Maya Mobile sells travel-data eSIM plans that you can purchase online. This guide walks through choosing a current plan, paying with a Coinepay virtual card, and checking what happened if checkout does not complete. Before buying, confirm that your phone is unlocked and eSIM-compatible and that Maya’s current coverage includes your destination.
What you need before checkout
- A Maya account: The observed checkout offers sign-in with Google, Apple or email. Use an account you can access later to review your order and payment settings.
- An eligible device and destination: Maya requires an unlocked, eSIM-compatible device. Check the coverage information for the places you will visit; network availability can vary locally.
- A Coinepay virtual card: Register with Coinepay and complete identity verification before using card services. Your card number, expiry date and CVV are available through Coinepay after issuance. Check the app or dashboard for your card details and available funds.
- Your real billing information: Have the billing details associated with your payment method ready. Use your own identity and accurate details throughout checkout.
You can register with Coinepay and manage your card in its 24/7 self-service dashboard or mobile app. The app is available for iOS and Android. If you need to check a card setting or funding requirement before purchasing, review the app or contact Coinepay support.
Choose the right Maya Mobile plan
Maya’s current core offering is Unlimited Global Data in four durations. At the time of writing (October 2026), the Maya 3 Days Unlimited Global Data plan was listed at USD 9.99; Maya 7 Days Unlimited Global Data at USD 19.99; Maya 14 Days Unlimited Global Data at USD 27.99; and Maya 30 Days Unlimited Global Data at USD 49.99. Check Maya Mobile’s official plan page and the final checkout total before paying, as prices and applicable charges can change.
These plans are one-time purchases unless you choose to enable Auto Top-Up. Also, “unlimited” does not mean unlimited high-speed data: Maya’s terms describe a daily high-speed allowance followed by standard-speed data. Review the current plan terms if speed matters for video calls, navigation or work while traveling.
If your trip includes a cruise, Maya lists a separate Global + Cruise option. Confirm that your vessel and route participate before selecting it; cruise coverage is not the same as ordinary coverage on land. The steps below focus on the standard Unlimited Global Data purchase, but the same precautions about device compatibility, checkout totals and Auto Top-Up apply when considering another Maya option.
How to pay with your Coinepay virtual card
- Prepare your card. Sign in to Coinepay after completing registration and identity verification. Locate your virtual card number, expiry date and CVV, and check that you have enough available funds for the amount Maya displays at checkout. Card issuance and fund services are provided by licensed partner financial institutions.
- Open Maya Mobile’s official site. Navigate to its current Unlimited Global Data offering. Select the duration that fits your trip, and check the destination coverage and device requirements before continuing.
- Sign in or create your Maya account. Use the Google, Apple or email option presented at checkout. Follow the on-screen prompts to access the purchase flow.
- Complete the compatibility check. Maya’s observed checkout includes a device-compatibility step. Answer accurately rather than assuming that a phone supporting a physical SIM also supports eSIM.
- Review optional checkout choices. If you have an applicable coupon or rewards balance, enter it where offered. Check the Auto Top-Up choice carefully: it is off by default, and enabling it authorizes another purchase of the same duration at expiry using the saved payment method.
- Select card payment. The observed checkout shows cards alongside other payment options. Enter your Coinepay card number, expiry date and CVV, plus your real billing details wherever requested. Review the displayed total before submitting the payment.
- Complete any payment verification. If a security prompt appears, follow its instructions. Do not repeatedly submit the order while a verification or payment is still processing.
- Confirm the result. Look for Maya’s order confirmation. After signing in, you can review order status and payment history under Billing → Orders. Keep the confirmation available for setup or a support request.
Checkout screens and available payment options may differ by device or purchaser location. A card appearing as an option does not establish that any particular transaction will be approved. If you are unsure whether your Coinepay card meets a requirement shown at checkout, contact Coinepay support before you buy.
Manage the card and Auto Top-Up after purchase
Once logged in to Maya, open Billing → Payment Methods to review saved methods. Maya says this area lets you add or remove a payment method and designate a Primary or Backup method. If you enable Auto Top-Up, check which saved method Maya will use for the next purchase.
To switch Auto Top-Up off, go to My eSIM on Maya’s site or in its app. Turning it off prevents a future automatic purchase but does not refund a period that has already begun. If you purchased previously and Maya directs you to its legacy site, follow the account guidance for that purchase rather than assuming its settings match the current checkout.
Troubleshoot a declined card or incomplete order
A failed checkout does not, by itself, identify the cause. Check the message on screen and Billing → Orders before trying again, especially if you are unsure whether an order was created. These are practical checks, not diagnoses of a specific Maya error code.
Insufficient available funds
Compare your available card funds with Maya’s final checkout total, not just the plan’s advertised price. Any applicable checkout charges or currency conversion can change what you need to cover. If your balance is too low, add funds through the available Coinepay process shown in your app, then make one new payment attempt. Ask Coinepay support if you need help understanding a card balance or transaction.
Billing address or details do not match
Re-enter the card number, expiry date and CVV carefully. If Maya requests a billing name or address, use your genuine details associated with the payment method and correct any typing errors. Do not substitute a different country or invented address to get past a check. If the details appear correct but payment still fails, ask Coinepay support what billing information you should use.
3-D Secure or another verification step fails
If checkout opens an authentication prompt, finish it without closing the page or switching away prematurely. If the prompt does not arrive, expires or returns you to checkout without confirmation, check the transaction and order status before retrying. Contact Coinepay support for help with a card-side verification problem; contact Maya support if its checkout remains stuck or the order status is unclear. Do not assume a pending charge means the eSIM order succeeded.
Merchant region or payment checks
A merchant may check the purchaser’s location, billing details or payment eligibility. Confirm that your account details and intended purchase comply with Maya’s terms and any restriction displayed during checkout. If the checkout states a card-type or issuing-country requirement, contact Coinepay support to confirm your card meets it before you buy. Do not use a false location or someone else’s details to bypass a restriction. For an unexplained decline, give support the attempted purchase time and the exact on-screen message, but never send your full card number or CVV in an ordinary support message.
If you need to cancel or request a refund
Contact Maya at [email protected] or submit a Maya support request to cancel an order or seek a refund. Removing an eSIM from your account does not itself request or issue a refund. Under Maya’s current terms, an unused-data plan requested within 30 days of purchase may qualify for a full refund less applicable processing fees. Other cases, including an activated plan affected by a Maya-side issue, depend on the terms and troubleshooting conditions. Check the current terms and Maya’s decision for your order rather than assuming a refund is automatic. Card refunds may take up to 30 business days.
