Monday.com sells several products on separate plans, and each one is paid for by card inside the same billing area. This guide walks through what you need, how the sign-up and upgrade flow works, and what to check if a payment is declined when you pay with a Coinepay virtual card.
Before you start
A Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV that you can use for online subscriptions like Monday.com. To get one you first need to register and complete identity verification (KYC), then create a card from the dashboard or app.
- Create and verify your account: register with Coinepay and finish KYC.
- Install the app for on-the-go management: iOS or Google Play.
- Add funds and note your exact billing address as it appears on your Coinepay profile — you will need it at checkout.
Coinepay services related to virtual assets are not available to residents of mainland China, and some services are limited by jurisdiction. Monday.com's own Terms (last updated May 05, 2026) restrict use connected to sanctioned regions including Cuba, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Crimea, and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Use your real identity and real billing details throughout.
Choose the right Monday.com product and plan
Monday.com prices four products separately, so pick the one that matches your work before you pay:
- monday work management (the AI work platform): Free, Basic, Standard, Pro, Enterprise.
- monday CRM: Basic, Standard, Pro, Ultimate (Ultimate is the new name for the former Enterprise tier).
- monday dev: Basic, Standard, Pro, Enterprise.
- monday service: Standard, Pro, Enterprise.
At the time of writing (October 2026), US-dollar prices on monday.com/pricing billed annually per seat/month include work management Basic $9, Standard $12, Pro $19; CRM Basic $12, Standard $17, Pro $28; dev Basic $9, Standard $12, Pro $20; and service Standard $31, Pro $45. Enterprise and CRM Ultimate require a quote. Prices vary by billing country, tax is added separately, and the final amount appears before you pay — always confirm the current figure on the official Monday.com pricing page.
Step 1: Sign up and (optionally) trial
Create an account with your email and some details about your team and workflow. The product you select starts a 14-day Pro trial with no credit card required, and it will not charge you if you leave it without upgrading. This is a good chance to confirm the platform suits you before entering payment details.
Step 2: Create or pick your Coinepay card
In the Coinepay dashboard or app, create a virtual card and make sure it has enough balance to cover the plan total plus any applicable tax. If you manage several subscriptions, a dedicated card per service makes it easier to track Monday.com charges separately. Businesses can also set custom spending limits per card.
Step 3: Upgrade and enter your card at checkout
- In Monday.com, click your profile picture and choose Upgrade.
- Review the product, tier, number of seats and the monthly or yearly billing choice. Paid checkout starts at three seats and uses seat groups, so your total reflects at least three seats.
- Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV, and the billing address that matches your Coinepay profile.
- Submit the payment. Monday.com sends a confirmation email once the charge succeeds.
Accepted payment methods — read this first
Monday.com's help center lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Carte Bleue and PayPal, and says checks, money orders and purchase orders are not accepted through ordinary billing. Its pricing FAQ additionally lists UnionPay, states that debit cards are excluded, and notes that card acceptance can vary by location. Because accepted card types depend on these rules, check that your Coinepay card meets Monday.com's requirement before you buy — contact Coinepay support to confirm your card details, and review the latest terms on Monday.com's own pages.
Step 4: Confirm the charge and save your invoice
After paying, admins can review everything at profile picture → Administration → Billing:
- Overview: plan cost and renewal date.
- Payment method: change the card on file.
- Settings: update billing details.
- Invoices: download receipts.
Your billing currency is set by your sign-up location. The help center lists USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, MXN, BRL and JPY. Currency cannot be changed after a payment, and refunds are issued in the original currency.
Troubleshooting a declined or failed payment
If a charge does not go through, Monday.com may show the invoice status "Payment failed", which can mean insufficient funds, an expired or restricted card, or a bank decline. Use Resolve payment to retry an eligible charge or update your payment method. Work through these common causes:
Insufficient balance
A virtual card needs enough to cover the full plan total plus tax, calculated on at least three seats for paid tiers. Top up in the Coinepay app, then use Resolve payment to retry.
Billing address mismatch
Enter the billing address exactly as it appears on your Coinepay profile. A mismatch between the address Monday.com sends and the one your issuer expects is a frequent cause of declines. Correct it under Billing → Settings and the Payment method screen.
3-D Secure / extra verification
Your payment may need an additional confirmation step. Keep your Coinepay app handy during checkout so you can approve any verification prompt or one-time code promptly.
Card type or merchant region checks
Because Monday.com excludes debit cards and says acceptance varies by location, a decline can stem from the card type or a regional check rather than your balance. Confirm your card details with Coinepay support and check the current accepted methods on Monday.com's pricing page before retrying.
Restricted or blocked card
If the card is permanently declined, Monday.com advises using a new method or contacting your issuer. You can create a fresh Coinepay card or reach out through Coinepay's support channel. Note that an unpaid failed renewal can block the account after 14 days, so resolve it promptly.
Managing, cancelling and refunds
To cancel, admins go to Administration → Billing → Overview, open the product's three-dot menu, choose Cancel product, then Cancel plan renewal. Cancel each purchased product before closing the whole account. Invoice or wire-transfer customers must contact their account manager. Existing customers generally need to give 30 days' notice before the term ends to avoid a possible renewal, and access usually continues through the paid term.
A first purchase may qualify for a prorated refund of unused prepaid time if requested in writing within 30 days; renewals are not eligible, and refunds typically appear in 7–10 business days in the original currency. Monday.com's Terms govern over any help-center summary, so review them for the exact conditions.
Keep your Coinepay card ready for renewals
Monday.com will attempt to renew automatically on the card on file. Keep enough balance before each renewal date shown in Billing → Overview, and update the Payment method if you switch cards. Managing everything from the Coinepay dashboard or app makes it easy to monitor charges and keep your subscription active.
