DAZN is a sports streaming service that carries football, boxing, motorsport and other live events across more than 200 countries. If you want to pay for a DAZN subscription with a Coinepay virtual card, this guide walks you through what to prepare, how the sign-up and checkout flow works, and how to fix the most common reasons a card gets declined.
Before you begin, note that DAZN lists different plans, prices and accepted payment methods in each market, and content and schedules vary by country. Always confirm the current details on DAZN's own site for your region.
What you need before you start
To subscribe to DAZN with a Coinepay card, have the following ready:
- An active Coinepay virtual card. If you do not have one yet, register with Coinepay, complete identity verification (KYC), and create a card in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app. Card issuance requires completing KYC first.
- Your card number, expiry date and CVV. Coinepay shows these instantly in the app once the card is issued.
- Enough balance on the card to cover your chosen plan plus any taxes. DAZN may also run a temporary verification check when you enter a card, rather than a completed charge.
- Your real billing details — the name and address registered to you. Use your genuine identity and billing information at checkout.
- A DAZN-supported country. DAZN says it does not operate in China, Crimea, North Korea, Russia, Syria or Iran. Sign up from your country of permanent residence.
DAZN plans and pricing
DAZN's plan names and prices differ widely by country, and most markets offer a monthly-flex option, a 12-month annual contract billed monthly, and an annual pay-upfront option. For example, at the time of writing (October 2026) the United States lists a Monthly plan, an Annual – Pay Monthly plan and an Annual – Pay Upfront plan, plus a DAZN Ultimate tier that adds specified pay-per-view events. Other markets use their own names such as Monthly Flex in the UK, SPORTS, FULL and FAMILY in Italy, or DAZN Standard and DAZN Global in Japan.
Because prices change with promotions, taxes and region, and some plans commit you to instalments, check the current plan list on DAZN's official pricing page for your country before you confirm. Pay particular attention to whether a plan is a flexible monthly option or a 12-month contract.
Step-by-step: subscribing to DAZN
- Create your Coinepay card. In the Coinepay app or dashboard, issue a virtual card and note the number, expiry and CVV. Make sure it has enough balance for the plan you want.
- Go to DAZN sign-up. Open DAZN in a web browser and go to the sign-up page (dazn.com/signup). If you are starting on a TV app, you can scan the on-screen QR code to continue checkout in your mobile browser.
- Choose your plan. Select the plan that matches your needs and budget, confirming whether it is monthly-flex or an annual commitment.
- Create your account. Enter your email address and set a password.
- Select a payment method. DAZN's card options vary by market — for example the US lists Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express cards plus PayPal and gift codes, while the UK page lists Visa, Mastercard and JCB. Choose the card payment option.
- Enter your Coinepay card details. Type the card number, expiry date and CVV, and enter your real billing name and address so they match your account records.
- Complete any security check. Your bank or card provider may require a 3-D Secure confirmation via app or a one-time code. Approve it to finish.
- Confirm and start watching. Once DAZN accepts the payment, your subscription activates. Keep a note of your billing date.
Managing your DAZN billing
To review or update your payment method later, sign in and go to the profile icon → My Account → Subscription → Payment information → Manage payment method. Your charges and invoices appear under Payment History. If you ever replace your Coinepay card, update the details here so renewals do not fail.
If you subscribed through Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or another provider rather than directly on DAZN, you must change payment details and cancel through that provider, not inside DAZN.
Troubleshooting: card declined or payment failed
DAZN labels one common failure as code 10-002-007, "Payment unable to be processed," and advises checking your available funds and the validity of the payment method in My Account. DAZN identifies the usual causes as insufficient funds, incorrect or expired card details, and incomplete security checks. Here is how to work through them:
Insufficient balance
Confirm your Coinepay card holds enough to cover the full plan price plus any taxes, and allow for a temporary verification hold that DAZN may place when you add a card. Top up in the Coinepay app and try again.
Billing address or card detail mismatch
Re-enter the card number, expiry and CVV carefully, and make sure the billing name and address match the details on your Coinepay account. Mismatched or mistyped information is a frequent cause of declines.
3-D Secure not completed
If the payment stalls, the security check may not have finished. Italy's DAZN guidance notes that a bank may require 3-D Secure approval by app or one-time code. Make sure you can receive and approve that prompt, then retry.
Merchant region checks
DAZN's accepted cards and content depend on the country you sign up in, and Japan, for instance, lists only Japan-issued cards and notes debit-card restrictions. Sign up in your country of residence, and if a market restricts card types or issuing country, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before you buy. Do not attempt to disguise your location.
Pending but still asked to pay
For pay-per-view events, a charge may show as pending while DAZN still asks you to purchase again. DAZN says this can mean checkout did not finish; check your account status before trying another method so you do not pay twice.
Cancellation and refunds
To stop a direct subscription, use My Account → Cancel subscription / Cancel Membership. Monthly-flex plans generally require 30 days' notice and may produce a final prorated charge, while cancelling a 12-month pay-monthly plan stops renewal but does not end instalments you have already committed to. DAZN's US terms say subscription fees already paid are generally not refunded on cancellation, and completed pay-per-view purchases generally are not refunded either, subject to applicable withdrawal rights (for example, a 14-day withdrawal right for EEA consumers before an event's performance begins).

FAQ
Which card types does DAZN accept?
It varies by market. The US lists Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express cards plus PayPal and gift codes; the UK lists Visa, Mastercard and JCB; Japan lists Japan-issued cards with debit restrictions. Check DAZN's "How to pay" page for your country, and the methods shown at your checkout are the controlling list.
Why was my Coinepay card declined at DAZN checkout?
Common causes are insufficient balance, incorrect or expired card details, a billing-address mismatch, or an incomplete 3-D Secure check. DAZN's error code 10-002-007 "Payment unable to be processed" asks you to check your funds and card validity in My Account. Fix the detail and retry.
Can I use a Coinepay card from any country?
DAZN's accepted cards and content depend on the country you sign up in, and some markets accept only locally issued cards. Sign up in your country of residence. If a market restricts card type or issuing country, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before buying.
How do I update or remove my Coinepay card on DAZN?
Sign in and go to the profile icon → My Account → Subscription → Payment information → Manage payment method. If you were billed through Apple, Google, Roku or Amazon, update and cancel through that provider instead.
Will I get a refund if I cancel DAZN?
DAZN's US terms say subscription fees already paid are generally not refunded on cancellation, and completed pay-per-view purchases generally are not refunded, subject to applicable withdrawal rights such as the EEA 14-day right before an event begins. Review DAZN's terms for your region.
