Looking to subscribe to Microsoft Copilot Pro? Microsoft no longer sells Copilot Pro to new customers. If you want a paid Copilot subscription today, you’ll need to choose a current Microsoft 365 plan instead. This guide explains how to check those plans, try a Coinepay virtual card at Microsoft’s checkout, and troubleshoot a payment that does not go through. It also covers payment management if you already have Copilot Pro.
Can you still buy Microsoft Copilot Pro?
No. Microsoft stopped selling Copilot Pro to new customers in October 2025 and directed existing subscribers toward Microsoft 365 Premium. If you see an older Copilot Pro sign-up guide, its checkout instructions may no longer apply. Do not assume that a third-party offer gives you a new direct Microsoft subscription.
Microsoft’s current paid individual tiers are Microsoft 365 Personal, Microsoft 365 Family, Microsoft 365 Premium, and Microsoft 365 Pro. Personal and Family include Copilot with limits; Premium offers higher limits, and Pro the highest. Microsoft also describes a limited free version of Copilot. On shareable plans, the AI benefits belong to the subscription owner, not everyone the subscription can be shared with. Check the current plan comparison on Microsoft’s official Copilot pricing page before choosing.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Microsoft’s displayed US prices included $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year for Microsoft 365 Premium, and $99.99 per month for Microsoft 365 Pro, which was offered with monthly billing only. Prices vary by region, and taxes and your checkout total may differ. Check Microsoft’s official pricing page and the final order review for your billing market rather than relying on these figures.
What you need before checkout
- A Microsoft account: Use the account that should own the subscription. You can sign in or create an account during Microsoft’s purchase process.
- An eligible offer in your billing market: A Copilot feature being available in your region does not mean every paid plan is offered there. Features can also vary by region, language, platform, and minimum age.
- A Coinepay account and virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Coinepay provides a virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV; you can manage the card through its dashboard or mobile app.
- Enough available funds: Check your card’s available funds in Coinepay and allow for the full amount Microsoft shows at checkout, including any applicable tax. For Coinepay funding details or card-specific conditions, check the app or contact Coinepay support.
- Your real billing details: Have the name, address, and postal code associated with your payment details ready. Use accurate information that matches your legitimate account and billing market.
Microsoft may show card and other payment options depending on the region. A payment method must be available in your checkout to use it; having a method saved to a Microsoft account does not by itself establish that it can pay for this subscription.
How to pay for a current Copilot plan with a Coinepay card
- Check your card in Coinepay. Sign in through the Coinepay dashboard or the iOS app or Android app. Confirm that identity verification is complete, view your virtual card details, and check the available funds. Keep the card number and CVV private.
- Visit Microsoft’s official Copilot pricing page. Select your actual billing market and compare Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, Premium, and Pro. Choose a plan based on the Copilot limits and other terms shown for your account. In Germany, Personal may appear under the local name Microsoft 365 Single.
- Choose an offer. Select Buy now, or an offered trial if you prefer one and are eligible. Microsoft describes one-month trials for Personal, Family, and Premium, but eligibility and whether payment information is required vary by offer and region. Read the trial’s renewal terms before proceeding.
- Review the cart and sign in. Microsoft Store checkout takes you through a cart or review stage and asks you to sign in or create a Microsoft account. Check that the plan, billing period, market, and account are correct.
- Enter your payment details. If a card option appears, enter the Coinepay virtual card number, expiry date, and CVV. Supply your real billing name and address, paying particular attention to the country and postal-code format. Do not change your region or provide an unrelated address to try to make a payment pass.
- Review and submit the order. Check the final amount, tax, renewal terms, and any trial end date shown by Microsoft. Complete any payment-verification prompt that appears, then select Place order. Wait for Microsoft’s confirmation before treating the subscription as active.
A card can be entered at checkout without the payment ultimately being approved. Neither a trial offer nor a saved payment method guarantees that Microsoft will accept a particular card or transaction.
What to check if Microsoft declines the card
Start with the message Microsoft actually displays. A decline can have several causes, and retrying repeatedly without correcting the problem may not help.
- Insufficient available funds: Compare the funds shown in Coinepay with Microsoft’s full checkout total, not just the advertised plan price. Account for any tax shown at order review. Check the Coinepay app for your funding options before trying again.
- Billing-address mismatch: Recheck the card number, expiry date, CVV, billing name, address, and postal code. Microsoft specifically advises checking card details and postal-code formatting when a payment option fails. Enter accurate details; do not use a made-up address.
- Payment verification or a blocked window: If Microsoft or the payment flow requests verification, follow the on-screen instructions. Check whether your browser blocked a confirmation window and whether a verification request is awaiting action. If you cannot complete the prompt, ask Coinepay support whether any card-side verification needs attention; do not assume a particular 3-D Secure flow is available.
- Merchant region checks: Confirm that the plan is sold in your genuine billing market and that the account country and payment details are accurate. Microsoft’s billing-market rules can affect which offers and payment methods appear. Do not change account countries solely to bypass an unavailable offer or payment check.
- Other account or checkout issues: Microsoft lists expired cards, overdue subscription payments, suspended accounts, and blocked payment-confirmation windows among possible purchase problems. Check your Microsoft account for notices. If the checkout reports a Microsoft-side error, contact Microsoft support with the exact message; if Coinepay shows a card-side issue, contact Coinepay support. Never send your full card number or CVV in a support message.
If a card option is missing or the transaction remains declined after you correct the details, use a payment method Microsoft offers for your account or ask the relevant support team to investigate. Coinepay cannot make an unavailable Microsoft plan or an ineligible transaction available.
Manage an existing subscription or change its payment card
For a subscription billed directly by Microsoft—including an existing Copilot Pro subscription—sign in with the purchasing account at account.microsoft.com/services. Select the subscription, then Manage to view its billing and cancellation options. To change how a recurring subscription is paid, look for Manage → Change how you pay → Add a new way to pay. Saved payment methods can also be edited at account.microsoft.com/billing/payments. The options you see depend on the subscription and account.
To stop a Microsoft-billed subscription, use Manage → Cancel and complete the prompts. Subscriptions otherwise renew automatically unless canceled. Microsoft displays any refund eligibility during cancellation; cancellation does not always mean a refund. If you bought through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer, manage billing and cancellation through that provider instead of Microsoft’s direct-billing controls.
For help with your Coinepay card, use Coinepay support. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions, and some Coinepay services are not available in every jurisdiction.
