Hostinger Website Builder is part of Hostinger's AI Builder, sold in three plan tiers that you pay for upfront by subscription term. This guide explains how to set up a Coinepay virtual card, where the Hostinger checkout and billing settings live, and what to do if your payment is declined. It is written for individuals and businesses outside mainland China who can use their real identity and real billing details.

What you need before you start

  • A Coinepay account with identity verification (KYC) completed. You can register with Coinepay and finish verification before you try to buy anything. Card services require KYC first.
  • A Coinepay virtual card issued in your dashboard. Once issued, you get a card number, expiry date and CVV instantly, which is all you need for an online checkout.
  • Enough balance on the card to cover the full term. Hostinger's advertised prices are per-month equivalents, but the whole term (1, 12, 24 or 48 months) is charged upfront, so confirm the one-time total before you pay.
  • Your real billing address, matching the details on your Coinepay profile. Hostinger also lets you add company details at checkout if you are buying as a business.

You can manage everything from the Coinepay dashboard or the mobile app for iOS and Android.

Understand Hostinger's plans and prices

Hostinger's website-builder page lists three tiers: Premium, Unlimited and Cloud Startup. At the time of writing (October 2026) the United States page advertised Premium at $2.99/month ($143.52 upfront, renewing at $10.99/month), Unlimited at $3.99/month ($191.52 upfront, renewing at $16.99/month) and Cloud Startup at $7.99/month ($383.52 upfront, renewing at $25.99/month), based on the 48-month offer. Prices, taxes and renewal rates vary by region and over time, so always confirm the current figures on Hostinger's official website-builder page for your country before you buy.

Two things are worth noting. First, Hostinger's support pages indicate that new Unlimited and Cloud hosting subscriptions no longer include Hostinger Ecommerce, so a new online store may need a separate Ecommerce subscription; check what the checkout actually displays before confirming. Second, an existing account's currency and regional brand cannot be changed afterward, so pick the right regional site at the start.

Step-by-step: subscribe and pay

  1. Issue your Coinepay card. In the Coinepay dashboard or app, create a virtual card and top it up with enough to cover the upfront term. Keep the card number, expiry and CVV handy.
  2. Choose your plan and term on Hostinger. On the Hostinger website-builder page, select Premium, Unlimited or Cloud Startup, then pick a 1-, 12-, 24- or 48-month term. The longer terms carry the lowest monthly-equivalent price but the largest upfront charge.
  3. Create or sign in to your Hostinger account. You can register with an email address or sign in with Google or Facebook.
  4. Enter billing and any company details. Use your real name and address. If you have a coupon, apply it in the field provided; if you are buying as a business, add your company details.
  5. Select card as your payment method. For the global/USD checkout, Hostinger lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club and Maestro credit, debit and prepaid cards, alongside PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay and cryptocurrency. Regional brands differ: India adds UPI and RuPay, Brazil adds PIX and Boleto, and the UK adds PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay.
  6. Enter your Coinepay card details. Type the card number, expiry date and CVV, and the billing address that matches your Coinepay profile.
  7. Complete any 3-D Secure step. If prompted, approve the payment through the verification method tied to your card, then submit.
  8. Confirm the subscription. After payment, check your new subscription under the Hostinger dashboard, profile icon, then Billing.

If you want to pay for a store as well, note that Hostinger's own bill is separate from the payment gateways your store customers use. At the time of writing the standalone Hostinger Ecommerce US page advertised $5.99/month for 12 months (or $11.99 for one month), renewing at $8.99/month; confirm current pricing on Hostinger's site.

Where to manage billing after you buy

Open the Hostinger dashboard, click the profile icon, then Billing. You will find three sections: Subscriptions, Payment History and Payment Methods. To stop future charges, go to Subscriptions and disable auto-renewal or cancel the subscription; the service stays active through its paid term and then expires. Disabling renewal is not itself a refund request.

Hostinger's refund policy, last revised October 15, 2026, generally requires cancellation within 30 days of the transaction, including an eligible renewal, but excludes the first payment after a free trial and lists other product exceptions. Note that cryptocurrency-funded purchases are non-refundable. For an eligible card payment you can request a refund via Billing → Payment History → Refund; Hostinger says the service is canceled and its data deleted when you submit the request, so export or back up your builder content first. Eligible refunds go to the original funding source or to Hostinger Balance, and a refund sent to Balance cannot later be moved back to the original source.

Troubleshooting: card declined and payment errors

Hostinger shows specific messages at checkout. They indicate a general category, not the exact reason your bank declined a charge.

MessageLikely causeWhat to try
"Insufficient funds, please check the balance"Card balance too low for the full upfront termTop up your Coinepay card so it covers the total shown, including tax, then retry.
"The payment authorization has failed, please try again"Authorization failedRe-enter the card number, expiry and CVV carefully and retry.
"The transaction was declined, please contact your bank"Security-related rejectionCheck the card is active in your Coinepay dashboard; contact Coinepay support if it persists.
"3D Secure Verification Failed"Authentication timeout, missing OTP, card enrollment, or online/international-card restrictionComplete the verification prompt promptly and ensure the card is enabled for online and international use.
"Email velocity – declined"Too many unsuccessful attemptsWait before retrying rather than submitting repeatedly.

A few more pointers specific to this checkout:

  • Billing address mismatch. Make sure the address at Hostinger checkout matches the one on your Coinepay profile exactly.
  • Installment errors. Hostinger documents that some installment options are unavailable on debit or prepaid cards, or where a bank's installment plan is unsupported. If you see this, choose a one-time payment term instead.
  • Region checks. Hostinger states it does not accept payments made from the territories of Russia or Belarus. Separately, Coinepay does not serve sanctioned persons or residents of comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions.
  • Merchant card restrictions. If a merchant restricts card types or issuing regions, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets the requirement before you buy.

If a payment still fails after these steps, reach out to Coinepay support or our Telegram channel to confirm your card status, and contact Hostinger for merchant-side checkout issues. You can learn more about Coinepay cards and remittance on our homepage.

FAQ

Which Hostinger Website Builder plan should I pay for?

Hostinger lists Premium, Unlimited and Cloud Startup. Choose the tier that fits your needs, then pick a 1-, 12-, 24- or 48-month term. Longer terms lower the monthly-equivalent price but charge a larger amount upfront. Check current prices on Hostinger's official website-builder page for your region before paying.

Is the whole subscription charged at once?

Yes. Hostinger's advertised prices are monthly equivalents, but the full term is paid upfront as a single charge. Make sure your Coinepay card has enough balance to cover the one-time total, including any tax, before you check out.

Can I get a refund if I paid with my card?

Hostinger's refund policy generally allows cancellation within 30 days of the transaction for eligible payments, with exceptions such as the first payment after a free trial. Request it via Billing → Payment History → Refund. Submitting the request cancels the service and deletes its data, so back up your builder content first.

Why was my Coinepay card declined at Hostinger checkout?

Common causes are insufficient balance for the upfront term, a billing-address mismatch, a failed 3-D Secure step, or too many repeated attempts triggering an 'Email velocity – declined' message. Check your balance and details, complete any verification prompt, and contact Coinepay support if the card still won't authorize.

Do I need identity verification to use a Coinepay card for Hostinger?

Yes. You must register with Coinepay and complete KYC before card services are available. Once verified, you can issue a virtual card and get its number, expiry and CVV instantly from the dashboard or app.
