FuboTV (Fubo) is a live-TV streaming service known for sports, news and entertainment channels. If you want to keep your main bank card separate from recurring streaming charges, a Coinepay virtual card gives you a dedicated card number, expiry date and CVV you can manage from one dashboard. This guide walks through what you need, how to sign up and check out, and how to troubleshoot a declined card.
Before you start: what you need
Fubo is available in the United States and U.S. territories, Canada and Spain, with different channels and plans in each country. A U.S. subscription cannot be watched while you travel outside the U.S. and its territories, so choose the service that matches where you actually live and will stream.
- A Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. If you have not registered yet, you can create an account and finish verification first. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
- A Coinepay virtual card created in the app, with its card number, expiry and CVV ready, plus enough balance to cover the first charge and Fubo's temporary authorization.
- Your real billing details — name and billing address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account. Use your genuine identity; do not use another person's details or try to work around regional checks.
- A valid email, a password and your streaming ZIP or postal code for the sign-up form.
Fubo's U.S. help center lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit or debit cards, plus Cash App, as accepted payment methods. Acceptance of these same methods in Canada or Spain is not confirmed in Fubo's published pages, and whether any individual card works is ultimately decided at checkout. If you are unsure whether your card meets Fubo's requirements, contact Coinepay support to confirm before you buy.
Fubo plans and prices
Plans differ by country and Fubo warns that featured plans can change:
- United States: Pro, Core, Elite and Ultra; a separate English-language Sports + News service; and the Spanish-language Latino plan. Core, Ultra and Sports + News are limited to select markets.
- Canada: Sports, Sports Pro and Cricket with Sports Plus.
- Spain: a base plan with monthly, quarterly or yearly billing.
For reference, Fubo's June 15, 2026 U.S. price notice listed Pro and Core at US$88.99/month, Elite and Ultra at US$98.99/month, and Sports + News at US$64.99/month (US$194.97 quarterly), while a June 10, 2026 notice set U.S. Latino at US$19.99/month for new subscribers. These were announced rates with effective dates that vary by area, not a confirmed checkout quote for today. U.S. taxes, add-ons and regional sports fees can raise the total. Always confirm the current price shown at checkout on Fubo's official site before you pay.
Step 1: Create your Coinepay virtual card
Open the Coinepay app (iOS or Google Play) or the web dashboard, create a virtual card, and add funds so the balance comfortably covers your chosen plan plus Fubo's temporary US$1 authorization. Keep the card number, expiry date and CVV handy. The dashboard is self-service and available 24/7, so you can top up or review the card at any time.
Step 2: Sign up on Fubo
- Go to fubo.tv/signup in a browser.
- Enter your email address, create a password and enter your streaming ZIP or postal code so Fubo shows the plans available in your market.
- Choose an available plan. In the U.S. that might be Pro, Core, Elite, Ultra, Sports + News or Latino; in Canada, Sports, Sports Pro or Cricket with Sports Plus.
Step 3: Enter your Coinepay card at checkout
- On the payment screen, enter your Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date and CVV.
- Enter the billing name and address that match your Coinepay account details.
- Review the checkout summary. If you are taking a free trial, Fubo shows the trial end and billing time before you select Start free trial. For a non-trial checkout, it shows the subscription and the amount due today before you select Submit.
- Confirm. If your bank or Coinepay prompts a 3-D Secure verification, approve it in the Coinepay app to complete the payment.
Fubo bills in advance and automatically charges your linked card at the start of each cycle, so keep your Coinepay card funded ahead of each renewal date.
Step 4: Manage billing and your plan
After you sign in and pick a profile, go to Settings → My Account → Billing to view payment history, see your next payment or update the payment method. Plan changes and cancellation live under My Account → Subscription. Note Fubo's rule that a card-first account cannot later switch to a digital wallet, so if you expect to pay by card, start with a card.
Troubleshooting: card declined or rejected
Fubo documents cards being "declined" or "rejected" during sign-up or a card update. It does not publish a full list of exact error strings, but the common causes are easy to check:
Insufficient balance for the authorization
Fubo places a temporary US$1 authorization to validate the card. If your Coinepay balance cannot cover that hold plus the first charge, the payment fails. Top up in the Coinepay app and try again.
Billing address or name mismatch
If the billing name or address you typed does not match your Coinepay account details, the check can fail. Re-enter them exactly as they appear in Coinepay.
3-D Secure not completed
If a verification step is requested and not approved, the charge is dropped. Keep the Coinepay app open during checkout and approve any prompt promptly.
Bank or security block
Fubo lists a bank or security block as a possible cause. Within Coinepay, check that the card is active and has no restriction; if a payment still fails, reach out to Coinepay support or ask on Telegram.
Region checks
Fubo tailors sign-up to your market via your ZIP or postal code and the country site you use. Enter your real location; do not attempt to disguise it. If a card type is not accepted in your country's checkout, confirm your options with Coinepay support rather than guessing.
Failed renewal
If a renewal payment fails, Fubo says it retries the existing card within a few days. You can also re-enter or replace the card under My Account → Billing. Make sure the Coinepay card is funded before the retry.
Cancellation and refunds
For a paid Fubo-direct subscription, access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for; Fubo states it does not refund prepaid or partial months. A Fubo-direct free trial ends immediately when you cancel. If you subscribed through Roku, you must cancel through Roku, and trial timing differs. In Canada, a Sports Pro annual commitment billed monthly (except in Quebec or where prohibited) carries a stated C$90 early-termination fee if you cancel within 12 months, so read the commitment terms before you confirm.
A quick recap
Register with Coinepay and complete KYC, create and fund a virtual card, sign up at fubo.tv/signup with your real details, pick a plan available in your market, enter the card, approve any 3-D Secure prompt and review the summary before you confirm. Keep the card funded for each advance billing cycle, and manage everything from Fubo's My Account settings and your Coinepay dashboard. For card questions, the Coinepay team is available 24/7 — see the Coinepay site for details.
