If you want to subscribe to Jasper with a Coinepay virtual card, check Jasper’s payment policy before starting a trial. Jasper says it does not accept virtual cards, so you should not assume a Coinepay card will work at checkout. This guide explains the restriction, how Jasper’s Pro sign-up and billing work, and what to do if a payment fails.
Check card eligibility before you sign up
Jasper says it accepts major credit and debit cards and names Visa, Mastercard and American Express in its terms. Its payment-method guidance also says it does not accept virtual cards, prepaid cards, PayPal or cash apps. Coinepay issues virtual cards, so that restriction is directly relevant: having an available card number and enough funds does not make the card eligible under Jasper’s policy.
Contact Coinepay support to confirm whether your card meets Jasper’s requirements before you buy. You can also ask Jasper to clarify its current payment policy. Do not start a trial expecting a Coinepay virtual card to be accepted, and do not try to bypass a card-type check. If Jasper confirms that it will not accept your card, use a payment method Jasper permits.
Eligibility also depends on where you and your account are located. Jasper’s terms restrict use where providing the service would violate applicable export or re-export law. Confirm that Jasper offers service in your location and use your real identity and billing details. A displayed currency or a successful account sign-up does not, by itself, establish that a particular card will be accepted.
Choose the Jasper plan and understand the charge
Jasper’s public pricing page lists Pro and Business as its current plans. Pro begins with a Start Free 7-Day Trial option; Jasper says trial sign-up requires a credit card and that the selected plan is charged after seven days unless you cancel the trial. Check the terms shown during sign-up, particularly the billing schedule and when your trial ends.
At the time of writing (October 2026), Jasper lists Pro at US$69 per month for one seat on monthly billing, or US$59 per month for one seat, billed annually—US$708 upfront for 12 months. These are Jasper’s published USD prices, not a promise about your final checkout total. Jasper says Stripe applies an exchange rate at purchase. Check Jasper’s official pricing page and the amount shown at checkout before committing.
Business uses custom pricing and starts through Contact Sales rather than a published self-service checkout price. Jasper says Business plans begin with a 12-month commitment. Some Business features also use credits; included credits, purchased credits and usage overages depend on the workspace arrangement. Ask Jasper’s sales team to explain the proposed fee, credits and payment requirements before agreeing to a Business contract.
What to prepare
- A Jasper account and a plan choice. Decide whether you want Pro monthly or annual billing. For Business, prepare to discuss your requirements with Jasper’s sales team.
- An eligible payment method. Because Jasper says it does not accept virtual cards, get clarification from Jasper and Coinepay support before attempting to use a Coinepay card. Have another Jasper-permitted payment method available if the restriction applies.
- Accurate billing information. Enter your real name, billing address and ZIP or postal code as applicable. Make sure they match the details associated with the payment method you use.
- Funds for the selected billing schedule. A trial may lead to a charge after seven days. Annual Pro billing involves an upfront payment for 12 months, rather than twelve separate monthly payments.
- Access to payment verification. Jasper uses Stripe for payments and may require 3-D Secure authentication. Be ready to complete any verification presented by your payment provider.
If you need to register for Coinepay card services, you can create a Coinepay account. Coinepay requires identity verification before you use its card services. After verification, card details—including the number, expiry date and CVV—are available through its self-service dashboard or mobile app. Registering or obtaining a card does not override Jasper’s virtual-card restriction; check the applicable card-service details in the Coinepay app.
How Jasper sign-up and checkout work
Follow these steps only with a payment method Jasper permits. If you are considering a Coinepay virtual card, obtain clarification about eligibility first; the steps below are not a claim that Jasper will accept it. Jasper has not documented every screen a new buyer sees, so follow the current prompts rather than expecting identical labels throughout checkout.
- Open Jasper’s official pricing page. Review Pro’s monthly and annual options and read the current trial terms. For Business, select Contact Sales and discuss the proposed contract and payment arrangements instead of following the Pro trial route.
- Select Start Free 7-Day Trial for Pro. Create or sign in to your Jasper account using your real details. Review the plan and billing schedule selected during sign-up.
- Enter an eligible card and genuine billing details. Follow the payment form presented during sign-up. Check the card number, expiry date, security code and billing address before submitting them. Jasper says a credit card is required to begin the trial.
- Complete authentication if prompted. Follow any Stripe or card-provider 3-D Secure instructions. Do not close the verification window until the checkout has finished and Jasper shows the resulting account or subscription status.
- Check your plan and trial date. In Jasper, open the workspace menu at the top left, then go to Workspace Settings → Plans. Confirm the plan and note when the trial is due to convert to a paid subscription. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want the selected plan charged.
Troubleshoot a declined card or failed renewal
A decline does not necessarily identify the cause on its own. Jasper documents several possible failure reasons, including insufficient funds, incorrect card details, failed 3-D Secure verification, a bank decline and use of a prepaid or virtual card. These are documented causes, not guaranteed verbatim messages at checkout.
- Virtual-card restriction: Start here if you entered a Coinepay card. Jasper’s published policy says it does not accept virtual cards. Ask Jasper to clarify the rejection and contact Coinepay support about your card’s eligibility; if it is not permitted, use an accepted payment method rather than repeatedly retrying.
- Insufficient funds: Check the amount due and the available funds for the payment method. Remember that annual Pro is billed upfront. If you need information about your Coinepay card or available balance, check the app or contact support.
- Billing-address or card-detail mismatch: Recheck the card number, expiry date, CVC and the real billing address and ZIP or postal code. Jasper identifies incorrect card details or ZIP code as possible failure causes. Correct an error; do not enter an invented address to force a match.
- 3-D Secure did not complete: Follow the authentication request from the payment provider. Jasper advises disabling a pop-up blocker if authentication fails during sign-up. If no verification appears or it fails again, ask the payment provider for help; do not assume every card supports the required verification.
- Region or merchant checks: Jasper may decline a payment or restrict access based on its policies and applicable law. Ask Jasper whether the account location and payment method are eligible. Do not change or misrepresent your location or billing information to get around a restriction.
For a renewal failure, Jasper documents the message “your workspace has unpaid invoices”. It says outstanding invoices must be paid to reactivate the workspace. Review your billing history and contact Jasper about the invoices if you cannot resolve the issue through the available billing flow.
Manage billing, cancellation and refund requests
To review or edit your Jasper plan, open the workspace menu at the top left and go to Workspace Settings → Plans. Select View Billing History to open Stripe’s billing page. There, Update Information is documented for changing invoice details; do not assume that this option replaces a stored payment card. If you need to change the card on file and cannot find an appropriate option, ask Jasper for its current instructions.
To cancel Pro, go to Workspace Settings → Plans → Cancel and complete the in-app prompts. Jasper says cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, with access until then. If you are cancelling a trial to avoid its first charge, check the trial deadline and make sure you complete the cancellation process.
Refunds are not automatic. Jasper’s help policy says to cancel first, then email [email protected] within seven days of the charge to request a refund. It limits eligibility to the current subscription charge, not earlier months or additional charges. Jasper’s annual-plan guidance describes a seven-day cancellation and refund period, after which unused annual time is not refundable; its general terms also say cancellations do not receive a refund. Read the applicable policy and your checkout terms carefully, and check any Business contract separately.
