdated payment method, and iOS in-app-purchase connectivity problems. Exact on-screen checkout messages are not confirmed by Luma, so treat any wording you see as a prompt to check the items below rather than a standard message.

Insufficient balance

Make sure your Coinepay card has enough to cover the plan price plus any tax. Top up in the Coinepay app and retry. Remember that renewals and credit top-ups (which Luma says start at $4 for 1,200 credits and need an active paid plan) will also need funds available.

Billing address mismatch

Stripe and card issuers often compare the billing address you type with the one on file for the card. Enter the exact name, address and postal code tied to your Coinepay account. A mismatch is a frequent cause of silent declines.

3-D Secure not completed

If an authentication step appears and you do not approve it in time, the payment fails. Keep the Coinepay app open and ready, approve the prompt, then confirm again.

Region or payment-method checks

Some payment methods are only offered in certain countries, and certain card networks apply cross-border restrictions of their own — for example, Russia-issued Visa and Mastercard cards cannot make cross-border transactions under those networks' announced suspensions. Dream Machine is documented for web and iOS only, with no Android app. Use your real billing details and do not attempt to work around regional checks. If a payment keeps failing and your balance and details are correct, reach out to Coinepay support to confirm your card can be used for this merchant.

Expired or outdated card

If your virtual card has been replaced or expired, update the details in Stripe or in your Apple Account and try once more.

Managing, cancelling and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically. Luma's terms require you to cancel at least one day before the current term expires to avoid the next charge. A web cancellation stops future billing while your paid access continues through the current period — and deleting your account is not the same as cancelling. Web cancellations use the Stripe management interface; iOS subscriptions are cancelled through Apple.

Fees are final and non-refundable unless Luma decides otherwise. For a web refund, Luma's guide says to email [email protected] within 30 days of starting or renewing; unused or mostly unused plans may qualify, refunds are limited to the most recent billing period, and a refund terminates the subscription immediately. For an iOS refund, submit the purchase to Apple through its Report a Problem process, where Apple decides eligibility.

Tips for using a Coinepay card smoothly

  • Fund the card before the renewal date so an automatic charge does not fail.
  • Keep the Coinepay app handy during checkout for any 3-D Secure approval.
  • Use consistent billing details across Coinepay and your Luma or Apple Account.
  • For businesses, you can issue separate virtual cards with custom limits to keep AI subscription spend organised.

For more on virtual cards and managing your account, see the Coinepay homepage or message the team via Telegram.

FAQ

Which Luma Dream Machine plans can I pay for with a Coinepay card?

You can pay for any paid tier Luma offers — Lite, Plus or Unlimited — as long as your card passes the checkout's issuer checks. Enterprise pricing is custom. Prices vary by region and platform, so confirm the current figure on Luma's official pricing page before you buy.

Does Luma Dream Machine accept my Coinepay virtual card?

Luma processes web card payments through Stripe and iOS payments through your Apple Account. The accepted card-network brands at checkout are not publicly confirmed, and acceptance depends on the issuer's checks. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card is suitable before purchasing.

Why was my card declined at Luma checkout?

Luma's documented causes are insufficient funds, an expired or outdated payment method, and iOS in-app-purchase connectivity issues. Also check that your billing address matches your Coinepay account and that you complete any 3-D Secure prompt in the Coinepay app.

Can I use Coinepay for the iOS app subscription?

On iOS, purchases use the payment method linked to your Apple Account. Add your Coinepay card in Apple Account settings first, then subscribe through the app's profile → Subscription section and confirm the price on Apple's purchase screen.

How do I cancel or get a refund for Dream Machine?

Cancel at least one day before your term ends; web cancellations use Stripe and iOS uses Apple. For web refunds, email [email protected] within 30 days; for iOS, use Apple's Report a Problem process. Refund decisions rest with Luma or Apple.
