Webflow is a popular website builder and hosting platform, and its paid Site and Workspace plans are billed by card. If you want to keep your subscription on a dedicated card with its own spending limit, a Coinepay virtual card gives you an instant card number, expiry date and CVV you can enter at Webflow checkout. This guide walks through what you need, how to subscribe step by step, and how to troubleshoot a declined payment.

What you need before you start

Getting set up is quicker if you have everything ready in advance:

  • A Webflow account. You can create a free account with an email and password (then verify the email) or sign up with Google. A new account starts with a free Starter Workspace and any new site starts on a free Starter Site plan.
  • A verified Coinepay account. You must register and complete identity verification (KYC) before using card services. You can sign up at the Coinepay registration page and manage everything from the 24/7 dashboard or the mobile app on iOS and Google Play.
  • A Coinepay virtual card with its number, expiry and CVV, plus enough balance to cover the plan you want and any applicable checkout tax.
  • Your real billing details. Use the name and billing address tied to your Coinepay card so Webflow's checks pass.

Webflow accepts major credit and debit cards for its own plan billing — it lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club — and keeps one card per Workspace. If you are using a debit card issued outside the US, your bank may need to approve international recurring debits. If you are unsure whether your Coinepay card meets a particular requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm before you buy.

Which Webflow plan are you paying for?

Webflow splits billing between Site plans (per published site) and Workspace plans (for teams, freelancers and agencies). A paid Site plan is needed for each site published to a custom domain, while a Workspace plan covers collaboration and seats. The two are billed separately, so decide what you actually need.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Webflow's published figures include Site plans Starter (free), Basic ($15/month) and Premium ($25/month billed yearly, or $39/month billed monthly); Ecommerce Site plans Standard ($29/month), Plus ($74/month) and Advanced ($212/month); and Workspace plans such as Core ($19/month) and Growth ($49/month), with Freelancer ($16/month) and Agency ($35/month) tiers for freelancers and agencies. Paid figures are USD per site or Workspace, mostly shown billed yearly and before applicable checkout taxes. Prices and plan names change — Webflow updated its pricing and tiers through 2026 — so always confirm the current figure on webflow.com/pricing before you pay. Note that Webflow's US and EU pricing pages both display USD prices and invoices are issued in USD.

Step-by-step: paying with your Coinepay virtual card

  1. Create and verify your Coinepay card. In the Coinepay app or dashboard, issue a virtual card and note the card number, expiry and CVV. Make sure the balance covers the plan price plus any tax.
  2. Sign in to Webflow. Log in to your account at webflow.com.
  3. For a Site plan: open Site settings → Plans, select the plan you want, and choose monthly or yearly billing. Check any prorated amount or promotion shown on screen.
  4. For a Workspace plan: open the Workspace's Plans, select a tier and billing frequency, and confirm the number of seats.
  5. Enter your card details. Type the Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV, and enter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Coinepay account.
  6. Review and pay. Confirm the total, then select Pay now. The first paid purchase requests a card, which is then used for subscriptions in that Workspace.
  7. Keep the confirmation. Invoices, balances and your saved payment method live in Workspace settings → Billing. Remember that paid plans auto-renew.

If your card is declined

Webflow documents several reasons a card payment can fail. An older user report mentions a message like "Stripe rejected the request: Card was declined," and a more recent report described a "card was declined" message even when a bank debit appeared — so a decline does not always mean the charge settled. Work through the causes below before trying again.

Insufficient funds

Confirm your Coinepay balance covers the full amount, including tax. Top up in the Coinepay app, then retry. Remember yearly billing charges the full annual amount up front, which is larger than the monthly-equivalent figure shown.

Billing address mismatch

Webflow lists a mismatched billing address as a decline cause. The billing address you enter at checkout must match the address registered to your Coinepay card. Re-check the postal code and country and correct any typos.

3-D Secure or incomplete authentication

Webflow cites "incomplete required authentication" as a failure cause. If a verification step appears, complete it in your Coinepay app or follow the prompt to confirm the payment. Do not close the window until Webflow shows the plan as active.

Incorrect or expired details

Double-check the card number, expiry date and CVV. If the card has been replaced or expired, update it and try again.

Daily limit or blocked card

A daily card limit or a block can stop the payment. Check the spending limit set on your Coinepay card and raise it if needed, and make sure the card is active. If everything looks right but the charge still fails, contact Coinepay support to check for fraud controls on the transaction.

Region checks

Webflow restricts accounts and hosting for OFAC-sanctioned locations — it lists Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Russia, Crimea and the specified Donetsk and Luhansk regions — and separately says it cannot host Enterprise websites from mainland China. Use your real location and details; never try to work around a platform's regional checks.

Managing your subscription

Because Site and Workspace subscriptions are separate, you downgrade each one under its own Plans settings to stop renewal. Normally paid access lasts through the billing period you already paid for; immediate cancellation is available too but gives no credit for unused time.

On refunds, Webflow's policy (updated September 2026) says a new monthly or annual Site or Workspace plan is fully refundable only if you both cancel it and request a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase — cancelling alone does not trigger a refund. Renewals are non-refundable, and seats, add-ons, Marketplace purchases, AI credits and usage auto-upgrades are generally non-refundable. Local consumer-law rights still apply.

To avoid an unexpected renewal charge, note your billing date in Webflow and keep enough balance on your Coinepay card, or set a reminder to review the plan before it renews.

A note on digital wallets

Options like Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are documented by Webflow as checkout methods for your store's customers (Ecommerce), not as ways to pay Webflow's own plan invoices. For your subscription, plan on paying by card. You can learn more about Coinepay cards and remittance on the Coinepay homepage, and reach the team any time via Telegram.

Services are provided through licensed partner financial institutions, and some services are not available in every jurisdiction. Always review the current terms in your Coinepay app and on webflow.com before subscribing.

FAQ

Does Webflow accept virtual cards for plan billing?

Webflow accepts major credit and debit cards for its own plan billing, listing Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club, and keeps one card per Workspace. Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry and CVV at checkout. If you are unsure your card meets a requirement, contact Coinepay support before you buy.

Where do I enter my card details in Webflow?

For a Site plan, go to Site settings → Plans, choose the plan and billing frequency, then select Pay now and enter your card. For a Workspace plan, open the Workspace's Plans. Saved cards and invoices live in Workspace settings → Billing.

Why was my Coinepay card declined at Webflow checkout?

Webflow lists insufficient funds, incorrect or expired details, a blocked card, bank fraud controls, a daily card limit, a mismatched billing address, or incomplete authentication. Check your Coinepay balance and limit, confirm the billing address matches your card, and complete any verification step.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my Webflow plan?

Under Webflow's policy updated September 2026, a new monthly or annual Site or Workspace plan is fully refundable only if you both cancel and request a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase. Renewals and most add-ons are non-refundable. Local consumer-law rights still apply.

What currency does Webflow charge in?

As checked in October 2026, Webflow's US and EU pricing pages both show USD prices and invoices are issued in USD. Make sure your Coinepay card has enough balance to cover the USD amount plus any applicable checkout tax.
