You can send money from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia with Coinepay Global Remittance. Before starting, verify your account and ask the recipient how they want to receive the money: in an Indonesian bank account, a mobile wallet or as cash. The details you need depend on that choice. Coinepay shows the exchange rate and fees before you confirm, and you can track the transfer afterward.

What you need before sending

Register for Coinepay and complete identity verification before making a transfer. You can manage the transfer in the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app. Have your own accurate identity information ready, along with the recipient’s full legal name as it appears on their bank or wallet account or identity document. You may also be asked for the purpose of the payment or documents supporting the source of funds.

Indonesia’s local currency is the Indonesian rupiah (IDR). When you set up the transfer, choose Indonesia as the destination and check the available receiving currencies and payout methods in Coinepay. Do not assume that a recipient needs a foreign-currency account to receive money from abroad; the appropriate currency and account details depend on the payout route you select.

Ask the recipient to confirm their details directly rather than copying an old payment record. For a bank deposit, this usually means their legal name, bank name and account number. For a wallet, it usually means the name and phone number registered to that wallet. For cash pickup, confirm the name on their government-issued ID and where they can collect the payment.

Choose an Indonesian payout method

Bank-account deposit

For a local deposit into an Indonesian bank account, obtain the recipient’s full legal name, bank name and ordinary account number. Indonesian account numbers do not have one nationwide fixed length. For example, BCA identifies its own account numbers as 10 digits, while requirements at other banks can differ. Copy the number from the recipient’s banking information and check every digit.

Indonesia does not use a national IBAN format, so do not invent an IBAN or add characters to an Indonesian account number. Follow the fields Coinepay displays for your chosen bank payout. A direct international bank transfer may require the recipient bank’s SWIFT/BIC; for example, BCA lists CENAIDJA and Bank Mandiri lists BMRIIDJAXXX for incoming remittances. Another payout route may instead request a local bank code or branch code. Ask the recipient or their bank for the code applicable to their account and use it only when the transfer form calls for it. IFSC, CLABE and US routing numbers are not Indonesian account identifiers.

The recipient should make sure their bank account can receive the intended payment and that their name matches the account record. A bank may ask for information about an incoming transfer before crediting it. If the payment is for business or export activity rather than personal support, describe its purpose accurately and provide any transaction records the bank requests.

Mobile-wallet payout

Coinepay supports mobile-wallet payouts, including GoPay. Indonesian wallets also include DANA, OVO and ShopeePay; select a particular wallet only if it appears as an available option for your transfer in the Coinepay app. Ask the recipient for the phone number registered to the selected wallet, typically in Indonesia’s +62 country-code format, and confirm that the wallet account is active and registered in their correct name. Do not send to a number simply because the recipient uses it for calls or messaging.

The recipient may need to complete that wallet provider’s identity checks before they can receive or use a payout. Wallet providers can apply balance and incoming-transaction restrictions, including rules that vary with verification status. If a wallet payout is unavailable or cannot be received, ask the recipient whether a bank deposit or cash pickup would be more suitable rather than entering another person’s wallet details.

Cash pickup

If cash pickup is offered for the transfer you are setting up, choose an available pickup location and enter the recipient’s name exactly as it appears on their valid government-issued ID. The recipient will generally need that ID and any collection or reference information supplied for the transfer. Share reference details privately with the intended recipient, and tell them to check the location’s identification requirements and opening hours before visiting. Use the tracking status to confirm that the payment is ready for collection; a confirmed transfer is not necessarily ready for pickup immediately.

Send money from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia step by step

  1. Sign in to your verified account. Open the Coinepay dashboard or mobile app and start a Global Remittance transfer. If you have not registered, use the Coinepay registration page and complete the required identity verification first.
  2. Set the destination and currency. Select Indonesia as the destination, enter the amount and choose from the currencies and payout options displayed for your transfer. If the recipient expects rupiah, check what currency they will receive rather than assuming it from the sending country.
  3. Choose the payout method and enter recipient details. For a bank account, use the recipient’s account number and any bank or branch identifier requested on screen. For a wallet, select the available provider and enter its registered recipient details. For cash pickup, use the recipient’s ID-matching name and the applicable pickup information.
  4. Review the transfer. Check the recipient’s name, account number or phone number, destination, payout method, amount and receiving currency. Coinepay displays the exchange rate and fees before you confirm. Read the full review screen so you understand what you are sending and what the recipient is expected to receive.
  5. Confirm and track. Confirm only when the information is correct. Keep the transfer reference and follow its status in the Coinepay dashboard or app. If Coinepay requests documents or further information, respond through the appropriate account or support channel.

What the recipient should expect

For a bank deposit, the receiving bank credits the account according to its own procedures and may check the recipient name, payment purpose or supporting information. A wallet provider may require the recipient to verify their account or resolve an account restriction. For cash pickup, the recipient should bring the required ID and collection details to the selected location once the transfer is ready.

Cross-border transfers are subject to identity verification, sanctions screening and local regulations. Coinepay may request documents about the purpose of the transfer or source of funds. Indonesian financial-service providers also have cross-border transfer reporting obligations; that does not, by itself, mean every recipient must personally file a report for an ordinary family remittance. If the payment relates to business income or another activity with separate tax or reporting duties, the recipient should seek guidance relevant to their circumstances.

Troubleshoot a delayed or returned transfer

  • Wrong recipient details: A misspelled legal name, incorrect account digit, wrong wallet number or missing bank information can prevent a payout. Check the transfer status and contact Coinepay support promptly. Do not assume a confirmed transfer can still be edited; support can explain the available next steps.
  • Compliance review: Identity, sanctions, payment-purpose or source-of-funds checks may require more information. Provide accurate documents if requested. Do not use someone else’s account or divide a payment to avoid a review.
  • Processing delay: Banks and payout providers may take longer to process a transfer around weekends or public holidays, or while completing their own checks. Check status tracking first. If it has not changed as expected, contact support with your transfer reference.
  • Wallet or pickup problem: Ask the recipient to confirm their wallet’s registration and ability to receive funds, or the pickup location’s ID requirements. A wallet restriction or name mismatch may stop collection even when the details initially looked correct.
  • Returned transfer: A receiving institution can reject a payment because of incorrect details or its own rules. Check the status and ask support why it was returned and what is needed before starting another transfer. Review the new transfer’s exchange rate and fees before confirming it.

If you are unsure which Indonesian payout details to enter, ask the recipient to confirm them with their bank or wallet provider before you send. Coinepay support can help you identify which fields apply to the payout option shown in your account.

When can my recipient collect a cash pickup?

Check the transfer status for pickup readiness. The recipient should bring a valid government-issued ID and any collection details supplied for the transfer.

What should I do if I entered the wrong bank account number?

Check the transfer status and contact Coinepay support promptly with your transfer reference. Support can explain whether any correction is possible or whether the transfer must be returned.
