Google Meet has a free tier, but the premium features most teams want — larger meetings, recording, and longer group calls — come bundled with an eligible Google Workspace or Google One subscription rather than a single standalone "Meet plan." That means paying for Meet really means paying for one of those subscriptions. This guide explains what you need, how the sign-up and checkout flow works, and how to troubleshoot a card that gets declined. You can manage your Coinepay virtual card throughout from the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app.

Before you start: an important card-type rule

Read this first, because it affects which Meet path you can use. For Google Workspace business subscriptions, Google states that prepaid cards, virtual credit cards and customer-initiated bank transfers are not accepted. Accepted methods are major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) and, depending on your billing country and currency, certain debit cards and direct debit. Google Workspace Individual accepts credit-card payments only.

Coinepay does not disclose, in this article, whether its virtual card will satisfy Google's card-type requirement. Contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets this requirement before you buy, so you do not start a subscription that cannot renew. You can reach the team through Coinepay support or Telegram. Always use your real identity and real billing details — never a made-up address or a method to work around a merchant's regional or payment checks.

What you need

  • A registered, KYC-verified Coinepay account. If you have not completed this, register with Coinepay and finish identity verification first.
  • A Coinepay virtual card with its card number, expiry date and CVV, available in the dashboard or app (iOS / Android).
  • Enough available balance on the card for the plan's recurring charge.
  • Your real billing name and address, and a Google Account.
  • Confirmation from Coinepay support that your card type is suitable for the Google path you choose.

Which plan gives you paid Meet features

Google's business tiers are Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus and Enterprise, with advertised Meet participant limits of 100, 150, 500 and 1,000 respectively. Enterprise pricing requires contacting Google sales. At the time of writing (October 2026), published standard US rates were $8.40/$7, $16.80/$14 and $26.40/$22 per user per month for Starter/Standard/Plus — each pair is the Flexible versus one-year Annual commitment rate, not a monthly-versus-yearly billing choice. UK rates were £7/£5.90, £14/£11.80, £22/£18.40; euro rates €8.10/€6.80, €16.20/€13.60, €25.30/€21.10; with separate CAD and AUD rates. Prices vary by region and change, so always confirm on the official Google Workspace pricing page before you subscribe.

Some premium Meet features are also included with Google Workspace Individual and with eligible Google One plans. The free tier supports up to 100 participants, one-to-one meetings up to 24 hours and group meetings up to one hour.

Step-by-step: Google Workspace business checkout

  1. Go to the official Google Workspace site and choose a tier (Business Starter, Standard or Plus) and a payment plan (Flexible or Annual/Fixed-Term).
  2. Create your account and verify your domain as prompted.
  3. Create or select a payments profile, then set your billing country and currency. Choose these carefully — they determine which payment methods are offered.
  4. Enter an eligible payment method. Remember the exclusion above: virtual and prepaid cards are not accepted for business billing, so only proceed with a card Coinepay support has confirmed is suitable.
  5. The 14-day trial requires a payment method on file but is not charged until the trial ends. After setup, manage everything in Admin console → Billing → Subscriptions.

To inspect or change the card later, go to Billing → Payment accounts → View payment methods. You need billing-management permission to do this.

Step-by-step: Workspace Individual or Google One

If you only need premium Meet features for yourself, a personal path may suit you better:

  1. Workspace Individual: sign up on a personal Google Account. Google documents a 14-day trial with monthly or annual renewal. Manage the card under How you'll pay → Change payment method, and cancel under Upcoming Payment → Cancel subscription. Note that this product accepts credit-card payments only and requires both your location and payments profile to be in a Google-supported region.
  2. Google One: a web-purchased membership is managed in Google One settings. If you buy through the App Store, Apple handles billing instead. Google One eligibility is tied to your Google Play country/region and excludes Workspace accounts.

Before entering any card, add it in the Coinepay app and make sure the balance covers the renewal amount so the payment can authorize.

Troubleshooting a declined card

Google surfaces several payment error codes that can appear across its products (these are Google-wide examples, not Meet-specific):

Code / messageWhat it usually meansWhat to do
OR-CCSEH-22The card issuer declined the paymentCheck balance and card status in the Coinepay app, then retry or contact support
OR-CCSEH-32Transaction was declinedConfirm card details and available funds; try again later
OR-HDT-14Correct your card details or use another cardRe-enter the number, expiry, CVV and billing address exactly
OR-CAC-02Verification needed at Google PaymentsOpen Google Payments and clear any verification alert

Common causes and fixes

  • Card type not accepted: the most likely reason for a business-billing rejection is the prepaid/virtual-card exclusion. Confirm suitability with Coinepay support before retrying.
  • Insufficient balance: top up the Coinepay card so it covers the full recurring charge, including any currency conversion, then retry.
  • Billing-address mismatch: the address on your Google payments profile must match the details registered to your card. Correct either side so they match.
  • 3-D Secure / verification: if Google prompts for authentication, complete it through the method shown in the Coinepay app. Clear any "verify your payment profile" alert in Google Payments.
  • Region checks: Workspace Individual, Google One and the separate Meet Global Dialing subscription each require a billing address and profile in Google's listed supported regions. Use your genuine location — do not attempt to bypass these checks.
  • Issuer blocking online or international use: check your card controls in Coinepay, and contact support if something looks blocked.

For Workspace business, a failed primary payment method can eventually suspend service if it is not fixed within the grace period, so correct any decline promptly in Billing → Payment accounts.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Workspace business: cancel in Admin console → Billing → Subscriptions → Cancel Subscription. A trial cancellation incurs no subscription charge. A Flexible Plan stops accruing new charges on cancellation, while an Annual/Fixed-Term Plan remains liable for its outstanding commitment.
  • Workspace Individual: cancellation stops future payments and features remain until the paid period ends. Purchases are generally nonrefundable, with partial-refund provisions noted for Germany and Israel. A failed renewal has a seven-day window to update the card before automatic cancellation.
  • Google One: cancel at Google One → Settings → Cancel membership; benefits usually continue to the end of the billing cycle, and purchases are nonrefundable in most regions.

Keep your Coinepay card ready for renewals

Whichever route you take, renewals are automatic, so keep enough balance on the card and watch for payment or verification alerts in Google Payments and in the Coinepay app. If a charge fails, resolve it within Google's grace period to avoid losing access. For anything to do with your card itself — balance, controls, or whether it fits a merchant's requirements — reach Coinepay support, available 24/7.

FAQ

Can I pay for Google Workspace with a virtual card?

Google states that prepaid cards and virtual credit cards are not accepted for Workspace business billing, and Workspace Individual accepts credit cards only. Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets Google's requirement before you subscribe, and never assume it qualifies.

Is there a standalone paid Google Meet plan?

No. Premium Meet features come bundled with an eligible Google Workspace or Google One subscription rather than a single Meet plan. You subscribe to one of those products to unlock larger meetings, recording and longer calls.

Why was my card declined at Google checkout?

Common causes include an unaccepted card type, insufficient balance, a billing-address mismatch, an unfinished 3-D Secure or payment-profile verification, or a region check. Google may show codes like OR-CCSEH-22 or OR-HDT-14. Fix the underlying issue and retry, or contact Coinepay support.

How much does paid Google Meet cost?

At the time of writing (October 2026), US Workspace rates were $8.40/$7, $16.80/$14 and $26.40/$22 per user per month for Business Starter, Standard and Plus (Flexible vs one-year Annual). Prices vary by region and change, so check the official Google Workspace pricing page.

How do I cancel and avoid further charges?

For Workspace business, cancel in Admin console → Billing → Subscriptions → Cancel Subscription; Annual plans still owe their outstanding commitment. Workspace Individual cancels under Upcoming Payment, and Google One under Settings → Cancel membership. Benefits generally last until the paid period ends.
